REGINA VACUUM SERVICE CO

Dropped off a Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner to have the motorized head repaired. When I returned in two weeks to pick it up, it had not been repaired yet, so they repaired it while I waited.

My 25 year old canister vacuum cleaner was not working properly, so I dropped it off at their shop for repair. I picked it up a week later and they had replaced the carbon motor brushes. After I brought it home it still was not working properly, so I took it back and we had a more lengthy discussion about the symptoms and what the solution might be. I picked it up a week later and they had replaced the motor bearings and the wiring harness. It has worked great since then.

We had broken a piece on the bottom of our vacuum power-head. I ordered the part from Sears thinking I could easily replace the bottom panel myself. Upon opening up the power-head I realized that this would be much more of a job than I had expected. That bottom plate was the main chassis for the entire power-head and all of the guts were mounted on it. I took it down to Regina Vacuum, walked in the door, was greeted by a wonderful pair of beautiful dogs (very, very mellow) and Matt, who was working on a vacuum at the time and said, and quot;hiand quot;. I told him my story and he said, and quot;Do you have a few minutes?and quot; I said, and quot;sure!and quot;. As I waited, he took my power-head apart, mounted all the the pieces into the new bottom plate I had brought with me, and reassembled the head completely. Then he wrote me an invoice for $9.95. Wow! First of all, I was planning on having to drop it off and pick it up another day and 2nd, I was very pleased with the cost of the labor. Bottom line? Let these guys fix your vacuum. They do great work at a very fair price.

I called REGINA staff first before bringing in the machine. Jon was very knowledgeable; shared information on vacuum brands and typical issues. His team figured out our problem and fixed it.

The entire experience was positive. I called to verify hours and the fact that they would work on Dyson products. The person who answered was wonderfully helpful, including precise instructions as to how to get to their parking area since the street in front no longer has parking available. When I brought the equipment in I received a very friendly greeting from the employees (and, from a very friendly dog). The work was completed almost to the day predicted. They called as they said they would AND the cost was $20.00 less than I thought it would be. I was very impressed.

The work was very well done, and John cleaned all our vacuum's filters for free. No one called to let us know when the vacuum was ready to be picked up, and it was a day later than originally estimated.

I brought the unit in over lunch... he looked it over on the spot and quickly determined what I needed. He offered to fix it while I waited, but I decided to pick it up at the end of the day. I did so, and the unit was ready and now works great. In addition to fixing it, he cleaned the unit up.

Seemed very trustworthy.

My Dyson was no longer working. I explained to the people at Regina that I have two cats and a toddler. They gave me a loaner vacuum to use while they repaired mine. Once repaired, everything they did was explained to me in detail and I was given tips on how to test if my vacuum is working to full capacity as well. They also helped load and unload my vacuum and the loaner in and out of car - very helpful.

I called a couple places to see if they had the part I needed. A1 Vaccuum told me they could get the part for $10.50 and install it for free. Then I talked to John at Regina, who was very nice and helpful. He said that he could look at it and perhaps replace the part with a different part that would work better, for around $25. When I brought it in, he wasn't there, so the woman there said that she'd have him give me a call when he got back. She also had the filters that I needed for another one of our vaccuums, and blew out the main filter on that vaccuum for me for free. I really appreciated that service. John never called, I had to call him a couple days later. I stopped in to talk to him about it, and he told me that the part he suggested would have been more like $35. I said to just replace the broken part. The final bill for that was $15 plus tax. The bill wasn't itemized, and I never asked how much just the part cost, but he had told me on the phone that he'd install it for free. So I left thinking that he charged me a few dollars to install it. He was nice and professional, but next time I will ask for an itemized bill.

Everything is going great so far with two visits to the store. John helped with a plan that will make the installation through the next two months easy. The length of time is only controlled by the remodeling of the home. I feel confident that the equiplment, the design and the installation will be correct and effective.

We moved into a new house several months ago and I sensed that the central vacuum wasn't working properly and it was on my list to fix. Last week it just stopped working so I checked Angie's List and called a few places but was most impressed with this company. I was able to talk to a live person instead of leaving a message. She helped me figure out what might be going on and understood my urgency to get it fixed (I love to vacuum). She scheduled an appt. for the owner to come the next morning and he fixed the problem and cleaned the system within an hour. This company is top notch and I would recommend to everyone!!!!!

I dropped off the vacuum on Monday and was assured it would be ready before Friday. I did not hear anything by Tuesday the following week so I called. I was told it would probably be ready that evening. I picked up Wednesday after receiving a voicemail at home, indicating the repair was complete. The work they did was fine, but I didn't like wondering when it would be ready.

I had so much trouble with a previous dealer for almost a year and was very discouraged. Fortunately, I was able to finally get my money back and sought out someone I could trust. John came HIGHLY recommended. He was very professional and knowledgeable and very easy to deal with. He and Paul arrived promptly at 8 am and worked very hard, running most of the time, to get the job done by 3 pm. They did a great job in installing the product throughout the house. I am very pleased with the work that was done.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, PROMPT, COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT.

JOHN, THE OWNER, GAVE US THE ESTIMATE AND ALSO INSTALLED THE SYSTEM. THE COST WAS EXACTLY WHAT THE ESTIMATE WAS. HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY. HE CLEANED EVERYTHING UP AS HE WENT AND LEFT EVERYTHING VERY NEAT. HE CAREFULLY EXPLAINED HOW THE SYSTEM WORKED AND TOOK HIS TIME MAKING SURE I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING.

I PURCHASED A BEAM CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEM FROM THIS COMPANY (FOR DO-IT-MYSELF INSTALLATION.) I WAS UNSURE OF WHETHER I WOULD BE ABLE TO INSTALL THE SYSTEM MYSELF, BUT THE OWNER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND ENCOURAGING. HE SPENT A LOT OF TIME WITH ME, AND EVEN SPREAD OUT ALL OF THE LITTLE PIECES ON THE FLOOR AND SHOWED ME HOW EVERYTHING WOULD GO TOGETHER. IN THE END I WAS ABLE TO INSTALL IT MYSELF, BUT I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO WITHOUT THE GREAT HELP HE GAVE ME (AND SOME OF THE EXTRAS HE THREW IN AT NO CHARGE!). THIS IS A VERY SMALL, FAMILY OWNED COMPANY AND THE OWNER SEEMED TO TAKE A LOT OF PRIDE IN PROVIDING GOOD OLD FASHIONED, PERSONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK FOR OTHER SERVICES. THIS IS THE KIND OF LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS THAT YOU'LL FEEL HAPPY TO SUPPORT.
