They came when they said they would, did what they said they would, and cleaned up after themselves. The price was reasonable, and both the worker who came, and the business owner have been very pleasant to work with.

Good, but Owner didn't know where he got my info, and didn't know I had paid online with Angie's List, until I told him I did. Once he figured that out he got a crew scheduled to come out. Also, initially owner didn't know exactly what service we had paid for. I think that they don't use the Angie's list referrals too often, or someone besides the owner may handle it. It was confusing at first. But the crew did the work quickly and got the job done. Glad I didn't have to get on the roof to do it.

They did not contact me first, and I had to reach out to them. I was promised a call after speaking with the owner and received no follow up. Update 4/6/15: They have since contacted me and completed the work.

It went fine. They worked with a schedule and being they had to work around the weather as well, they did good. I didn't actually meet with them. I wasn't at the house. Because it was exterior they just came in and did it so I only saw the finished project.

My experience is incomplete. Purchased this deal in early September and have not heard from provider, though they have until spring 2014 to fulfill their end of the deal. John Price of Lawler called our home less than half an hour after the above statement was posted and arrived at our home about 30 minutes after the telephone contact. He was pleasant and efficient. He spent about an hour cleaning our gutters, tightening loose gutters and cleaned up around the house after working. We purchased the service as part of the Big Deal promotion and were disappointed in the lack of contact the long delay between email contacts and the October 29 phone call and service. We would consider using the company again only because of the work that was done once Mr. Price appeared.

Delays in getting bid for work, seems there were personnel problems. Finally did the job and was well done.

He wasn’t available to come out when I needed him, nothing against them. I just went with someone else.

Called Jim and explained the situation. Told him I did not require cleaning or any other work as the gutters were new (not installed by Lawler - we recently bought the house and have no idea who installed them). I have had two other companies tell me they would add the downspout but they never showed up and several others refused the work stating it wasn't worth their time. Jim took the job and his company did excellent work! Very professional and the downspout is exactly where it was needed. Thanks Jim!

I contacted Lawler Custom Exteriors and Jim Lawler promptly returned my call and was very professional and informative about the service I was inquiring about. His crew installed the Shur Flo Gutter Guard System within a week. I had a minor problem when the roof was installed by another company last year and when I contacted Jim, he sent his foreman, Tim, to my house to look at the issue. Tim said he would correct the problem which was no fault of Lawler's. Very satisfied.

We paid for a roof inspection and they have not come. Probably has something to do with storm damage in area.

Project went well. Took longer than expected, but we are happy with results.

Installed in less than 3 hours. New front gutters look great. I am very satisfied with the work that was done.

As the contractor and business owner, Bill Lawler was superb.? He responded quickly to our request for a bid.? He?answered all of our questions without pressuring us in any way?and?gave us addresses within our area to look at roofs we were interested in.? He remained in frequent contact with us throughout the duration of the job and made sure everything was going as it should.? Of course he came by when the work was completed to check the work and make sure we were satisfied. The crew was on time and did an outstanding job.? They used drop cloths and a dumpster for the debris and made sure all was cleaned up upon completion.? They worked efficiently with respect?for their safety and the weather.? ?Besides their competency, the crew was friendly and easy to do business with.? We would definitely hire?Lawler again and are happy to recommend them most highly.

He was very unresponsive to my phone calls. When he did call he kept promising they would be out here but nothing happened. They came out and finally completed the work August 20th, It had only taken them 1 hour to complete the job they had put off for 6 weeks. The quality of the guttering is good and down spouts are working great!

Went well. Took only about 3 hours. The guys did a good job cleaning up the work site. A good downpour occurred 2 days later and the gutters worked great. I didn't grade the cost b/c this was an Angie's List Big Deal and I got a discount on 50 ft. of the guttering. But the final cost was within my budget.

I had several companies out to bid on our gutter job, but was astounded by the price. We needed new gutters and downspouts on the rear of the home. We also had a section of the home that had new gutters (NOT installed by Lawler), but was not draining properly. Many of the companies we had out to bid wanted to remove siding and outside lights to re-slope the trouble area. This was going to be very costly. I saw the Angie's Deal for Lawler, read the reviews, and decided to purchase the 50 linear feet of gutters for $250. I knew it wouldn't cover the entire cost, but with other bids over $1000, I figured if I could save a few dollars, might as well. I was promptly contacted by Lawler to set-up a time for the contractor to see the job. I wasn't able to take off work to meet him, however he called me while he looked at my house so we could talk through the trouble area. I greatly appreciated this convenience. The contractor and I talked through several options and he found a great solution to fix my drainage issue, while being cost conscience. He thought outside of the box: he kept safety in mind, he wanted the solution to be aesthetically pleasing, and he wanted to fix the water drainage issue for good. Two days later it poured. No drainage issues. The new gutters and downspouts look great and work perfectly. I would highly recommend Lawler and will definitely use them again in the future.

They were great! They actually did the work when I wasn't home. I would recommend them to others.

Took a long time for them to come out from the time I purchased the Angies List coupon until the day the actual job was done. Once here job seems to be satisfactory as they did what was outlined in the job details. Owner seems like a nice guy but business almost has too much business/not enough workers and should hold off on offering coupons until a slower time of the year when jobs can be done in a more timely fashion.

The service was amazing and they were great about letting me know that the gutters needed replaced. They have since replaced the gutters. They were very thorough and prompt. The owner Jim Lawler answered all my questions and responded in a very professional manner.

This was our first time having to replace a roof and, unfortunately for us, it had to be at our own expense because of the age of the roof (23 years). We contacted four Angie's List companies and presented the same set of circumstances to each and then compared bids the same way. The bids were all within $500 of each other, so it came down to the fine print, so to speak. Lawler impressed us from the beginning by sitting down with us and explaining step-by-step what the process would be, presenting samples of the materials being recommended and why and then clinched the deal when they offered to upgrade to lifetime architectural shingles at no additional cost. During this process, they also offered a "Big Deal" through Angie's List, which we purchased and which represented an additional savings to us of $1100. It happened precisely as it was explained to us: first the materials were delivered, followed a day or two later by the crew, who arrived on time and immediately set to work. Altogether, it took them 3 complete days. The crew was friendly and polite and each day they went through the yard picking up and disposing of the roof debris. They also replaced some capping for us and straightened out a roof vent that had apparently suffered some wind damage. We would hire them again for any type of exterior work.

We are so happy to have found Lawler Roofing. We first visited with Bill Lawler who measured and within a few days visited us again with an estimate and date that the work could begin. Bill was prompt and courteous at each visit. We were provided with shingle samples and addresses where we could see each of the samples on existing homes which was very helpful. The work crew arrived at the specified time. They were courteous, friendly, answered questions if we asked and were young men we would be proud to know. We were also impressed with their work ethic.
