XTREME TREE TEAM

We found Pete on Angie's List and called. He came to our house, provided an estimate and completed the job within a week. All of the branches and debris were completely cleaned up. Srumps were trimmed close to the ground. There were a few trees we had marked to remove ourselves but Pete said he had a little extra time and took them out for us at no extra charge. The price was about a third that of a "name" tree serviec and the work was excellent. We will definitely use Xtreme Tree Team again.

I called Xtreme Tree Team on a Sunday, and Pete was able to come and give me a quote the next day. He arrived when he said he would, and was able to give me a quote on the spot. The price was fair for the amount of work included. I had received one other quote, and it was slightly higher and included less of the tree removal. When Pete and his team came out to do the work, he was very professional, and told me I was welcome to watch how things were going. He noticed a large branch on another tree hanging over the garage, and removed it at no additional charge. They did a great job cleaning up, plus managed to work around plenty of obstacles with no damage to anything (other young trees, shed, fence, and garage.) I would readily hire them again for any other tree work.

That turned out excellent! they were very professional and did it quickly. They cleaned up well and returned my calls quickly. They also went above an beyond and did extra things, not included in the contract, without charging. They were very competitive in terms of price.

Pete also reviewed my birch tree and was very honest with and said it may not survive, but he did trim some of the worst part of the tree to give it a fighting chance at my request. Next time I need tree care, I will be calling Xtreme Tree Team.

I called Pete for an estimate and he showed up within a week to do that. The removal was the following week since he had another job in the area. Pete and his crew were great! They removed an elm tree from my backyard that was very close to my house. It hung over the roof so it was not something I was willing to do myself. They removed the debris (I did not have them do the stump grinding) and I couldn't be happier. I would use them again. My brother had Pete and his crew come out the following week and had a good experience, too.

They were the best price of 3 different quotes. They didn't need a claim. They did a great job. It was bigger than they thought and they were troopers about it. They cleaned up everything. We were real happy with them. They were also the quickest ones to be able to do the job. We would absolutely use them again.

After reviewing Angie's List for several companies providing tree services, I called Pete Strand of Xtreme Tree Team on Friday about the tree work that I needed and asked for an estimate. Pete came out Saturday morning to give me an estimate. I also got two other estimates and decided to use Xtreme Tree based on the price and responisiveness. I scheduled a date on the following Tuesday for Pete and his crew to complete the work. they arrived promptly at 8 AM and began cutting the trees. They were professional, easy to work with, and very helpful carrying the cut branches and trees into the woods in my backyard. the price was reasonable and completed as agreed on the estimate. I would recommend Pete and Xtreme Tree for tree and stump removal services. He is responsive, does work on time and on his estimate. I would use them again.

Can't say enough good things about Pete and his team. From the start, Pete was very prompt (within two days) coming to our house to look at the project and giving us a bid. Once we received the bid from Pete, we decided to add two additional trees to be removed. Pete was prompt in amending the bid. The team arrived at 8:30am as Pete had said they would the following day. ALL of the work was completed in one day!! All 4 men worked their tails off from start to finish. All clean up of the trees, branches, twigs, etc was done thoroughly as promised in the bid. All of the stumps were ground as promised and all debris removed. We were very impressed with the professionalism of Pete and his team. This was one of the best experiences we've had in hiring a "contractor" for a project at our house. We would highly recommend them to others.

I live in Miami, but have a house in St. Paul that I rent out, so I rely heavily on Angie's list. Per my tenant's, the trees needed cutting back, so I contacted three seperate tree services on Angie's List. Pete/Xtreme Trees Team was the most prompt to return my call and that's important when I'm dealing with service workers from a long distance. I ended up getting two other quotes, one higher and the other lower, but both company representatives did not present themselves as professional as Pete/Xtreme, so I went with him and I'm glad I did. *I'm sorry that my tenants pestered Pete, but I was 1,300 miles away and couldn't stop them. Pete did the work we agreed up in a timely fashion and it was a win-win for all of us. Thank you ANGIE'S LIST for being there to make the referral.

He said he would try to make it over the weekend. He was very busy and didn't make it because of the heat and they were working long hours. His name is Pete. He came right away on Monday morning and checked it out, he said it looked okay but he would watch it. He's done a lot of work for me over the last 5 years. I know they are busy, we've had to leave messages and it takes about a week to get a call back. After the lightning hit the tree we wanted to know if the tree was okay and he came early Monday morning before the storm hit and we were very appreciative of that. We also had them take all the lilacs and cut them down to 6-8 inches off the ground so I could stain the wooden fence behind it. They did an excellent job. Everyone else I have called has been a lot higher, he gives me a great deal.

Job went very smoothly. Pete knew just what I wanted and did it exactly as agreed upon. I would not hesitate to use Xtreme Tree Team again!

Pete and his team arrived as expected and worked all day - and it was HOT out. Removed a very big ash tree that was way too close to the house. They also consulted on which evergreen trees ought to be removed and took out a bunch of them. Stumps were ground and several other trees were trimmed. The big mess was beautifully cleaned up. We're very pleased with the results.

Excellent. Did exactly what I wanted...and did it really well. Cleaned up all brances etc after. Was surprised at how thorough they were. Will certainly call them again!

No hassles. I've called Pete before for another service in a prior year and was pleased then as well. Within a couple of days of the initial call he had an estimate for me and told me he'd be in the area with another job in a couple of days and would work on mine then. When I arrived home that day from work the hedges were trimmed to satisfaction and no debris was left in the yard. Wonderful.

It was a busy time for Pete, so I had to wait a few weeks to get the tree taken out, but no big deal. I had three bids and Pete was by about 30% lower than the highest and cheaper than all. I wasn't here during the day when he and the team removed it. Everything was cleaned up 99% and he even replaced the cyclone fence that I had to take down so he could access the back year. Nice job Pete! Used Angies List discount too.

Pete and his crew were respectful to the property. Pete was very conscientious about his work and repeatedly confirmed what I wanted done throughout the two day process.I was very pleased with the project from start to finish. Pete promised and delivered great work. I plan to use him again.

Called a few days after storm - there was no great hurry. Pete called back and we arranged for Monday morning job. Arrived as expected and got to work. I left during the activity, which was all completed as we discussed when I got home. Very satisfied. I expect the Xtreme Tree Team will hear from me again with more work to do.

I had left a message on Friday, they called back Saturday, came to look at it Sunday morning, and did the work on Sunday afternoon. They had all the needed equipment, and did the job very efficiently. They pulled the stump, left the wood pile, and cleaned up completely. What more could I ask? I thought the price was very reasonable.

Buckthorn is such a persistent problem. It was first cut, then as many roots as possible were pulled and disposed of. Last came a spray, to further discourage growth. I'm hopeful that this will keep things under control. Whatever you do, don't just cut it! Another tree service did that to me, and the seedlings appeared everywhere!.

Very well. Tree taken down with no damage to yard or street. Stump removed same day. Return trip for cleanup.

City of St Paul marked two diseased Dutch Elm trees for removal. Xtreme Tree responded promptly to my request for a bid and we discussed a date when the job needed to be completed. They arrived promptly when they said they would and completed the job in a very timely and professional manor. I was very pleased with the original job so I asked for bid on the Birch tree that I wanted trimed.They were able to trim the Birch tree the same day and clean up after themselves on that also. I highly recommend them

From first to last they were professional and courteous. The quote came back about the same as some others, but he was able to do the work sooner than the others. The team showed up promptly at the scheduled time and got right to work. They were extremely efficient and had it all completed within an hour and a half including cleanup. I did not ask for stump grinding and I wanted the tree in the back to be taken down and left for firewood. They cut it into convenient 16-18 inch rounds and piled it out of the way. I will absolutely call these guys again when I need more tree work done.

They came within a couple of days and bid, then returned the following week to remove the trees. I had two other bids, one was slightly above Xtreme's and the other was about double what they bid. They did a good job and cleaned up the debris and were careful of my property. I would be happy to have them work on my property again.
