Guardian Chimney is a wonderful company. They were prompt and got to the job right away. Even though the wind blew my flue cap off in winter, Joe was able (and willing) to replace it. The work he did rebuilding the chimney is flawless. I recommend him with no reservation.

Joe patiently distinguished himself from the other bids I entertained in that the other two operations suggested I do a complete teardown and rebuild (the easy option). Joe on the otherhand knew how important it was for me to have the integrity of the brickwork on the chimney and around the house to be integrated and authentic. He was more interested in doing it right even though my choice of pluck and replace and pointtucking involved a higher level of difficulty on his crew. In the end, the bill was actually lower than the other bids. In summary, I not only received top-notch workmanship and professionalism at a fair price, but true artisanship. Guardian came out for a chimney cleaning in the fall and let us know that we needed a chimney rebuild, firebox reconstruction and a flue liner. Though this was more than we anticipated, Joseph, the owner, responded quickly to all of our emails & texts, gave us a clear breakdown of costs and helped us work with our insurance company. His team returned in the spring for the work wearing masks and were all polite and efficient. They took care to keep our house clean during the indoor work, left our yard spotless and sent photographs of the finished work from on top of the chimney and down inside. It looks great. Guardian Chimney was top notch!

Our chimney had some water damage and we needed to find a company that would take it down to a certain level in order to mitigate the bricks that were damaged as well as have it be a certain height for the gas fireplace we were having installed to be properly vented out of. On of top of that we needed a chase pan built and placed on top to make sure no more water damage occurred. Guardian Chimney Solutions was able to tackle the job with no problem! Joseph was very responsive with all the questions we had and was able to walk us through the steps. He was able to fit us in to his busy schedule in order to make our timeline of getting the chimney work done before the gas fireplace went in. His team went above and beyond the day that they were here. The way in which our chimney was built made it very hard to deconstruct the crown at the top. The job took longer than they expected but they still stayed until they finished the job and were very kind and respectful to my family and neighbors as they worked. Even though the job took twice as long as they had planned, they still honored their original quote. Our chimney looks great! We highly recommend Guardian Chimney Solutions.

Guardian Chimney Solutions LLC repaired the four top courses of my chimney. While cleaning out my gutters on the roof a few days later, I checked out their work and I have to say they did an excellent job. The new bricks match the existing ones, everything is even and the chimney looks great. The crew was very friendly and they answered all my questions. They removed all the debris around the work area and cleaned up everything on the ground. Guardian Chimney Solutions LLC stood out among the 4 estimates I had, is easy to communicate with and does excellent work - I would recommend them very much.

My wife and are currently buying a home and the inspection is scheduled for this up coming Friday . I also thought it would be good to have the chimney cleaned and Level 2 inspection done Incase any issues arise we can work that into that final offer . We have a short window to get all this done so it’s been all rushed . I called over 10 chimney companies , my realtor called 3 as well. We either got no response back or if we did, no possibility to get out this Friday . Little did I know this is the busiest time of year for this type of work... lucky me. With in one day I received the only response back , and it was from Guardian. He said he could make it work , completely understood our unique circumstances, and was willing to make sure it would get done ... By the time I got the email , my realtor was able to set up with a different company several hours prior and we already agreed and signed for the job with that company ... I wanted to just write this because I think it’s very telling that even though they were so busy just like the rest , he was willing to take the time communicate back at the least , and willing to move things around to squeeze me in on such short notice. I think it says a lot about character and integrity of a company . So what it’s worth , this whole scenario may be something to consider as to why you chose them for your future chimney needs .

Sept 25, 2019 - Guardian Chimney team did a great job! Their price was very competitive and they worked hard, sealing cracked flue tiles with HeatShield and replacing tiles and bricks as needed. They started right on time and worked until the job was done and everything cleaned up. They were generous with protective tarps -when they were done, the only visible clue they had been here was the nice new chimney crown!

Project was completed with no problems and workers were very customer friendly and had answers for any questions asked. Also upon completion of work any debris was completely cleaned up before leaving the site. Joe and his team were great. Got this pretty big job done in one day and did a great job of cleaning up. Chimney looks great. It's a big chimney and they replaced around 300 bricks, repaired cement and mortar, and painted the crowns and brought them up to code to prevent this kind of water damage again. Joe was even able to match the bricks exactly. He found them in St. Cloud and drove to get them for me. So, it's a perfect match. Highly recommended. These guys were the best and quickest about getting a quote too, which was no easy task in the summer. Attached image is partially done. Don't have a good picture handy of final product, but you can tell they do solid professional work.

They were real pros from start to finish. Joseph answered all my questions, his crew were helpful and friendly. They are excellent masons. They showed up on time and completed all the work in one day. GCS was able to match my vintage 1948 bricks and grout on the oldest as well as the grout on my 1960's chimney. It looks marvelous. We were very happy with their work and took their card for our neighbors. Highly recommended.
