I phoned the nearest Pella office and told them that I had their high end Patio Door and windows/triple pane with the blinds inside. The sliding screen panel on the Patio Door has a small tear in it. I have removed many sliding screen doors in my life ( I am 75 ) but the Pella is a different system and that I did not want to wreck it. I have the video on uTube, but it might as well be Greek to me. My age and health have unfortunately diminished my handyman skills. The person I talked to said they could send a service man out for $129.00 to look at it. I am looking at it right now for FREE! I explained my situation and that I couldn't afford that much money? They said they were sorry. What the **** happened to helping people in this country? I'll pay my way, but that is ridiculous. I wish I was going to be around when they get old and need help. Bugger em!
