Edick Valuation Services dba Rapid Radon Removal, is a service oriented company that is part of the real estate appraisal, radon reduction and testing, home inspection, and lending community in Minnesota. At EVS we strive to provide our clients with accurate, error free Appraisal Services, comprehensive Home Inspections and Radon Mitigation in a timely and professional manner. EVS employees present themselves in a courteous, ethical, and professional manner at ALL times. EVS adheres to the ASHI Standards of Practice for their Home Inspection Services, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP). We also comply with all rules and regulations as promulgated by the State of Minnesota.

I was recommended to use this inspection company by my real estate agent (who is also a long time acquaintance and totally trustworthy). I am so glad that I used this company. I was able to get an inspection done very quickly. The cost was totally reasonable. Erik was on time, VERY thorough in his inspection and explained everything to me when we met for the last hour of the inspection. The report that was received via email within 12 hours was very lengthy and totally specific. I received two reports - one was the detailed report of everything inspected with any concerns listed. The summary report summed up the areas of concern. As I am buying an older home, I value the information he gave me because he also let me know what needed immediate attention and what to do for preventative measures for the future. I was able to move forward with the purchase agreement with this inspection that really was very clear for both the buyer and me. I am confident I am buying a home that was built extremely well and has been well maintained over the years. And peace of mind is priceless.

The inspection was fantastic. When my wife and I arrived Dustin had a whole checklist he went through with my wife and I of the most important things he had found during the inspection. He was able to give us a lot of useful information and suggestions for the issues or conditions he found right away. By the next day we have a hard copy of the report with excellent and very detailed pictures and summaries of the house and his findings as well as supplementary pictures and diagrams where necessary to explain the issue or solution further. The report is very detailed and thorough as well as easy to read all the pictures prove they truly inspected everything. We would use EVS again and would recommend Dustin as an inspector as he was very knowledgeable as well as extremely personable.

Eric was very, professional, and thorough. He walked us through the home for an hour and explained, in detail, any potential issues and the severity of each find. All of this was also outlined in a very detailed and well designed report.

The inspector was very thorough, reviewing every part of the house before I purchased it He spent a lot of time going over everything he found that needed repaired. The company also provide me several reports with the outcome of each item if not repaired and an approximate repair amount. They also track all your appliances insuring there is no recall etc. The inspector found several leaks above the ceiling that was not notable by the eye, saving me potentially 1000.00's of dollars.

We called on Friday for an inspection on our first possible home, and Ryan set it up for the coming Sunday -- we felt so relieved that we could still find one in the very last minute for an inspection in the weekend.
Our inspector was Anthony, and he was great. Very kind, patient, detailed and professional explanations during our walk through, and it was very important to us as rookie buyers. We texted Anthony during our impatient waiting for the report that evening; he replied immediately, and as he promised, we got the final report around 11:30PM (which meant he worked that late on Sunday to keep his words). The next morning after reading through the report, I found one issue of the house might not be proper as "time discretionary", so I emailed him. Within one hour he replied, clarified what the problem was, apologized for the typo he made (I wouldn't be surprised if I make mistakes during work late at night), corrected and re-generated the report right away.
I'm so glad we chose this company and have Anthony to be our inspector. I highly recommend them to anyone who's looking to have their new home inspected.

Overall, the inspection was very thorough and timely. Unfortunately, they did not have an extra radon test on hand even though we requested the test. They had to come back to do the test which made us fall outside of the warranty period. Then the power went out during the test which made it not accurate. They had to come back and place a new one in the home but they did this at no charge due to the unexpected weather.

We called for an inspection on our first home, and Ryan set us up for the very next day. Our inspector was Rob, and he was great! He took the time to walk through every detail of his inspection, including stopping to give us tips about home repairs and ways to make our mechanicals last longer. Rob was thorough, professional, kind, and incredibly patient (we didn't know anything about how the furnace worked, etc., but he explained it all). We got the final report via email that very evening. Buying a home is such a stressful process, and it means a lot to have a professional verify that you're making a good investment. It helps even more when they have a great sense of humor. I'm so glad we chose this company, and I highly recommend them to anyone who's looking to have their new home inspected.

My realator said she was so impressed with the service. Their prices are very reasonable. After you start dealing with them for a while, they start giving you rebates and discounts. They were so wonderful and thorough. The guy even went through and showed me where different things were in the house such as how to shut off the water and gas. He actually had me go through the last part of the home inspection with him so we could go through everything and discuss it. He sent me a incredibly thorough booklet of everything he found and how to fix it. I am very happy with his services and I highly recommend him to anyone!

Edick was recommended by our Realtor after our offer on a 15yr old home was accepted. I called their office line on a Saturday and left a message. Ryan returned my call within 2 hours and walked me through their service offerings, timeline, and fees. They were able to install a radon tester Monday morning and complete the inspection of the house on Wednesday. After a 3hr inspection, Ryan spent the 4th hour walking us through areas of concern as well as providing regular maintenance tips. They were very knowledgeable, detail oriented, and great communicators. Within hours of the inspection, we received 2 deliverables; a 20-page summary of the major concerns with pictures and recommended solution along with a 70-page detailed report with every possible defect.
Ryan and his team are true professionals and well worth the price. It gave us the peace of mind to know we weren?t investing in a money-pit and allowed us to prioritize which issues should be addressed by the seller before we purchased the home.

This company was referred to me by a contractor and was exceptional. I needed the inspection pronto and Ryan Edick was able to do it the day after I called. He spent a full 4 hours doing the inspection, the last hour I joined him and he highlighted the key findings in the house. It is amazing how thorough he was and he found a significant issue that the city inspector didn't find. Plus the real value was that every item he identified was rated as to condition and whether correction was needed, then for any item needing correction it provided a potential range of cost. This was invaluable for me as I was able to estimate the investment the house would require beyond the purchase price. By evening in my email I had a full report, with tons of photos and information, it was truly amazing. This service was worth every cent. Plus this firm does appraisals and valuations which many times would help someone decide if the house was priced right or not. After purchase they provide advice and referrals to other contractors. Ryan was professional, extremely thorough, and super friendly. Uncommonly great service. I would highly recommend anyone buying a home invest in a buyers inspection and use this firm. Great value for 4 hours of inspection plus the considerable time he must have spent prepping the report.
