The service turned out okay. They came out within a week. They were punctual, they made an appointment to come, they showed up on time, and did the work that was requested. They cleaned up everything, and did a nice job.

I asked for trimming of a crab apple tree, but because of an Angie's List special they also included trimming my maple tree and shaped my lilac bush. I received great value for my tree trimming and all tree waste was cleaned up as they trimmed! Excellent service!

It went very well. The guys were extremely nice and hardworking. They did a very nice job.

You guys did just what I asked of you. I put the jobs in order, clean up all the leaves from under all bushes and off the lawn and everywhere, then get trim the bush if you have time. It ended up that the bush was dead, and you told me that and then cut it completely down.

Went well- they arrived as scheduled and worked hard & fast for ~ 2 hours - they cleaned up about 4 very large tarps worth of leaves, etc. - they were courteous and we would use them again

They were very friendly and helpful in scheduling a delivery time. I ordered 3 cubic yards but it was the end of the day and there were more like 4 cubic yards on his truck and he asked if he could deliver it on his way back to their business location, so we ended up with a little extra! He was great about putting it on the side of the driveway and not blocking our access to the garage or extra parking for our car. Anything that wasn't on the pile was swept up and he left things very tidy. The mulch looks great in our garden - thanks!

Jacob was always responsive to my emails but I found that promises were not kept. We have a steep driveway and leave early in the morning and it was never plowed before we left leaving snow to pack down on the drive and stay for the entire winter. He was not timely and in one case I could not get my SUV up my driveway because they hadn't arrived. I guess our idea of reasonable amount of time is different. He seemed to think that I had no right to complain that he didn't live up to his word and said "maybe we are not a good fit." I only expect what I have paid for and been promised and will not use him again. He seems like a nice guy but not as proactive in trying to keep customers as I would have hoped.

The service was good. They sent out two workers who worked for two hours. They trimmed some trees and weeded a rock garden.

The crew was on time and did a wonderful job. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I plan on using them again.

I recently wrote a review giving this company excellent reviews. That was before April 28, 2014 when we had another snowfall. This provider's contract with me stated that he would plow my driveway from November 1, 2013 through May 30, 2014, whenever there were 2" or more of snow as determined by the weather bureau in Chanhassen. With the last snow fall, I checked the Weather bureau and have the printout saying there was 2.1" of snow for that date. I waited until the afternoon and then e-mailed the owner asking when they would be coming to plow. I received an answer from him saying they had checked the snow depth on their route and determined there was less than 2" of snow and, that snow would melt off by the afternoon. They did not plow my driveway. The company never told me they checked with the weather bureau but did say they checked along their route and, had they actually come out and checked my driveway, they would have seen that my driveway is positioned such that it does melt at the very bottom but not at the top. Snow left on the top lets water run down and then re-freezes. Also, the driveway from my driveway to my house does not melt, (this is one of the things this company does). My wife hired this company because I have a very bad back. When I do the shoveling, I suffer for days so this was a nice present except, it turned out that it was not. We had to shovel the remainder of the snow and ice from the driveway and certainly had to shovel the walk. Also, I had referred a friend who hired this company and my friend informed me that this company failed to shovel his driveway on two occasions. While I would have recommended this company before, I would not recommend them now. Furthermore, they offer tree services and, while I need tree work done, I will not be calling them. I feel they failed to live up to the terms and conditio

They showed up ontime, were friendly and courteous. Did what they said they would and were very detailed in accomplishing the work. Good job of clean up. I'd definitiely use them again.

Jacob was clear about the pricing on the phone. He fit me into his schedule quickly during a very busy time. He actually did the job himself with another crew person, but mid-way through they realized that the blowers they had weren't up to the job. He held his end of the bargain and rescheduled the rest of the work for an agreed upon date. His team came back and cleared the rest of it away. Our yard looks amazing as they were very detailed. We will definitely work with them again in the future.

Jacob was great to work with. He was clear about the pricing and his crew arrived on time. He also fit me in his schedule quickly during a very busy time. He had some problems with his blowers the first morning, but he came back a week later (a time we both agreed on) and took care of the rest of the yard. Both my wife and I are incredibly pleased at how thorough the work they did was and we will definitely be using them again next year.

I had used Jacob for tree trimming last year, so was excited to use them for a Big Deal this spring when I needed to get rid of some really overgrown evergreen shrubbery and a couple of small dead shrubs. Scheduling was easy -- first I contacted Jacob through Angie's List email, and then he called me. On the day that they had originally scheduled to do the work, they had a technical issue with one truck, but called promptly that morning to reschedule to the next afternoon. My schedule was flexible, so this worked out just fine. Ryan and another young man arrived on time on the scheduled day. I showed them the work I wanted done, and we discussed that the shrubbery removal would take up the entire time that I had purchased with the "Big Deal." They needed to check their equipment, and unfortunately they did not have an ax for the stump removal. All of the shrubbery was cut down and as they got into the stump removal, it was apparent that an ax would be needed. I do not own one (but every homeowner should have one, lol), so I walked to the local hardware store and purchased one for them to use. They didn't ask me to do this --- I offered and it was no trouble. They dug out around the stumps and tried valiantly to remove them. With some time remaining on my "Big Deal" hours, we put our heads together and came up with another plan: They would cut as far down with their chainsaw as they could, rake out the leaves and dead branches and trimmings. Normally they would charge over $100 for a load of yard waste, but they gave that to me for free because they could not get the stumps out. That was fine with me. I could have called Jacob and scheduled another time for them to take the stumps out, but a friend was able to saw them out below ground level, and so I didn't need that. I liked the guys, they were very polite and worked REALLY hard. They raked and blew the mess made from cutting down the shrubs, and I am very happy to have those overgrown evergreens GONE!

It was great, ten out of ten. Their cleanup and service was good. It was my first time using them, but the price was reasonable.

I am between a 'C' and a 'D' for this review. If there was as 'C-' that is what I would use...We used Jacob and Pine Ridge LLC for yard and tree service in the past. Jacob is VERY professional and the yard work and tree service was excellent. We expected this in the snow removal which is why I was quick to sign up with Pine Ridge for the recent season (Oct. 2013 - April 2014). It was not a good experience at all. The price was great, the quality was average sometimes but most of the time not god and other times only one run up driveway (the driveway requires at least two or three pushes to clear). It was a winter with a lot of snow and the crews were understandably busy, but on only ONE day the entire season was my driveway cleared before 9:00 AM. Some days it was just before noon. I had to shovel myself on several days to get my car out in the morning. The plus side is this - Jacob has THE BEST responsiveness. He answers his phone, calls back. However, this did not translate into improved outcomes. Jacob did say, 'call any time and we will come back and clear things up'. While helpful and responsive, I do not think I should need to call and manage the quality of snow removal when compared to other neighbors with snow removal from other companies there service was in my opinion and judgment (1) earlier and timely, (2) of higher quality. I have checked around and done some more due diligence on what is expected with this type of service and we will be selecting another company for snow removal next year. I would not use this snow removal review to compare with Pine Ridge tree and yard service which in my view is A+. There is just something not working in the snow removal department.

After being told they would look at it tues 4/29, they said they got busy and promised it first thing wed. After hearing nothing I called on fri 5/2 and was told they left me a quote via voice mail, which I never received. Finally on 5/5 I was told they had me confused with someone else and had not even looked at the tree. I contacted another provider and the job was completed in two days.

I bought a "Big Deal" through them, but I was out of their service area. They were professional and prompt in getting back to me about it and returned the money.

This turned out great! They cut down a pine tree. There was an extra cost based on the size of the tree. They did some extra things as well, which they didn’t have to. They trimmed up the dead branches on the other pines trees surrounding it.

After spending a great deal of time researching lawn service and tree service providers, I contact Pine Ridge with some basic questions on pricing. I received a response within an hour or so telling me that Eagan is outside their service area. This is disappointing as their website and Angie's list lists them as servicing Eagan (in multiple areas). Per the owner, the website is being updated, though I am not sure what areas they cover now. I just wish they would have updated the website and/or Angie's list prior to me spending time going through all of their detailed pricing information and reading reviews.

Pine Ridge Mn LLC showed up within the window they quoted and performed the trimming services I requested. The guys were easy to talk to and listened to what I wanted. They cleaned up afterward and everything was as hoped for.

Very quick response for intial setup. Very friendly. Bought a deal through Angie's List. They do not guarantee a specific time that they will have your driveway plowed by but I knew this when I purchased. Only negative is I thought they would clear the sidewalks for the additional $50 but it appears they just clear the front door entrance area. I would recommend them to anyone that does not have an urgent need to be able to get out of their driveway daily by a set time (such as for work).

The two workers worked as slow as possible looking up at the sky as they maneuvered there blowers for a fall clean up. There were no rakes or picking up of leaves and before they were even up to two hours they were packing up there blowers with leaves all over the ground. What they also don't tell you till they are standing there is that this does not include taking away the leaves, you have to pay extra for that. So i did, and do you know they left a 10 yard strip of leaves in the middle of my grass anyway? I called the owner to complain. and he did come back to get some of it, but still did not finish. I have landscaping projects I would like to get done, but if someone does not have the integrity to clean up my yard, then I wouldn't trust them with a bigger job.
