Animal Boarding Kennels
My dog is very cautious, and it takes her a couple of hours to warm up. Although she is a medium size dog, she ended up in the small dog play group. The staff was very sensitive to her. They were able to tell me about her entire day, and even responded kindly when I called to check on her. They knew her by name after 4 hours!

They took care of my 3-legged golden retriever. He had a room to himself at night with a nice soft doggy bed and got to sit in the office with the staff during the day. He was well taken care of.

I was taking care of my niece's two dogs (mutts: border collie and lab mix) when I had a conflict and needed them boarded for a weekend. I had my niece drop them off and I picked them up. We used the one of Myrtle. Dog Days worked very well for us. We brought all their food, pillows, etc., and they cared for them. They have a large space for them to run around and socialize with other dogs. They had a private suite to sleep in. Pick up was easy. The staff was caring, even pointing out a scab that one of the dogs had on it's ear. We were aware of it, but it was nice that the staff was that attentive. The best part was that the dogs were pooped out when I picked them up so I didn't have to worry about taking them for a long walk or anything when we got back. I would use Dog Days again.

Dog Days is simply awesome! I've been taking my two Alaskan Malamutes to the Myrtle location for 5 years. I started with daycare but now as the dogs are older I use them only for boarding. The facility is always clean and the areas are plenty spacious for even the largest of breeds. I'm always amazed that the staff remembers the dogs by the correct name as soon as we walk in the door - no matter how long it's been since our last visit (and despite the fact our dogs look so alike even our friends mix them up).
The staff has adapted to their changing personalities and needs over time. One of our dogs guards her food from her sister so she needs a bit of extra space while eating. The other requires medication from time-to-time. I can always trust the staff to give that extra space so there are no incidents and to give the medication to the correct dog. I never worry about how they are doing - I know they are in good hands.
On top of that, the dogs love it! As soon as we hit that exit, the dogs start going nuts with excitement - the same reaction as a trip to the dog park :) They always come home plenty tired and usually start snoozing in the car on the way home - no small feat for a working breed!
I'd definitely recommend Dog Days for either dog daycare or boarding.

Duncan was thrilled to go in for just the multi-hour temperament test even though he's a tad to attached to us.
When we returned to leave him he busted into the dog area. He came back happy, exhausted for days, and gave no signs of illness or personality change --which can be a sign of poor treatment with dogs or caregivers.
HOWEVER, the first full day after his return he poddied inside. This was shocking to us, but we chalked it up to being in a large group of dogs and being exposed to poddieng inside. He quit this behavior for good after those two #1 accidents.
TIP: if you have a puppy or dog that still has inside accidents in your home or APT -- feed him and give his treats and put his mat all over the home. Dogs will only pee in their DEN if they are forced to because their signals are ignored for too long. The den is extended to the whole home with the diverse feeding areas. This is the case even if they are crate trained like ours.

Fantastic! I use dog days for dog day care and grooming and I've always been very satisfied. My dog has fear issues so I wasn't sure how she would adapt but everyone who works at dog days is trained with the techniques for approaching and handling dogs with these issues. In no time my dog was in love with the staff. One woman who works there also happens to work at my vet; my dog was always tense when going to the vet but when we walked in that day and she saw the woman from daycare she turned to jello and the whole vet visit was much smoother after that. The most recent experience was with boarding. My dog has ongoing leg pain issues which I was very concerned about. Dog days staff made me feel at ease. They explained how they would manage things with her. When we picked her up, they explained how everything went. My dog was groomed before pick up per my request and clean and ready to go home.

We use them every week and we really like them. It is around $25 per visit for day care. They spend quite a bit of time with our dog and provide feedback about how the dog does throughout the day. They don't shy away from the more aggressive or high energy dogs, which is what we have. He gets the good care and oversight care so we don't have to worry about him. They are very flexible as far as hours if we need to reschedule or make any sort of change. They are very accommodating and do their best to kind of meet our needs. We would like to pay less but we haven't compared their pricing. We will absolutely continue to use them.

My dog has been going to DogDays for several years now. He started at the Myrtle location and is now at the Capital location. They are so sensitive to the unique needs of each dog. As his needs have changed over the years, they have gladly changed too. He gets so much love when he is there. I board him there whenever I travel for work and in addition for 8 nights every Dec. He is so well taken care of - he probably gets more hugs and kisses than at home.

They were great with Frankie, my dog. I am very picky of entrusting a place to take care of my dog during the day. The facility is well kept and the staff is very friendly. They know my dog by his name know as we walk through the door and always great him happily. Plus, Frankie is always very excited when's he arrives there, which tells me he has a great time there. I will call throughout the day to see how he is doing, and they never seem annoyed of me calling. I can't say enough good things about this place. Frankie loves to play fetch, and they have labeled him the "Fetching Machine" and play with him. The staff is very friendly and I have never seen them crabby around the dogs and have great attitudes. I haven't boarded him there yet, but will do so when I go on a trip.

We take our year-old standard poodle there about once a week. He always comes home happy, tired out, and mellow. The staff seems very attentive and responsive to both the dogs and their owners.

Dog Days has always been a wonderful place to bring our little Maltese dog Checkers. There is an outdoor place to run and an indoor area. The dogs are so happy to be playing with each other! The staff is wonderful and caring. I wish I would have discovered this place sooner! Now Checkers is not stuck inside at home during the work week. He loves his doggie friends! Checkers has been doing Doggie Daycare on and off for a year now at Dog Days. He was also kenneled at their Capital Hill location last July. They did a wonderful job! Checkers will be there again in July while we take our family vacation. Dog Days is great and Checkers is one happy pooch!

We bring Koda here once a week. He is a high energy bundle of slobber and playfulness and they help wear him out for us, giving us and our other two dogs a well deserved break. Koda loves going and they take very good care of him. He gets a bit overexcited and they work closely with him and take steps to ensure he has a wonderful time while monitoring his behavior with the other dogs (he is a big dog and tends to jump when he gets excited; he also can get possessive with toys). We truly appreciate their patience, daily updates on how his day went, as well as their willingness to partner with us to manage his high energy drive.

Great! Our dog always has a great time there and the staff are very attentive. She's very energetic, but follows directions very well. We we concerned when we brought her there as a puppy, because we were house-training her and didn't want her to 'get used to going inside' and weren't sure she would take to the gravel in the playyard. Now, two years later, we really didn't have any reason to be concerned. She house-training went just fine and she loves going for a play date at Dog Days.

We had to board our dog at the last minute and luckily Dog Days had availability at its Capitol location. The Saint Paul location was very easy to find and get to and from. They took great care of our dog and allowed her to play with other dogs as well as spend time alone when she wanted. We were very happy with our experience and will use them again in the future.
