They are honest, they don't overcharge, they do the work, you get it done and they charge you a fair price and they don't say, oh well we've found this and the other thing while we were doing this and while we were fixing this we found something else wrong. We've been going to them for years.

They made a thorough search of the vehicle and found a few things that needed work in the future, told me I could schedule appt. as needed and as to when I could afford it.
Oil Change was done quickly and easily. I have been using them for a long time-very happy with them.

They replaced all the bad parts and had the vehicle back to us by the end of the day.Pat and John are the best and the only people my wife will trust with her car.

M and J replaced a starter engine on my car. When they called, they said that our tires were bald on one side of the car. My tires are 3 years old and have only 10,000 miles on it so it was odd. When I came to pick up the car, they had replaced two of the tires with completely bald tires. It was ridiculous because my car suddenly had four different tires on it. When I asked the guy what happened to my tires, he said he didn't know and closed up the shop. I reported this event to the St. Paul Police department and plan to take them to court for the cost of the tires they took. I am very disappointed with M and J. One of my friends has been using them for years. I still don't understand why they did this. It is very strange.

I have been there many times and I think that they are absolutely wonderful. They are very personable and they even give you ride home. If they know you, they just do some little things for free. They are really good and I would recommend them. They are very reasonable.

The company gave me a fair estimate quickly, had the work completed on time, and even stayed open past hours when I was running late to pick up my vehicle.

Prompt, professional and reasonably priced. I've never had a problem with getting my car in to be seen within a day or two and it's ready when they say it will be. Great communication and decent prices. Not rock-bottom, but you feel like you're getting your money's worth for solid service. We have older cars that we're trying to keep going for a dew more years and they are great at helping to prioritize the nice from the necessary maintenance items. I was having a difficult time with picking up my Volvo because I kept having to work late and the shop closes at 5pm. The guys at Mand J called to see what was going on. They asked me where I lived (less than a mile away). I paid the bill over the phone - and one of the mechanics and his dad dropped the Volvo off at my house! No extra charge. I thought that was really above and beyond typical customer service.

I had a bad experience with another company, and M and J told me that the work recommended wasn't necessary. They're very honest. I've been going to them for several years and I'm very happy their service. They check everything and top off fluids if needed!
