The tech arrived on time, and did a thorough job--checking things that aren't always included. He did not try and sell me anything I didn't need.

Excellent. Repair was finished within half an hour at the appointed return time (first call was late in the day -- after 5:30 p.m. -- so he had to bring the part back the next day.) He installed the new thermostat and gave the furnace itself a much-needed cleaning. (First service since it was installed 11 years ago.) Also valuable advice on how to deal with the likely next part of the furnace when it fails. (A motor with bearings that are beginning to whine, though not enough to fix/replace yet.)

Right on time, very professional and enjoyable. Super service. This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

I am very impressed with this company and will use them going forward for our HVAC needs. We bough an Angie's List deal for $59 for a furnace tune-up. Jalene contacted me shortly after the purchase to schedule a convenient time. The technician showed up on time and was helpful in explaining his observations, thorough in his furnace condition check-up and safety check-up and honest and encouraging about the condition of our furnace and followed-up with a written, e-mailed report and receipt. Great deal and great service!

Discovered the furnace needs repairs or replacement so even though we didn't get the tune up but now we know what we need for the furnace.

Quickly. He was prompt, efficient. The only glitch was that I paid the serviceman--he took a picture of my card with his phone, then I got a couple of bill reminders before that was cleared up. If I had had a check to use, I would not have had this problem. They need to use an app that allows them to take credit cards.

Can you say awesome?! I called Joe (owner) Friday morning. My husband had used his services for a different problem a couple of years or so ago and knew he would be honest and provide a fair assessment. I explained the problem and let him know that two other companies had come out, but only wanted to discuss the price of replacing the A/C and furnace. He promised to send one of his technicians, Ray, to take a look the next morning at 9:00 a.m. Ray arrived early at 8:35 a.m. Saturday. He did a diagnostic on both the furnace and A/C. To our surprise and relief, he was able to get the A/C working. Ray washed the outdoor coil, replaced the dirty filter, and topped off the Freon R22. We do have a Freon leak and may eventually need to replace the unit in the near future. Per our request, he also gave us estimates on replacements for both the A/C and furnace (just in case). The estimates were lower than all others we had received these last couple of days. Thanks again Joe and Ray!

Joe was very responsive and did a great job. I got bids from two other heating and AC contractors, and Joe was $2,000 under their bids and got me the bid without me calling him multiple times to get it, unlike the other contractors. Joe was very accommodating about working with our other contractors' schedules to get the job done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend his company.

They fixed my elderly parent's AC unit during a very hot spell. They were prompt, responsive, honest, respectful, and knowledgeable. They fixed the unit, charged a fair price. I would ABSOLUTELY use Royal again, and will recommend them to others as well.

He's been really great. I found him through Angie's List, actually. He's always really nice. He does do a good job and tells me if there's any things that are wrong. His prices are really good too. I got the Angie's List Deal this last time for the air conditioning and then he gave me the same deal without going through Angie's List for the furnace. He's been really great.

Joe and two others worked all day in getting the unit in and getting the new ducting set up in the basement. He did a great job. A couple of months later we could not get the A/C on, and Joe had someone out that day and replaced the thermostat for free. I would highly recommend Royal's Heating & Air.

They were fine. I liked that the gentlemen who came to my house was polite, considerate, you know, took into consideration all costs options available to me, he didn't try to sell me his highest cost item. I would definitely recommend them.

We have used this company for several years now and we LOVE them! They are always convenient to schedule appointments with. We have worked with both Joe, the owner and Ray, one of his technicians. They are not only the nicest guys, but both are very knowledgeable, professional and I feel do a thorough job with both our air conditioner and our heater. They are definitely helping us to extend the life of our HVAC system! I highly recommend them.

Joe, the owner, and another employee came out. They arrived within 20 minutes of the appointment time. They were very professional. However, I was shocked when the bid came back: $14,787! Evaporative coolers are supposed to be less expensive than standard air conditioners. The estimate was just ridiculous, more than twice the cost I got from another contractor.

The owner returned my call and was able to schedule an estimate appointment quickly. He knew what we needed and realized the system was set up for an a/c unit that was too large for the house. He could've told us we needed the more expensive, larger unit we already had but was very honest in letting us know a smaller unit would be more appropriate for our home. Install day came, they were here on time, worked efficiently, friendly.

Everything was explained very clearly and completely beforehand. Installation was done in a timely manner & staff were pleasant & professional. No mess no fuss.
