TIRES PLUS-MIDAY

They were really busy that day. It was bad weather and lots of folks coming in. They stayed open extra long to try and get as many customers taken care of. They gave me an estimate of when it would be done so I could go home and eat and come back. I think I picked the car up at about 9pm.

I have always had good experiences at my local Tires Plus. They squeezed me in, even though they were really busy. I had tried to replace the bulb myself, but it's a beast to get to (and it was cold). As usual, they did good work and charged a reasonable price.

I spent around $19.99 on that work. I am pretty pleased with them. They are very helpful, answer my questions patiently and do extra things like have my tires checked anytime. They are pretty good about making appointments and getting me in fast if I have an issue or a problem.

The staff was very polite and courteous, and they made very good suggestions about what services were necessary. They were also quick.

Everything went well. They do good work, and I trust them.

They were willing to try to correct their initial mistake, but were unable to balance wheels successfully.

I've had this business replace my tires and my headlight on my car. The headlight project was wonderful but the tire work was an awful experience. I finally found another place to use because I was so unsatisfied.

It was quick - about 1.5 hours. Service was fine. Price was very high (more than twice what the dealer quoted me). I had no choice since I didn't have time to get to the dealer on Saturday.

Went in to get 4 new tires and the ended up doing service on the wheel bearing. It was legitimate work, but I felt overcharged. Their warranty is very good.

HORRIBLE! I chose this shop because I wanted to save money and they were highly recommended on this list. I should have gone with my old reliable shop that I thought was a bit too expensive. The manager of this shop talked in circles about all of the things that were "wrong" with my car- a classic case of trying to sell you more stuff. I went in for a brake job, quoted at about $200, and when all is said and done, I'll be paying $750, because supposedly the knuckle on the brake caliper broke. And I'm only having a couple of the things they recommended done! To add insult to injury, they are needing to keep the car an extra day. I am livid and I will never, ever use this shop again.

THE WORK WAS FREE UNDER THE SALES CONTRACT WE GOT WHEN WE HAD THEM PUT TIRES ON OUR CAR. IN THE PAST THEY HAVE ALSO REPAIRED A TIRE FOR US. THEY SEEM MORE HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, AND CAREFUL THAN TWO OTHER TIRES PLUS LOCATIONS WE'VE DEALT WITH.

I'VE HAD MY CAR TO THEM SEVERAL TIMES FOR OIL CHANGES AND OTHER WORK SUCH AS A MUFFLER REPLACEMENT. THEY USUALLY ARE ABLE TO GET YOU IN WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT (AT LEAST FOR AN OIL CHANGE) IF YOU GET THERE EARLY ENOUGH ON A SATURDAY MORNING AND THEY ALSO HAVE SUNDAY HOURS. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WHERE THEY TRY TO SCARE YOU INTO HAVING WORK THAT YOU DON'T REALLY NEED DONE. THEY ALSO FREQUENTLY RUN COUPONS IN THE SUNDAY PAPER AND GIVE YOU COUPONS WITH YOUR PAPERWORK UPON COMPLETION OF A JOB. ANOTHER NICE FEATURE IS THAT TIRE ROTATION IS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE OIL CHANGE. THEY ALSO DO AN INSPECTION CHECK AND WILL RECOMMEND WORK THAT COULD BE DONE (SUCH AS REPLACING COOLANT AND WASHER FLUID) WITHOUT A BIG SELL JOB.

I FIRST WENT TO TIRES PLUS BECAUSE I GOT A FLAT TIRE ON A SUNDAY AND THEY WERE NEARBY, AND OPEN. THEY DID NOT TRY TO OVERSELL ME ON ANYTHING AND DID THE WORK PRETTY QUICKLY. WHILE I WAS THERE THEY ASKED ME IF I HAD NOTICED ANY UNUSUAL NOISE (WHICH I HAD), AND MENTIONED THAT MY RIGHT REAR WHEEL BEARING WAS READY TO GO. A COUPLE OF MONTHS EARLIER I HAD ASKED THE DEALERSHIP TO CHECK ON THE LOUD NOISE, AND THEY SAID THEY HAD ''FOUND NOTHING UNUSUAL''. I THOUGHT IT WAS INTERESTING THAT TIRES PLUS HAD LOCATED THE PROBLEM WHEN THE DEALERSHIP DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. I HAD TIRES PLUS REPLACE THE WHEEL BEARING BECAUSE THE DEALER WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME A LOT MORE TO DO THE SAME JOB, WITH THE SAME PARTS. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THEY DIDN'T SECURE THE HUB CAP BACK ON WELL ENOUGH, BECAUSE I LOST IT ON THE WAY HOME.
