Their bid came in between two other bids that I had received. John and Omni came highly recommended by a co-worker of mine, and he was also very prompt in getting back to me and coming out and giving me an estimate, so I gave them the business. As a courtesy, I asked them to come down a little bit on price to match the lower bid, and he did knock $100 off, which I appreciated. They came and did the work in a very professional manner. Used cranes (as one of the trees was hanging over my neighbors house, and the other over some power lines and the street). Removed all debris and also left one of the logs for us to cut up for firewood. When that task became too big for my neighbor's chain saw, I called them back and they had the rest of that log removed as well... Other than the 2 holes filled with mulch where the old trees were, you can't tell anyone was even there. I would definitely use Omni again for any tree work.

They were very polite and good to work with. They seemed very knowledgable.

They did an awesome job! Didnt have to be home when work was performed and they did everything I asked. I will be using them in the future!

They came out and gave me an estimate of the work I wanted performed as well as advising on removing a bush instead of trimming it. I have a clearer view now that the bush has been removed. It was extremely hot when they came out and advised that the weather would need to cool down for the work to be done. A few week later when it was still hot but not the 100 degree weather we had been having, they came out and completed the work. It was done in a few hours' time in one day.

It all went well. They showed up around 8:30 AM and were finished by about 11. Had no problems with their work.

I use them all the time. They are great.

Tom and Denise are awesome. They do all of the tree work in our 255 home subdivision that has a lot of old trees. We have a problem with an old oak; Tom came, evaluated it, provides recommendations and will be doing work for us in the spring. I've spoken with 3 tree companies in St. Louis and this is the best.-- responsive, price quote, knowledge.

They showed up on time for the estimate, the price was very good, and they did the work quickly on the day promised. I'll be having them back out in the spring to remove one more tree for me.

On August 31, Omni gave me an estimate for removing two trees and 3 additional limbs on other trees. On September 6, I called their office and told them I wanted them to do the work. I said that I wanted the work to be scheduled when I could be home. They told me to call their arborist (their person that had given me the estimate). I called him and told him that I wanted the work to be scheduled when I was home. On September 26, my wife came home from work and found that the crew had come that day and done the work. They had come onto our property without arranging for us to be here as we had agreed. Most of the work they had done was fine, except for one large oak tree. Because we did not want to pay the expense of hauling away the logs from this tree, I had requested that the logs be piled along the back property line. Instead of doing this, the crew had left the logs scattered like puzzle pieces across a portion of the yard. Some of these logs were almost 3 feet in diameter and impossible for one man to move. I called the company and the arborist acknowledged that they were suppose to schedule the work with us in advance. They said they would send a crew in two days to move the logs. Two days later, "the crew", consisting of one man, showed up. He looked at the logs, said he could not move them by himself, and left. The office called later that day and said that they would re-schedule to move the logs when they had more men available. I did not hear anything from them for 6 days, so I called their office. No one answered the phone, so I left a message asking them to call me and schedule the move so that I could arrange to be here to communicate with the crew about the work. Two days later, their crew showed up, again with no advanced scheduling to make sure I would be home. Fortunately, I was home and I could explain to them where to move the logs. The final job was well done and reasonably priced, but their repeated ignoring of my request schedule the work for a time that I was at home was unacceptable. For that reason, I would not use this company again.

I called the second week of August and an arborist came out to give an estimate the next day. He gave his opinion on how bad the trees were which was appreciated. I signed the contract on August 16th and was told by the estimator it would take about two weeks for them to get to us. After two weeks, I had not heard anything but AmerenUE had come out to install covers over the street power lines so I assumed that was done by OmniTree. When I still had not heard from them by September 9th, I called to find out when they were coming and was asked if Ameren had put the covers on the lines. Then they scheduled me for September 16th. On that Friday, the crew started showing up at 8:30AM and was soon at work. I was amazed at the efficiency of the workers and how well they worked together as well as how they seemed to enjoy working with each other. About 7-8 guys in constant motion, none standing around with nothing to do, and all watching out for the safety of each other and the property. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves and you'd never know anyone had done such a large job. Worked was completed and they were gone by about 11:45AM. I couldn't be happier with the work they did and most certainly will use them again.

Received prompt response for estimate on trimming/deadwooding two trees. John gave thorough explanation of what needed to be done and why. The work was performed within my requested time frame. The cleanup was not as thorough as I would have liked but will certainly use this company again.

I called Omni on Fri Aug 26th because my landscaper found bagworms on a large spruce tree. We recently moved into this home and we are having the front yard re-landscaped. When I described the situation of bagworms and several dead branches I was told someone from Omni would be out the following Monday or Tuesday, take a look, and leave an estimate if I was not home. It was a NO SHOW/NO CALL. I guess this job was too small for them?? Anyway, I researched bagworms on the internet and decided to go to Home Depot and get the chemicals myself. Would not call them again for any tree issues due to what I consider unprofessional behavior.

On Friday Aug. 26 three gentlemen came and pruned and shaped 4 evergreen trees. They were very professional and respecful. The clean-up was thorough and excellent. I would recommend this company and I would use them again for more work on my yard.

Arrived on time each day, crews were professional in all respects, clean and safe work area at all times. Removed a vast dead hickory tree and carried off property. Dug huge hole for the large Red Sunset Maple that replaced the hickory tree. Fertilized all the trees located in the landscaped portion of the lot. All crews were professional and maintained a safe and clean work area at all times.

The estimate was $600. The guy responded to my phone calls quickly. He showed up when he was supposed to show up. He gave me an estimate on the spot. I felt it was too expensive. I would have hired him if the price had been right.

Omni did a great job at our house. We are new home owners (and first time home owners) and this was the first job we had performed (didn't want dead trees looming over the house come winter). Couldn't have been happier with Omni. We got 4 quotes on the job and Omni was the best price. They arrived on time and performed the work very promptly and efficiently. The work crew were friendly and kept me informed. Only thing I wasn't aware of up front was that there was no haul away for the wood chips from the stump grinding but all tree trees were gone within hours.

Did exactly what we requested. Worst thing was the grinding of the roots threw chunks of wood but to be expected. Did cut sprinkler line and had to have it repaired. They worked very fast and efficiently.

Omni Tree Service responded within a week of my call for my request for a quote to remove two large trees and grind three stumps. I was able to schedule the work to be done the following week. The work was accomplished in one afternoon. They cleaned up well and one worker even went up on the house roof to blow-off leaves and small branches. The stump grinding crew began work as soon as the tree removal crew was out of their way. My only complaint is in the punctuality category. I called late on a Monday afternoon to confirm the work was being done the following day. I was told I was the first job scheduled and work would begin between 8am and 830am. At 1030am no one had arrived and I had not been called. I called Omni and was told the workers would be at my house at noon. They showed up at pm. Again, I was not called and informed about the delay. In closing, I would use Omni again and I recommend them.

From the bidding process to the cleanup Omni was outstanding. Some of the companies who came to bid on the job spent a lot of time moaning about how hard it would be to remove the large tree but Omni did not. I discussed my concern about damage to my grass when the branches were carried to the chipper as this had happened with other tree companies on past jobs. They brought mats to lessen the damage to my grass as they removed the pieces of the trees and the grass was fine- no damage. The crew was very professional and even repaired my fence when a log rolled and hit some of the boards. I own 2 heavily wooded properties and have used almost every tree service in town over the years. I have to say that Omni is the best I have ever used and I will use them again.

They were very friendly, but their price was just higher than we were wanting to spend. We opted to not have the job done at all.

I made several changes to their standard contract which they readily accepted. They supplied the requested certificate of insurance before the job started and provided a lien waiver after it was done. They said it would be a few weeks before they got to my job but they were ready to go in less time. They gave me prior notice and showed up with heavy equipment and four workers. These trees were mature and between 30 and 50 plus feet high. They efficiently took down each one in about 1/2 hour each. The top 2/3rds of each tree were fed into a mulcher and the bottom 1/3 (the thickest) of the trunks were left on my lawn for later pick up. After the trees were down the crew cleaned up completely. A few days later they showed up with a stump grinding machine and completely ground up all signs of the stumps. My only criticism is that they left the large bottoms of the trunks on my lawn and they weren't picked up for 4-5 days causing minor damage to my lawn. My suggestion to others is that you pre-determine where you want the trunks to rest until they are picked up. The job would have been $500 or so cheaper but we discovered that another part of the biggest tree (which we were going to leave up) was rotted out. Instead of having the crew take down the other half at the same time I waited a few days until the owner could assess whether the rot threatened the portion of the tree left up. He determined that it could fall due to the rot so we had to reschedule another day for removal. That meant all the equipment and crew had to come back which added greatly to the cost. Had I decided to cut down the rotted portion on the first day the cost would have been minimal. That was my error in judgement, not Omni's.

Recently moved into a house where trees have been neglected regarding trimming and shaping. Had a bad experience with someone taking care of them who actually damaged them. Called Omni and Tom came out within a few days to give an estimate on re-shaping them. Unfortunately they were so damaged nothing could be done. Omni gave me some advice about what to do with them. If my trees make it through the winter, I will call Omni next spring to shape them up.

It was fine. I called them first and received a quote, he told me to ask the county if they'd do something about it. The county said they could only cut it down. So we had Omni pin the branches together.

The job was executed perfectly. The crew was professional and hard working from start to finish. Everything we wanted done ... was done well. The work team arrived in multiple trucks and vehicles, including a crane to support the top branches of the trees that were coming down, and a mulching machine to dispose of the tree limbs as they were taken off the tree. On brave man suspended himself high in the tree, supported by a harness as he wielded his chain saw from one branch to another. I was so mesmerized, I stood outside for a couple of hours to watch and take photos of the entire process. In the end, all was accomplished according to my wishes. The crew cleaned up and left. I would definitely use this company again and I totally recommend it. My only regret has absolutely nothing to do with the company: I am sad that my oak tree had to go. I will replant another tree, of course, but how can it take the place of a 34 year old tree?

They were late 40 minutes and didn't call ahead. When I walked around the property with the owner, Tom, he repeatedly answered his cell phone and on multiple times walked away from me to take the call. If he is going to be late, he should have the courtesy to call.
