Their work was very good. They cleaned up after themselves. They got the work done in a timely manner. He put plastic over everything, so the dust wouldn't go everywhere. He is really motivated to keep the customer satisfied. He came on time. I thought he was excellent! He did just what he said he was going to do.

We had a plumbing leak that caused a 2 by 3 foot section of ceiling texture to fall off. We had several people look at the problem and recommended up to complete removal and re texturing of the room. A-1 Ceiling Specialists repaired the small section of damaged texture and re-sprayed the entire ceiling for a fraction of the cost of most of the estimates. The repair looks Great. The job was done quickly and completely cleaned up in a matter of hours.

It was a complicated job because of the high ceilings. They came when they promised, they were hard working and very careful with the work they did, and they tried to get the work done promptly. The result was very good.

They provided the services described in 5 hours start to finish. The estimated cost was honored and the overall work looks great. For the price it is difficult to conjure a better solution to our problem. The texturing is barely visible on only noticeable if you knew it was there.

Came out and gave estimate for ceiling finish and painting. Gave several options and explained the pros and cons of each. Date was set, deposit was reasonable, and on the date and time set he arrived ready to go. Very efficient in taping and protecting other surfaces. Job was done quickly and while other work was happening in the house. No problems, and great work.

The work went well. The area where the water damage was looks great - perfectly seamless. The other area where the cracks were in the ceiling didn't turn out as well as I had planned. The cracks are still there, and it appears as though drywall compound was applied over the top of the cracks and then feathered outward. The cracks are lessened, but still there. Clean up was good.

Good price, generally good service. Just two small issues: for the wall painting, he requested that we use a specific brand of paint which was different than the type of paint we'd used on the other areas of our house-and we weren't able to exactly match the color. We also discovered a few small areas that were not well painted, and he returned without complaint to fix them. He and his partner worked quickly and the work was well done.

They came and repaired and replaced the ceiling. It went well they did a great job on it. They came when they said they were going to come. They gave a very reasonable estimate and the finished product was great. They also cleaned up very well.

Larry did a great job. He was very prompt in returning my phone calls and coming out to give me an estimate. He arrived on time to do the job and they turned out really nice. The only complaint I have is that he charged $50 to come out and give me an estimate because I went with him that money went towards the job, but if I didn't go with him that $50 is non-refundable.

They came the first day and fixed or the cracks, taped and applied pudding. The second day they arrived in the morning covered all the furniture and fixtures very carefully and than painted. There a couple of minor scratches to the wall where the ladder was placed. We had the smell of the paint in the house for 3-4 days but then it was fine. Larry was very professional from the beginning to the end.

Called and he came out to do the estimate. Once he came he taped the edges which took some time, but the actually painting took approximately an hour.

I think if I remember right there was something that they didn't do that I didn't like but they fixed it right away. They did a great job and we took them from Angie's List because they had the most ratings.

Everything was perfect and we are very happy with the outcome.

Larry was great, very friendly and responsive. Always promptly returned phone calls. We're getting the house ready to sell and time was a factor. Larry was able to come out and do the job within one week of my calling him. We asked for an estimate for painting the entire basement also, and he honestly said that he didn't think he could tackle the job in our time frame, he recommended another contractor who turned out to be great, as well. Larry did get sick the first day he was supposed to show and called to reschedule. I was afraid it was going to be a blow-off and I'd never hear from him again. But not so! He called back the next day, and was here painting within the next 2 days. He was very fast and thorough. Took him only half a day to prep and paint 2 ceilings. Used an oil based paint and a sprayer. The ceilings had been stained pretty bad, but so far no stains have bled through, the coverage is great. The smell was strong the first day, but has since dissipated for the most part. If it were winter, and we couldn't keep the windows open for the next 2 days, the smell might have lasted longer, but we're lucky it is spring. Prep work and covering all the furniture and walls was great, no paint spatters anywhere. He did use my expensive porcelain pedestal sink in the bathroom to clean stuff, I think, and after he left I found a tiny scrape mark in the porcelain that looks like it came from a tool. Next time I would keep the door closed or cover the sink with padding or something.

Larry did a very good job and cleaned up just great. It was a very small place to work in and he didn't complain.

The whole experience was very positive. He called me back right away when I placed a call for an estimate. We set up an appointment, and he was prompt and courteous. His estimate was the lowest of the three we received, and his work was outstanding. My ceiling had an old sand texture on it, and I didn't want to change the character of the ceiling, so I specifically requested that he keep the new texture very light. He used the smallest hole on his sprayer, and the ceiling turned out just beautiful. The oil primer, while smelly, gives me some peace of mine that no staining will be leaching through the new ceiling.

The job went very well from the first contact to completion. Larry gave me a very reasonable estimate (probably because he uses spray, not roller) and a good idea of what to expect during the repair and painting. He repaired all the ceilings in a half day, then sprayed all the ceilings on day two. He worked alone and was incredibly fast, efficient and polite. The ceilings look great. The only negative is the odor from the oil base paint. With the windows closed, it lingers and is bothersome. But that's not Larry's fault.

When Larry bid the job, he estimated that he could spray texture over the existing ceiling. As it turned out, the existing ceiling had poor adhesion to the drywall and Larry had to scrape down the whole ceiling and respray it after he had sprayed it the first time. The finished job was excellent and although Larry spent double the time he had originally estimated, he only charged me the price he had originally estimated. He is a excellent craftsman and a gentleman.

Larry came and gave us a free estimate. His price seemed reasonable so he came back at the end of the week and did the job. He was professional and did a nice job.

Everything went beautifully. They completed the job within the expected time-frame, and the quality of the work was outstanding. The crew was consistently professional, and the crew leader visited the site everyday to talk with us and to check on the progress and quality of the job.

They were extremely punctual and cleaned up after themselves. They were very friendly and accommodating to my schedule. This was my first experience using Angie's List and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their ceiling painted.

Larry was excellent. He resprayed the ceiling a hallway, a portion of which was above a staircase, which made it very tricky, but he had no problems. He also did a bedroom ceiling and repaired some water damaged drywall from a chimney leak. He cleaned up very well afterwards. I cannot even tell where the water damage was anymore. Great job.

He worked very fast and did an excellent job. However, the paint fumes are hard to get rid of in winter. We would definitely recommend his services.
