I called 5 veterinarians looking for treatment for my injured cat, and none could fit her in to their schedule. I found Douglas Animal Hospital online. They were able to see her within the hour. My cat received great care and treatment. My only complaint is the lack of communication - 5 hours after dropping her off, I hadn't heard a thing from the vet. I had to call them for an update. Ultimately, the care my cat gets is more important than anything, and I'm very happy with the care she received. The bill actually came in Under the estimate - when does that ever happen at a vet?! Hopefully I'll never need their care again, but if I do, I'll be calling them.

Great. Very knowledgeable and offered treatment plans. The doctor and staff really treated our lizards like kittens! I would take my dogs there, too. I don't recall the price, but it was reasonable with medicine, too.

Great. Dr. Douglas has a gift with animals. She is very soft spoken and my dog just loves her and she is not like that with everyone. Especially in a strange environment.

I am new to the area, only having moved here a few months ago. They were able to fit me in right away after I called, something others on your list wouldn't do. I had found a lump on my dog's stomach area and was very concerned. The Doctor completely checked him out and did a biopsy and blood panel, as well as got his shots updated. It was a good experience and we will certainly return. I was very surprised at getting the cold shoulder at another vet office, which is always a good way to tell if the Vet is a concerned and caring person. This office is in a rather old building, but it's lack of showiness was made up by the caring and concerned staff; something that is so much more important to me, and to my dog. I only gave them a B on price because it was higher than I was used to at my Vet in Illinois - but then everything up here seems to be higher.

I took my dog to get spayed because the price seemed reasonable compared to other vet clinics in the area. I found out during the surgery that she also needed 4 baby teeth pulled because the permanent teeth had come in behind them and didn't push them out. That was also at a reasonable price. The service and care was excellent and my dog had no complications from either procedure. I plan to use this clinic as my regular vet.

This was the first time we used Douglas Animal Hospital. We liked them, but they were more expensive than we though. They charged more than the original quote that had been given to us over the phone. My husband was the one who dropped off and picked up the dog, but he said the people were very nice and professional. I think they are just to expensive. What we were billed for is just overwhelming. I think that service is going to be a lot at other places and I don't want to penalize them. I will not rule out going to them again.

Dr. Douglas was very professional, knowledgeable about my bird, and prompt. As she is one of the few avian vets in the area, I was thrilled to find her. I would recommend her to any other parrot/bird owner.

Dr. Heather Douglas is great, I don't see another person since she has been there. I have been going there for 3 years and my dog likes her and I like her.

We started taking our 3 dogs to Douglas Animal Hospital in June of 2009 and have been very happy with their service. With 3 dogs we have had a fair amount of interaction with them and they have been wonderful each time. They seem to bend over backwards to fit our dogs in their busy schedules if we have issues. We highly recommend Douglas Animal Hospital.

I highly recommend Dr. Douglas. For clients who do not live near her clinic in Osseo she offers the convenience of house visits. Her prices are very reasonable - $45 for an acupuncture session vs. $80 quoted by another vet in SW Mpls. She is well versed in both western and eastern treatment modalities. She clearly explains the animal's condition and treatment options so it is easy to make an informed decision. My dogs love her and are always happy to see her when she arrives. My dog receiving acupuncture is a bit anxious initially but ends up snuggling in her lap by the end of his treatment.
