Auto Body Work
I deliveered the car for repair on a Monday with the agreement that it would be finished by Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. It was rather humid, and the paint was not dried on Tuesday, so we agreed to come in Wednesday morning. When we did come in, I noticed that the rear bumper had not been repaired and painted as I had expected. They said that their understanding was that they were to merely touch up the scratches and not do a complete bumper repair. This is where these kind of situations can turn unhappy rather quickly, but they apologized for the misunderstanding and agreed to keep the car another day and do a complete repair on the bumper at no additional charge. I offered to pay more for the repair and they refused my offer saying that they wanted a happy customer. I am more than happy. Although I hope to not need their services for major body repair in the future, if I do need that kink of work, Prater Auto is where I will be going, and I'll tell everyone I know about this excellent, family run business.
