ABC Quality Moving & Storage

This was one of the best and easiest moves I've ever had, thanks to ABC Moving. First - they were there when they said they would be there. I've moved so many times and have been given a window and the movers are usually outside of the window. Not ABC Quality Movers. Showed up on time and ready to work. I had the pleasure to work with Patrick and Walt on my move. They were friendly, professional and fast. I was moving from an apartment that had a narrow door and tight entryway. In less than a minute, they had my full sized sofa out of the door. As a contrast, when I had the sofa delivered, it took the company that delivered it over 20 minutes to get it into the apartment. One other thing, I had to book ABC Quality Movers on short notice and they worked with me to find something that mutually worked for our schedules. I would highly recommend them to anyone

We arranged for two trucks and a team of 5 guys: Karan, Sam, Greg, Walt, and Jeff.  They worked FAST and there was a lot to do.  Very conscientious - treated our stuff like it was their own.  Used shrink wrap on large items to protect them and keep drawers in place.  Used runners and drop cloths in new house to protect the hardwood floors.  Packing was done right - we have unpacked the entire kitchen and a lot more, and not a single damaged item.  I was very impressed.

It went extremely well.  I threw a few curves there way (like an elliptical machine)  but they handled and continued.  The did not put one dent or scratch in the walls or furniture Amazing!  They arrived on time, were very professional.  This is the 3rd time my family used them.

The day before the move we were called to verify all information. On the day of the move we were called an hour before the arrival.  
Kevin and Tim were punctual, efficient, courteous and professional in every respect of the word. They worked diligently and quickly. Throughout the process we were confident that the job would get done well. We would certainly use them again.

The company initially estimated $294-$490 based on the internet form I submitted and did not revise the quote after we spoke by phone and I provided additional details.
The movers themselves were great and worked extremely hard even though it was 100+ degrees outside.  We had issues with the communication between the office and the movers, however.  We scheduled the move to start at our apartment, stop off at a storage unit on the way to the house to pick up the rest of our items, and then end at the house.  I confirmed this twice with the office prior to the move.  When the movers arrived, they had all three addresses listed on the form that I signed to authorize the move.  About an hour after they started putting things into the truck, they said that there wasn't room to pick up the items from storage and that they had been under the impression that we were going to be dropping off some items at the storage unit.  (Side note, the way they packed the truck would have made it impossible to unload any items from the truck without unloading everything so I don't necessarily buy this reason)  So we had to go straight to the house, unload, then back track to the storage unit to pick up the items and then back to the house to unload for a second time.  This was pretty inefficient and resulted in an additional 90 minutes of moving time.
I called the office the following Monday to see where the communication breakdown had occurred.  The customer service rep reviewed the documentation and told me that she could see where the confusion happened--the form that they use does not have a line for an intermediate stop so they had to write the information in between two lines.  She acknowledged that they needed to revise the form to prevent errors like this in the future.  Despite taking responsibility verbally, the company did not take any steps to reimburse the amount we paid for the time wasted due to the error.  

Overall exceptional job.  Arrived on time, worked hard all day.  This was a big move - from a 4 bedroom 2 stroy to a 6 bedroom 2 story.  Our crew of Greg, Tim and PJ were outstanding.  Professional and courteous - didn't hesitate to move things more than once or twice when we couldnt decide where we wanted things.  Couldnt say enough good things!  Highly highly recommend

Billy, Chris and Jeff worked their butts off to get us moved to a new location! In the 4.75 hours they worked, no one ever "slacked off" or stopped moving. They had a sense of humor through the whole process which made it fun. It was the best $600 we ever spent!

Very pleased with ABC's sevices.  Called ABC based on Angie's List reviews.  Talked to Ron and Mike, who were able to schedule my move on very short notice.  The moving crew (Patrick, Tim, and Walt) arrived on time and went straight to work.  They were very patient with last minute requests, such as packing mirrors and pictures.  I underestimated the amount of furniture to be moved, and the time it would take to dissemble the beds, grandfather clock, etc.  We ended up having to make 2 trips, because we could not fit everything on the truck.  It was a very not day, and it took almost 12 hours to finish the job.  Our new rental house wasn't ready as planned, so we had to take all of the furniture to storage.  The crew remained friendly, professional, and patient in spite of my disorganization, the hot weather, and the unplanned extra hours required to finist the job.

The move went smoothly and efficiently.  Sam and Mike arrived around 9am and started moving things right away.  We were very happy with their efficiency and professionalism and will use them in the future, if necessary.

James, Kevin, and Don arrived right on time and got right to work. All three were friendly and professional, and I was impressed by how hard they worked. The apartment I was moving to was on the second floor, but there were a lot of stairs, and it was not easy to haul everything up there. They did a decent job of packing as well. I am still unpacking, but so far I have not found anything that was damaged during the move. Kevin took care of payment at the end, and he clearly explained the charges.

Sorry for delay in responding.  The two guys that moved me were outstanding.  Did a great job, personable and professional.  Would definitely use this moving company again and would definitely refer them!!!

Kevin, Jeff, & Chris did a awesome job moving us into our new home.  We have very heavy oversized bedroom set that was taken apart, moved, and re-assembeled with care.  They also moved all of our other belongings.  They were very professional and polite.  We were very pleased with the service.  Thanks guys!

Got right to work. Only took one break and that was for lunch going from one house to the new place. We kept the ice water pitch full the whole time.

I requested an estimate and received one by email very quickly. I liked that I did not have to take an inventory of all of my things before getting a quote. I called to schedule and the woman I spoke with was very courteous. Initially she scheduled for an afternoon move, and then called back when she realized the size of the move would mean it would need to be done in the morning. She explained this situation sensibly so I changed willingly. On the day of the move, the movers arrived exactly on time. The movers were Ryan, Mike M, and "Little" Tim. On a VERY hot summer day (110F), they moved a large number of boxes (>50 boxes of books alone) and furniture from 3 floors into another house with 4 floors. They were very careful with all of the furniture and boxes, and seemed experienced with moving bulky items--no big dings on walls or floors. They were very professional and polite, and willingly carried the heaviest furniture items to the topmost floor. They paid close attention to how the boxes were labelled, and were quick to ask for clarifications about where things should go. Without my asking, they even reassembled furniture they had had to take apart, put bed frames back together, etc. I was very impressed by their professionalism during the entire move. Overall they made a stressful moving day a lot less stressful. I will certainly call ABC moving again the next time I need some heavy lifting!

Eric and Ryan did a great job!  They were scheduled to show up between 8:30 - 9:30 and arrived at 8:30.  They were very professional and explained everything that was to happen.  They worked consistently until it the job was done.  I will be hiring them again when I buy a place and move in!

Nathan and Sam did a fantastic job, and I couldn't be happier! They showed up where they were supposed to be on time, they were cheerful and friendly, and they took excellent care of my furniture and home. Some of the pieces were extremely heavy and awkwardly large, but they muscled them down to my new office/craft space with no complaining. They were very gracious when I asked them to change the arrangement a couple of times, and they even pointed out a couple of things I hadn't noticed (like which pieces went on top of others because they had felt bottoms). They finished in a very reasonable amount of time, and when the job went a few minutes over my two-hour window, they did not charge me for the extra minutes. I highly recommend ABC Quality Moving!

3 Guys got there at expected time.  After we walked them through the house, they began to work.  They worked hard!  A few issues were that not everything could fit into their truck (we have a lot of stuff) but there were some big items that I would have liked to have gotten in rather than boxes or things that I could have moved myself.
They did forget to move part of our crib.
They did forget to move part of our refrigerator door.
They took shelving off and I feel that I didn't have a grasp on where all the shelves are now and where all the pieces are for the units. I suppose I could have been more organized to keep track of that.

I'm very happy. Unlike another highly rated firm on Angie's list - they responded immediately with a bid and confirmed the date.They arrived on time and worked very efficiently.They called to confirm the move ahead of time and have a simple contract on their web site that I was able to read in advance and a copy of their liability insurance.
 I'll need to move additional furniture after and estate sale and will use them again

Mike and his team did the job they said they were going to do for a competitive price.  They took good care of my stuff during the move and nothing was damaged.  Everyone I interacted with at ABC Quality Moving acted in a friendly and professional manner.  If you are looking for a mover I recommend getting a quote from ABC Quality Moving!

The move was wonderful!  Everything with ABC Moving was wonderful - from the customer service to the men who did the actual moving.  No damage to ANY of my items or house!!  They worked hard and had good humor.  I've moved about 6 times in the last 12 years and this was by far the best experience.  I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again!

Patrick and Jeff were our movers. They were professional, courteous, and  didn't waste any time or take any unnessary breaks on a very hot day. They knew what they were doing and how to pack a truck without any damage to our belongings. They were able to move all of our furniture without any damage or dings.

This was our third move using ABC Quality moving. As before, everything went perfectly. They were on time both days. The four-man team that moved us was very hard-working, very careful with our stuff, and courteous. Nothing was damaged. We elected to move some things ourselves and they helped us load and unload our vehicle. We unhesitatingly recommend them to others.
