They did the work we discussed in a timely fashion at the price quoted.

They suggested additional services, which we took advantage of. They were timely, thorough, and clear about everything they were going to do. They wrapped up the pruning, hauled everything away, and did an excellent job raking up what was left behind. I would definitely hire them again.

They did a good, thorough, and professional job. They were about 40 min late of what they had said, but did quality work when they were here. I couldn't do all the trees I wanted to do due to the cost of the trimming, but I did get the main trees I needed done. I would hire again.

They never indicated when they were coming. Just showed up. The clean-up was only fair at best and they missed at least one branch that needed trimming.

As an experienced general contractor who's taken down dozens of trees building homes, I know an outrageous and arbitrary bid when I see one. Today they came to take down a spindle Elm and wanted $1300+. I asked the crew boss how long it'd take and he said two hours. $1300 for 6 man hours? Last year I paid this same Company $500 for a three man crew to take down a fully leafed out Maple. The difference is last year I dealt directly with the owner, who knew me as a contractor. Today I got a crew boss who obviously sized up my wallet, not the job. A tree service company willing to price gauge is also a tree service company that can't be trusted to do quality work and give sound advice. As for these "deals", I'm done buying them. It's not a "deal" if the service provider uses it as an opportunity to overcharge. Meanwhile I just got a bids from two other A rated tree services, one for $650, the other for $700.

We have been very satisfied with their services. They are really helpful, reasonable in their suggestions and charges, come when they say there are going to come, and we really enjoyed working with them. We are planning on calling them back this year.

They had to bring in special equipment to deal with a tree that was leaning towards our house.

They were very knowledgeable, and gave a very professional consolation before beginning. After they were finished the cleared away all debris.

I would strongly suggest not buying deal from them. Its an eye wash. They don't want to honor the discount and actually they do discount work for discount price. Quality is alright I guess, but as a company they are not passionate about their job, neither of their profession and don't care for customer. Very adhoc pricing. Sales rep was a little pushy and over the top. My another complaint is that they left without a thorough cleaning and even toppled some landscaping rocks that were around the tree.

Turned into $3200 worth of 3 trees coming down & debris removal. He told us his deal/ price with each tree added on, but was also talking about other trees we should have work done on. I asked for an itemized bill & he wasn't able to provide that for the work done. They worked hard & quickly, were done with everything in just over 2 hours. They took leaf blowers & cleaned up the yard, sidewalk & steps, "looked like it never even happened" except for the stumps. Too cold to do them now.

If this is what $400 worth of work looks like......Yikes! Did very little in my opinion for $400!

After a cordial visit to assess the scope of the work it was very difficult to get the company to respond to get the actual work scheduled. Once, when a voicemail was responded to, I was told that ours was a "small" job and they would have to find time to "work it in". Finally, after waiting nearly 3 months for the work to be done I was successful in having a phone call answered by a person, set a date and time and the work was completed within one week. The quality of the work and clean up were mostly satisfactory. It was disappointing that some dead branches were higher than could be reached by the hand held extended reach chain saw, as they were branches that we specifically wanted removed. Having used other tree trimmers in the past I was accustomed to them coming with a bucket to reach such branches. I, incorrectly, had assumed that Arbor Tech would also bring such equipment as well.

All in all I was pleased and have already referred them to a colleague at work, and got quote for a neighbor. At the end of a long day, there was a misunderstanding that had to be clarified with their boss. Once cleared, the last task was completed by the crew.

This was a terrible experience all around. The sales guy wasn't my favorite, but I didn't have another day to be home for a competitor to come out. Trimming was sub-par, stumps were not ground, we were not given warning when they would be there (as we were promised), left with HUGE logs that we were told would be fire pit size, still have some branches nearly touching the house/roof (originally reason we called tree trimmer)...I could go on and on. And the worst, our beautiful wood fence was completely ruined by a careless employee when they came back on a separate day to remove a tree bordering our property but technically the neighbors. Even if it is fixed, the wood will not match the aged wood of the remaining part and we will have had an entire winter with a huge piece of plywood covering the gaping hole. I will give a more complete review once this is all said and done, but I want to warn folks (because they received glowing reviews when I originally looked) that you should be very careful about using this company.

The work generally went well. The crew showed up on the date and time promised and performed all of the work agreed to. I found the quality of work to be very good and the crew was careful not to damage any structures or other trees on the property. Clean up was very good and no debris was left. My only complaint was that I did not get any written estimate prior to the date of work. I insisted that I receive a written estimate (hopefully matching the verbal quote I had received earlier) before allowing the crew to start. I received the estimate, found all to be fine, and allowed the work to begin.

It was fine. It was a little pricier than I thought it would be. They came out the middle of October to give me an estimate, and came later to do the actual the trimming and the lumber. It was an additional $900 to the $199.

With purchased angies list coupon, job was done for $300.00 less than other bids. Job well done & especially liked the cleanup afterwards.

Due to the short time of available daylight, it was a five man crew showing up instead of the three advertised in the offer, otherwise the 21h worth of work would not have been possible. Precise work, fast and nicely organized. There was very little damage, but this was more my fault because I did not get things out of the way, definitely not their fault. Considering some of the branches/trunks being 18-20 inch in diameter requiring heavy lifting in a sloped backyard, it was quite a task, well performed. I would definitely hire them again.

The Arbor-Tech team got that job done perfectly, with great clean-up in a little over 4 hours. We will definitely use them again...next time for landscaping.
