Great experience! He seemed very knowledgeable and thorough. We will be using him again in the spring for our AC service.

I first wanted the fireplace cleaned and maintained then found out he also was HVAC certified so asked him if he could do the furnace too. He was prompt and efficient. I trusted his assessment of my old furnace. I have had other service people tell me that the furnace required major work. Joe didn't think that was true. So again, I was a single woman being bamboolzed by a service guy. I would most certainly use Joe again.

The technician was very punctual for the appointment and very careful while in my house. He explained why the fireplace was not working and what I can do to fix it on my own in the future if needed. I highly recommend this vendor!

Joe Royal owner of Royal Heating & Air was the gentleman that performed the service on the fireplace. The original appointment was for 1:30PM. He called and said that he was in Boulder and the job was taking a little extra time. He asked if 2;30PM would be OK and arrived promptly at 2:30PM. Joe placed a tarp on the carpet for protection and explained how different controls worked and their function as he worked on the fireplace. Joe was very responsive when I had a question about something and didn't seem to be bothered by me asking questions while he worked. If the need arose in the future, I would not hesitate to hire him again. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Joe showed up on time cleaned and tuned my furnace. Joe also cleaned and tuned my gas fireplace he changed out the batteries in the transmitter inside my fireplace to get the remote to turn on and adjusted the flame height. Now my remote works and the dancing flames look great.

Every thing went as planned. No surprises. Delightful to work with.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. He was on time and I didn't have any problems. There were no additional costs. He did everything that needed to be done. He spent quite a while on it. He pointed out things that he had done and went over it with me.

Was perfect provider, called ahead to say he was on his way, told us about a possible future repair that would be needed, showed up on time. Was in and out in about an hour. Will definately be using him for future services.

Joe did a regular service checked on our heater. He cleaned it and found it to be in good condition. He did not up-sale. I did ask about the fact that there were no return vents in the basement and the fact it was cold down there. He gave me a very reasonable quote and will follow up with that work. We will use him again.

.Joe Royal is a 1-2 man shop. He extends himself to respond promptly to service requests (came on 12/24 and 12/31, 1 day after I called.) He used a drop cloth, wore carpet cleaner slippers over his shoes, vacuumed around the work area. He made an attempt to keep costs low by cleaning the thermocouple to see if that would fix the problem without having to replace it. He cleaned the "logs", replaced them carefully . When I had service previously from another provider, the logs were replaced with sooty parts showing, without being cleaned. I was very satisfied with all aspects of the service, and will use Joe Royal again for problems with my gas fireplace or furnace. He also changed my furnace filter for me at no extra charge as I was somewhat disabled with a broken clavicle, and was unable to do it myself.

Joe cleaned the furnace and adjusted it. He also changed the filter and my humidifier was leaking so he fixed the leak.

Joe Royal arrived on time and was a delight to work with. I learned quite a bit about my furnace and hot water heater. He took the time to explain everything to me and the repair was not a surprise. I plan on calling him to do an inspection of my air conditioning units come spring, and if I need a new hot water heater, I will call him as well.

Great experience overall! Recently moved into a new house and needed to have the furnace serviced. Joe was prompt, professional and gave helpful examples to increase our overall efficiency. Additionally, our furnace is located on the main floor and it had been "whistling" and was so loud we could barely hear the TV. Joe went above and beyond, patching an air leak, which in turn quieted the furnace. It has made such a difference to our enjoyment of the main floor. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Furnace tuneup. Fairly new furnace, annual tuneup. Professionally performed, no additional services pushed at me me while he was performing the original tuneup.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal for furnace cleaning. Joe called prior to the appointment time to say he could arrive early if that worked for me. He accessed the furnace and pointed out some items that needed attention. For example, he noticed evidence of moisture that indicated a blocked drainage tube. He cleaned the furnace thoroughly and cleared the faulty tube. What was most impressive to me was that he examined the entire hvac area and made recommendations for care/maintenance. The filter on the humidifier needed to be replaced, so he showed me how to access it, what type of filter to purchase and how to install. No furnace service person had ever pointed this out to us before. He checked all aspects of the furnace operation and providing detailed service. I felt that he provided excellent service and took care to advise us about maintenance. I would definitely call him in the future for service/repair. He seemed honest and invested in doing good work.

Great, he was punctual and friendly. Worked with our project to adjusted the design to what we had in mind. He was upfront in explaining both cases and showing exactly what he was doing and what was wrong.

Joe Royal and I agreed on date to perform service. Joe promptly arrived on that date and time. He replaced the boiler expansion tank and tested the installion to verify the system was working correctly. Joe properly documented the service and sent me an email detailing the service performed.

Joe was very professional, careful, and did a great job. We will use Joe again, every year to insure our heating and cooling works as it should!!
