Class Act Catering & Floral

Description of Work: I honestly can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Linda Savage and Class Act Catering. And I haven't stopped talking about her/them since. I chose Linda for our twin boys' Bar Mitzvahs because of all the wonderful reviews on Angie's List--even though she was in Eagan and we are in South Minneapolis -- and even though most of her reviews were about weddings and she had never catered at our Synogogue or a Bar Mitzvah before. I've made a few snap judgments in my life, but this one--THIS ONE WAS A WINNER! And that, my friends, is an understatement. Linda, who is lovely and easy to talk to and beautiful (by the way!) can do anything and everything, and she did. She catered the luncheon after the service. She did the flowers (at the service, luncheon, and party that night), she decorated and she served with her gracious team. At both events!!!- The service and luncheon in the morning until 2:30 pm, and the party beginning at 7:00 pm across the street at Lynnhurst Community Cente. Both events were for kids AND adults. I wanted classy but elegant at one venue (with delicious food, of course at both!), and fun, celebratory, with a feeling of hominess at the party.... (hiring a DJ was the ONLY thing I did at either.) Linda had delicious food to satisfy adults and kids at both. (I have had many raves, by the way, about how delicious the food was). I wanted the Community Center transformed and SHE DID IT! Even beyond my hopes and expectations (which were very high, since this event was so important to my family.) She had fabulous balloons and an ice cream machine with toppings, and pizzas galore for the kids, scrumptious h'ors deouvres (I can't spell it, but, oh my gosh, I could taste it!) for us adults. The plain old big multi-purpose room had the atmosphere of a comfy living room with couches and chairs moved from other areas of the building, low light from lamps, white tablecloths and flowers on all the tables. Linda went above and beyond. We needed some traditional Jewish foods, and whatever she didn't already have in her vast choices of foods, she found out how to make anyway---and for me, a Jewish girl, to say she made the best ruggalah I have ever had, is unbelievable. Linda is creative, resourceful, easy to work with, helpful with finding ways to cut down on expenses .... I can't say enough about how fantastic she was, and how glad I am that I chose her to be our caterer, florist, decorator....everything person. That day was one of the most joyous days of my family's life, and I wouldn't change a thing. I also would never chose another caterer. Thanks, Linda, you are pure magic.

Description of Work: Again Class Act Catering did an excellent job for a reception for MAC Commissioners at the airport. Linda provides great service and her food is the best. Everyone raves about it and there are never any leftovers. She provides a very creative menu and the presentation is perfect. We will definitely use her services in the future.She performed way above expectations.

Description of Work: Class Act prepared a custom menu for our wedding reception of 300 guests. Items included; marinated pork tenderloin with dried cherry and wine sauce, mixed fresh greens with fruit and a honey orange dressing, basmati rice with toasted almonds and a desert buffet including miniature Carmel cheese cakes, chocolate mousse cake, and lemon curd tartletts. Class Act also took care of all of the table decorations and arrangements.
