I called Scott today at about 3:30 pm on a Friday afternoon.  He was on his way to another appointment but said if I texted him my contact info. he would stop by on his way home.  He arrived here about 4:30 pm and within 30 min. he got the door open for me.  He will be coming back to install a new door knob for me.  Scott was very responsive, pleasant and professional.  I will definitely keep his card on hand.

Scott did an excellent job replacing several cedar siding boards, adding metal flashing, foam insulating, repainting, and repairing a concrete front step. We've hired Scott for multiple home projects because he is a good guy and always does quality work.

Scott showed up when he said he would and immediately started working as I explained the issues. He had my front door removed as well as some of the door frame before I had even explained the list of items. Very efficient worker! His works is very high quality. My basement door now closes like it was just installed. I have Scott in my contacts and will be using him for all future work! Besides the work done. Scott is very friendly, he explains what he plans to do and never made me feel dumb for asking all the questions I had. Great guy to have available for those jobs that you need done.

Scott was super friendly,outgoing, and has a great personality! He came out to our house twice. He went above and beyond and found a leaky pipe that my wife and I didn't notice and fixed it before it turned into a huge flood in our basement that could of cost us thousands. Overall great experience and would use Scott again and again.

We were very pleased with Scott's work on our Master Bath.  He is very precise and meticulous with his work.  When it came time to make decisions or somthing came up he consulted with my  wife and I.  He had some great ideas on our project and we were very happy with his suggestions.  I would compare him to a General Contractor without the overhead.  He can plan out and execute your job to perfection at a great value.  Scott is very intelligent and also gets the job done.  I met with dozens of contractors and it took us years to find the right person for our bathroom.  It was worth the wait, Scott did a great job.

Scott kept in touch from the original contact to when the work was completed.  He was punctual and got right to work--seemed to get things accomplished very quickly, then shopped for some needed supplies/returned to finish the job.  He was able to problem solve things that would have taken me forever (if ever) to figure out, even ordering a replacement part for a dresser drawer in a bedroom that wasn't functioning properly.  I will definitely contact him again for future needs.

Our basement was wiped out from the spring flood so I set out to find the one individual that was both qualified and trustworthy to get us back into our home.  I tried a couple of other referrals from friends without success so I signed up for Angie's List.  This was the first time I looked to Angie's List for help.  It didn't take long for me to go through the "handyman" list to find "Duneman Handyman Service" and made the call.
Scott Duneman returned my call and came out to assess the damage the next day.  As Scott looked around at the damage and anticipated the work that was going to be needed I had a sense of relief that he knew exactly what to do. Scott was excited to answer any question I threw at him but it didn't take long to know that I wanted him to get us on his calendar.  He said that his closest break was in two months and I was very good with that. After our meeting I had a good idea of what the anticipated costs should be as well.  Within a couple of days, Scott was able to move a few jobs around to get us going much sooner than expected. Scott arrived, took control, and went to work.  Every day he kept us informed as to the things that were needed and what to expect. Of course we ran into a few other problems that needed the service of electricians and plumbers.  Scott coordinated those services as well.  I could continue with the wonderful experience we've had with Scott but I will cut this short by saying that we "got done" as Scott promised and now enjoying the new family room.  I've already "taken a number" to get on his calendar for other projects.

Scott did a great job. He came out to do an estimate within a few days after we called, whereas other places we called said it would be weeks. He started work soon thereafter, once he had the materials, and completed the work on time and on budget. We will definitely call him again.

Scott did an awesome job patching cement under a brick facade on our home. It was a tricky job as the cement had to be applied upside down . He bought all the supplies, finished the work in a timely manner, and cleaned up everything. He made the process very easy. Scott will be our go to for future handyman house projects.

We had some painting and concrete work done to keep our exterior in good shape. Scott did a great job on all of it and has a good attention for details. One of the areas I asked him to paint was blocked by a downspout. I probably would have tried to paint around it, but instead he took the time to remove the downspout, paint underneath it, and then put it back. He also patched some concrete that had chipped away on our stoop.  The previous owner of the house had just slapped a patch on, but Scott took the time to blend a corner back into the step. It looks so much better. Besides the quality of work, he was good at communicating when he was planning to show up, and his price was fair compared with some of the other bids I got.

Scott Duneman is amazing!  I had random list of items that needed to be fixed around my home.  I called and he spoke at length with me about my projects.  He then came over within a few days to go over my projects. He even gave me several ideas about how I could fix up my bathroom even though I was not ready to tackle that project yet.  A few days later he e-mailed an estimate and set up a date for service. 

Once here, Scott got right to work.  He was super quick, and was neat and tidy.  He made sure to explain everything to me so I understood his approach to fixing each problem.  He reset two broken door frames, put in a new bathroom faucet, and explored my stove vent to see why it is not currently functioning.  Scott was not able to determine the cause of my stove vent malfunction and told me that he is going to do more research instead of spending extra time dismantling the vent.  Scott was here for an hour and a half and not a second of that time was wasted. 

I was home with my napping toddler and 4 year old.  Scott was as quiet as possible so as not to disturb my napper and stepped out of the bathroom when my 4-year old HAD to use that bathroom right away.  It's those little touches that make Scott special.  He did great work and was pleasant to have in my home while he worked.

He was always very neat and cleaned up each day. The only issue was that he seems to be quite busy and sometimes we were not sure when he was coming back. Parts of the installation had to cure for a period and sometimes he went to other jobs in the interim. This was not a problem with us because we had other showers we could use in the interim.

Scott is phenomenal. He arrived to do a walk through and stayed far longer than expected to ensure that he fully understood the projects, made recommendations to save us time and money, provided a variety of options, and often offered suggestions that improved what we had envisioned. Scott was very professional and trustworthy. He completed much of the work while we were out of the house.
Communication was stellar. Billing was timely, clear, and detailed.
Scott also went above and beyond. We have e-mailed questions, photos, and even copied him on e-mails with another contractor, about an unrelated project, and Scott weighed in to help us solve the issue.
We are not handy people and having someone this trustworthy and knowledgeable is a blessing. We will, without question, be using Scott for a variety of project moving forward.

Scott is very detail oriented but also very efficient. He is extremely punctual and when he is delayed he communicates very well. He works efficiently and is good at leaving work area tidy. He does not get distracted easily and asks appropriate questions when doing repairs, etc. He tiled a very complicated back splash in my kitchen that a previous handyman had made some unfortunate errors in. He was creative and gave me a number of options in working with the problem. In the end it turned out beautifully and ended up being very cost effective for me. I highly recommend Mr. Duneman and I am already planning to use him again.

Scott was amazing. Easy to get a hold of. Came to my place on time and eager to work. My house was built in 1885, but that was no problem for Scott. He has many years experience in old homes, and it shows! He is a true craftsman and you can tell takes pride in his work. We've had several storms since the repairs were done and his work is still standing up perfectly! I will use Scott in the future for anything I have a need for! I have also suggested Scott to both my parents and some co-workers. I know he won't let me down!
