Fantastic! I highly recommend this company without hesitation. If you look at other reviews I've written, you'll see that I'm not usually this glowing. Mike Scott who was friendly and professional in every respect came over to do the estimate work. Al and his team came and performed the actual work (the only reason they get a B in timeliness is because they ended up running one day behind, but called to let us know). After some deeper investigation, Al determined that some areas that I thought were not insulated, in fact, were insulated. He said the condition of the existing insulation was good enough that it should suffice. While we had an initial estimate for $3210, Al determined that he could take $1000 off the price since our needs weren't as big as first anticipated. He also suggested things we could do to help warm up the babies room if it wasn't warm enough (due to some room reconfiguration, the radiator is probably too small for the space and the windows could use replacing). Al and his team were speedy, friendly, polite, professional, talented and left the place perfectly clean when they left. Excellent overall experience.

They gave us the lowest bid and they did a great job. They cleaned up very well after themselves and were very nice. I would recommend them to anyone. They well above even what the contract called for.

It took somewhat longer than estimated for the windows to arrive (8 weeks rather than 4-6). Once we scheduled the installation - two days - I arranged it so I could work at home those days. The day before the installation started I took down all window coverings except one set of blinds in my bedroom. Day One 8AM: crew arrives and drops off materials. Two workers remain to do the work. They took off exterior siding as needed, took off interior trim (to be re-installed) and took down remaining blinds. As they were assembling interior molding I noticed the material was not what I had selected. They quickly obtained the right material. By the end of the day (5 PM), all 7 new windows were roughed in. The lead worker didn't like the color match of the exterior trim and sent for a new batch (I don't think I would have noticed if he hadn't pointed it out). The new stuff did match better. Day Two started at 8 again, they worked until 3 PM sealing, replacing siding, etc. and re-installing interior trim. They did install all blinds, and that left only drapes for me to put back up. The trim of the final window was not very well done (nail holes unfilled and corners didn't meet well). I contacted Lynda (my salesperson at Beissel) about this the next day and we scheduled a time for this to be repaired. This was accomplished very professionally.

Excellent customer service from Josh Beissel. He made an extra trip out to my house with one of his carpenters when I had questions about how the window units were going to be framed. He listened to me when I suggested how I wanted framing done for a certain area and made those changes with his carpenter. There was excellent communication with me from the scheduler; when they would start, how long it would take and giving me a day between the two stages of the job to stain the unfinished framing. When weather delayed the completion, I was contacted by Ryan via telephone to reschedule finish date when weather cooperated. Both Ryan and Shane were competent, hard-working, friendly and professional. When the project was finished, I noticed that several clamps were missing, holding the windows in place. I called Josh, and he came out himself that same day to install the missing clamps. When one of the doors started coming loose from the jamb, I called the Beissel office, and Ryan was out that afternoon to install longer screws in both doors, so there would be no problems in the future. I don't really know if Beissel's estimates are higher, about the same or lower than other companies out there, but I wouldn't use anyone else for the products and services they offer.

Overall they have customer service down they are quick to pick up on how involved the person wants to be with the work. They would okay it with me before any work was done. For any kind of windows or doors you wouldn't use anyone else.

The sales rep. came out to my home and spent about an hour with me in regards to product and prices. He was extremely professional and courteous. The workman were professional and prompt as well. They accidentally broke my chandelier bulb and went to home depot and bought a new bulb.

We will be using them for future work for gutter covers. I have used them for a few years. They do very good work and I have recommended them to family to use. We will be using them for a door and a roof repair in the near future, and they are very nice people to deal with.

The proposal was thorough and the representative did a nice job explaining everything to us. Although it took several months to get on the schedule, the company did a professional job installing the insulation. They cleaned up beautifully. I was completely satisfied.

In the end, we are happy with the work and cost. I called Beissel right after a storm in mid August. I was told that they were pretty busy and didn't know if they could take the job (being that it was a very small job). I explained I found them on Angie's List and used them before for a sliding door replacement, and they connected me with the siding manager Jeff. Jeff had some jobs in the area and said he would come over the next week to do a color match. They came over and took a small piece of siding that we found. They did a color match and quoted $50 to do the work. There was a mix up with the color match, but they eventually got it straightened out and did the work. The work was done in mid October.

I am very pleased with everything and have already suggested them to my neighbors who need roof repairs. Josh Beissel has already given them an estimate and he is just great to work with. They were so accommodating and easy to work with. I really can't think of a thing I disliked about Beissel. Go far Beissel, you won't be sorry and you'll thank yourself after.

Late summer this year I noticed that at least two of the installed windows on the main level hadn't been caulked and had up to 1/8" gaps on the bottom. Beissel promptly sent out someone to fix the problem (complete strips of caulk had fallen out, possibly caused by temp/time of installation though I'd think they'd want to always check for that). Though service was sent without a hitch, the repairman apparently didn't check all the new windows (where clearly a similar faulty caulking could occur), because recently, when cleaning the gutters, I found strips of caulk had fallen out from below my daughter's windows as well. This makes me concerned about less apparent workmanship on other windows and other aspects of the installation.

The representative showed up and was friendly. The initial estimate went on schedule. He said they would be calling in the next week to schedule the work. I received no calls and had to call to see what was in process and finally got on their calendar. The day of the work went well. They were neat and respective of property. Asked for a quote on gutter work but never received it.

I bet I called about 10 people that I knew that could possibly help me out. No luck no one called me back. I decided to come to Angie's list. I was very worried about water leaking into my 2nd floor of the house. Insurance had been called. I found Beissel and a couple of other companies but Josh Beissel was the one that called me back first. He said he had someone in Oakdale that could stop by at the end of the day. It was perfect they came and fixed it. One very happy homeowner!

Al provided the estimate and educated me regarding the different types of insulation. They began the work as scheduled (actually they ran just a little bit late, but called to let me know when they would arrive--much appreciated!). The work was done quickly and professionally, surprisingly quietly as well. They also did a good job cleaning up when finished. Most certainly would recommend them to anyone.

Beissel did a 4 on a scale of 5. Punctuality was the reason for not giving a 5. They would sometimes leave after doing a couple of hours of work, and sometimes were not there at specific times when they were suppose to have arrived. I talked to a few people about the work I had done, and they agree that it was a fair price.

The work itself went very well. The problem I encountered was getting Al to call me back once we decided to go with his company. I had to call 2 weeks after I had sent my required $250 deposit to find out when they were going to schedule the job. A few phone calls later a date was set and the work got done. While Al was at my house I showed him an area outside under a window that had rotted due to some leaking. He told me he would let the window people know and someone would contact me about coming out to give a bid. After 2 weeks went buy I called the company to say I hadn't heard from anyone. They put me through to Al and he said the guy had been on vacation but he would be calling me soon. That was almost 3 weeks ago!! So I guess If you can get them to show up they do great work but I'm not sure I will ever find out with my window problem!!

A rep was out promptly, but we waited several days for the quote. Their quote was much less than 3 other competitors. We paid up front and got a discount, the workers were on time, quiet, clean and quick. Didn't even disturb the flower bed they had to stand it!! I have more work needed in the future and I will not call anyone but Beissel!! GREAT JOB.
