Looked on Angie's List for "handy man" to replace the railing around our stairs. Sent a message to Stephan at 9:00 at night and he responded back within 10 minutes! Unfortunately, he's not equipped to do the project we're looking at, but am very impressed with his quick reply.

He was phenomenal, very competent, knowledgeable, hard working and extremely supportive. I jumped in to get some of the tree work accomplished (he showed me how and we only had so much time to accomplish all tasks) and he directed me on how to do the work (so exciting to be shown how to proceed) but when we hit a snag, he became very creative and persistent. Stephen is THE most competent, skilled worker I have met. He is good with people also, and does not get thrown when some new element arises (I could not find the leveling part for the air conditioner for a while) but seems to steadily work at what is needed. He was capable no matter what was required, and he is strong and willing to work hard. I was amazed at his presence, which was focused and aware. He was a real pleasure to work with and I would call him no matter the task as he seems very capable with a creative IQ that can figure things out quickly regardless. This is not an ordinary person who comes to work, but a rare, capable, creative, quick study. His work not only made my day but probably my week as well.

Stephen is exceptional! He comes prepared with all of his tools. We hired Stephen for 2 days. He arrived right on time. We reviewed what jobs we wanted him to do that day. After we reviewed the projects he went right to work. He is meticulous. We had a large project for him in our garage. He added many shelves for extra storage. We purchased the supplies we thought he needed for the project and Stephen went above and beyond my expectations. He used every piece of shelving so we got the most storage out of our garage, he had his own electric saw and used it to cut the shelves with percision. That was so impressive. He added floor to ceiling shelves too. He hung up a baby swing and made sure it worked for my kids, he had me come out with one of my kids and try it. That is going above and beyond again. He hung up another swing and had me try it out too! He did other jobs around our house those days and we are very statisifed with his work.
We have hired him in the past a few times and he did an outstanding job then too! I would highly recommend Stephen. He is very talented and can fix anything!

I spoke with Steven on a Sunday night. He offered to go to my rental townhouse the very next day. He went there and did the work, sent me pictures of the work done and I sent him money via Paypal. I live 40 miles away from this property and he made it so very easy for me. His prices are very reasonable and he was so easy to work with.

We were very pleased with the work Stephen did for us in October/November 2015. Both projects involved working in an older building but Stephen was able to handle the unknowns involved without a problem. We greatly appreciated the excellent quality of his work and his commitment to getting the job done. It was necessary to return a second time to install the lockset but Stephen came back and did it free of charge. We were very impressed and would highly recommend him for whatever job you may have. He clearly has a lot of experience and his clients greatly benefit from his ability to handle whatever comes up. We would not hesitate to hire him again in the future. He does a great job.

Mr. Granger did a fine job, for a very reasonable price. It involved filling the two holes made by a woodpecker and covering the damage with flashing and putty, then re-painting. I rented a 36' ladder since his was not tall enough.

"The member was unfamiliar with the existing electrical service that the IKEA medicine cabinets were going to cover up. The box would have to be moved, it had armored cable conduit, drywall would have to be removed, replaced and painted before installing the cabinets to install a second junction box over the second cabinet. This type of electrical work requires a licensed electrician to do the job---not a handyperson. Since it involves changing pre-existing wiring, the new work would have to be inspected to code, so the job requires a permit, as well. The job was simply beyond the member's understanding of electrical codes. They bought cabinets that were too tall for the existing wiring. That started it all."
