Anderson Vacuum Inc

Owner repaired same vacuum 2 yrs. in a row. Both times stated certain filters weren't available. I had asked him to replace them, not clean them. The second time I asked why he told me the same thing 2 yrs. in a row. He had nothing to say except he would check on it. Never heard from him. Previously, owner sold me vacuum that was no longer manufactured but didn't tell me. I discovered it almost 2 yrs. later when taking vacuum to another shop.

Anderson took the vac and listened to my tale of woe. They shipped the vac to the manufacturer and had it back to me in 3 weeks. The verdict: The manufacturer knew the motor electrics had to be upgraded but had neglected to pass along the info. THEY replaced/installed everything needed, free of charge. And my vac is now 13 and going strong. The folks at Anderson are real people, they listen, they try to understand the problem before you leave and they are good consumer advocates. If I need my vacuum fixed, I trust the shop that knows how vacs work.

Worth the drive! I bought our Hoover vacuum cleaner according to ConsumerReports recommendation, but was disappointed that the internal plastic parts became brittle so quickly (very low-quality plastics used in the manufacturing). Anderson explained that by replacing the broken internal parts and belts, the suction would be restored (it was) and the vac. Could last another 5yrs or so. Rarely have I been so content w service. I am helping save the environment AND saving $$! They have a hard time keeping their store dusted, but far worth the inconvenience.

They are a great little shop. I came in with my vacuum not working and they fixed it on the spot! I have two little kids and needed my vacuum fixed right away and they were great about fixing it right then and there. They are very cheap in price and great service. I will always take my vacuum there and recomend them to everyone.

Mr. Anderson was extremely nice. The work took some time to complete, but he informed me of that from the begining. The work was comleted when promised. Not only did he do good work for a reasonable price but he showed me some things that I can do to avoid future problems.

THIS IS A SMALL SHOP AND EASY TO MISS AS YOU WHIZZ DOWN ROBERT ST. THE RED VACUUM OUTSIDE HELPS. MY R2 WAS FIXED QUICKLY AND PURRED LIKE NEW WHEN I PICKED IT UP. IT HAD EVEN BEEN ROAD-TESTED. (A GOOD THING, AS I HAVE 3 CATS). THE MOTOR CONTACTS BLEW OUT AGAIN 2 WEEKS AGO AND THE SHOP DID NOT CHARGE ME TO FIX IT. APPARENTLY MY VAC IS THE SENSITIVE TYPE.
