"I take our reviews on Angie’s list very seriously, and now I’m convinced there are always two sides to the story. When you purchased the coupon it explicitly called out the area and time covered. When we met I explained in great detail what was covered, and there was no problem with you. I spent 6 hours on a site analysis, detailed landscape plan for the entire front yard of your house, a 3d drawing, and a detailed quote with all the plants call outs, and detailed material list. That is a complete set of plans to redo your front yard for $99. Try finding that deal anywhere for less than three times that cost. It sound like you had troubles with other coupons and you are dragging us into that dissatisfaction."

I can't stress enough how impressed I am with the service from Brian throughout the entire process of design, installation, and follow-up. Brian's enthusiasm and knowledge are apparent when you first meet and talk with him and pride in his work definitely shows in the end result.
I first met with Brian to discuss a landscaping design for the front of my home. He was very patient with my lack of know-how related to all things green or growing and worked with me to come up with a design that I really liked. I simply described what I would like to see in terms of color and low maintenance and he immediately had ideas of what would work. Within a couple of days, Brian sent me computer-rendered images showing details of the layout of the work to be done and the names of all the plants, trees, bushes, rock, etc... that would be used. He was always available and responsive to questions and changes that I had wanted to add into the mix at the last minute.
When it came time to do the work, Brian and his team were on time and finished the job on schedule. Brian was there both days with his crew and involved in the work. There was a bobcat needed to do some things and I had also (at the last minute) asked them to remove a 20' tree. It had rained after the first day of work so I expected there to be at least some mess left behind; however, once they were done I couldn't tell they had even been there with the exception of the new landscaping. Everything looked great and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Brian met with me again afterwards to go over the work that was done and how to maintain it.
I'll definitely be hiring Brian and his team to any further landscaping work at my home.

Brian was so helpful and good to work with. He understood what I wanted, drew an excellent plan for me to submit to our townhouse association, and as soon as it was approved, began work. Brian was wonderful to work with. He communicated with me about my wishes and also added his expertise where and when I needed it. He answered his phone when you called and gave you as much time as you needed. Before the project began he met with twice to go over all the details. Both days that they worked at my home he and I walked around the yard two or three times and talked about the plan for each area with always taking my ideas and any questions I had. This was great as I knew exactly how the process would go and what would be planted. They were at my home when they said they would be and worked hard each day. All the prep work was done carefully and everything was cleaned up beautifully. I would recommend them to everyone.

Brian was fantastic and returned my initial call immediately and scheduled a time to come do a bid.Even though we are near the end of the season in MN for landscapers, Brian said he is always open to the business and appreciates the call. We obtained 3 bids, and he was in the middle as far as price. Brian's communication and customer service and follow up was exceptional. He called ahead of time, and asked if they could come a day early. He and his crew showed up on time, always asked for feedback throughout the job to make sure we were happy. Rather than try and sell me a bunch of plantings, he had no issue with splitting up and utilizing some of my existing plants . I will also say, they moved rock and dirt up and down hills in wheelbarrows vs. Bobcat so as not to ruin our lawn. They cleaned up each evening and when they were done, washed off the sidewalks, watered the plants, and you would never know there had been dirt and rock moving around. They left our place cleaner than they found it.

My experience was no different that everyone else who works with Brian and the crew from Environment Designs-fantastic. Extremely responsive, punctual, great listener, solid designs, and most importantly, great follow up. Though I'm by no means in his backyard, he was always available to come over before and after the install. Will definitely call again for future landscaping projects.
Brian provides old school service, not seen often in the home improvement business. Totally dependable and trustworthy, making sure the customer is happy throughout the sales and install cycle.

It went great. Environmental Design was prompt, friendly, courteous and professional. He listened well and patiently in order to understand what I was wanting/needing to have done. He provided me with some landscape ideas/recommendations of what could be done; made suggestions of trees and bushes that would need to be taken out in a few years as they lived beyond maturity. I was not able to hire Environmental Design to do the landscaping work at this time as other priorites have come up. I definitely will callEnvironmental Design when I am ready for the landscaping work. He also provided names of a couple of resources to have things done that he was not able to accomplish as a landscaper. I really appreciated his expertise and suggestions.

The service went well. We did not use them for the actual project because they were pretty pricey. We ended up doing the project ourselves with some of their ideas. The owner came out for the design and got the design back to us in a timely manner. I had no problem scheduling the deal and they were easy to work with.
