Allen was extremely polite throughout the entire process. From the booking to finish. He was spot on when it came to matching colors for each bathroom. Our bathrooms all look as if we have brand new tile. Allen was on time for both the estimate and appointment. He was neat and clean and left our house in perfect condition. I would highly recommend Allen, The Grout Doctor to bring your tile back to life!

Allen came to our house to review our project. We thought our project was going to be fairly simple and replace some grout and caulk. Allen informed us that we had a much larger issue that he could not fix. Even though he could not fix it, Allen was very knowledgeable on why we were having this specific issue and how to fix it the right way. Allen educated us, sent us an email with a references to certified tile setters, how to ask the right questions when picking your tile setter contractor and videos to educate us even further. Allen is a professional, patient and courteous. He could have easily came into our house and said, “I can’t help you” and went on his way. Instead, he spent 20-30 minutes with us. If I ever get the chance to use Allen as a contractor, I will definitely be calling him!

It went very well. I booked the estimate online and Allen reached out that night. I was able to book an estimate for that Saturday and Allen completed the job the following Thursday. He was punctual, professional, and very sweet to our toddler daughter it was very curious what he was doing. We would definitely hire him again, and I have already recommended him to neighbors and friends.

Allen did a fantastic job. He was able to finish the project in one day. The result was excellent. I was able to keep my mid century tile in my main bathroom and it looks like new with the new grout. I highly recommend, I also thought the cost was reasonable for a full days worth of work.

He came out within a couple of days of our initial contact to give us a quote and performed the work the following week. He is very knowledgeable, fully explained the processes he was going to use and did a professional job. He gave us tips on how to keep grout clean in the future. This is the second time we have used him and have been very pleased each time. We would highly recommend him.

Shower looks brand new, and based on everything I've read, we have superior grout. (There seems to be a consensus that epoxy grout is a better material. The knock against it is that it's difficult to work with, but Allen has been using this material for many years.) .

The Grout Doctor came on time, explained what he was going to do and kept me appraised throughout project (4-5 hrs). Re-set 2 tiles, and re-grout & re-caulked the bathroom vanity tile (approx 10 sq ft). The end result is gorgeous - just like new! Even the old tile came out shiny! Great job, though a bit pricey.

"Thanks much for the work! One thing that was purchased was longevity of your tile. The epoxy grout I had used not only looks great.... but will cause the countertop to last decades. That's what you bought, and getting the most from your money is a good thing!"

Allen was responsive right away via email and text message. He was on-time and/or early for estimate and on the work day. Bathroom and floor look incredible. He installed a product called enduroshield (sp?). It works as promised. Water beads right off of tile and grout, it's amazing to watch. Allen also gave good advice on how to preserve the existing tile. Would definitely hire him again.

Allen got back to me on every occasion in a timely manner and answered my questions succinctly. The re-grouting looks beautiful, the badly needed fixture-caulking looks wonderful. We had a drip leak we just couldn't track down but we suspected it was in the surround somewhere and not plumbing-related. All gone now! I won't wait as long next time if I see new wear and tear areas in the tile.

Alan's work is exceptional! He matched all existing grout, did a masterful job in a very short amount of time and is a very pleasant person with which to work. I am so pleased that I hired the work out to Alan versus doing it myself!
