We called for a quote, and spoke to John (the company owner), who came out the next day. He was friendly, professional, and straightforward. He quickly found out what we wanted, improved upon that (he really knows what he's doing, of course!), came up with a plan, and quoted us on the spot. He uses rebar for even small projects like ours, because he wants to build things to last. And he charges a fair price. He and his employees did a terrific job! We would definitely hire them again for any future jobs, and highly recommend!

John is a combination of a master concrete finisher and master landscaper. He took a lot of time to walk me through the layout of the patio and the challenges of my sloped yard. Each time we increased scope, he triple-checked that I was comfortable with the changes and increased cost. He also saved me time by bringing in the dirt fill and grading it for me. In addition, he was responsive, meticulous, and just a really nice guy. I called him on a Friday and my patio was done less than a week later. He came back even after being paid to touch up the joints. The patio he created for me is 100x better than I envisioned or originally planned. I would definitely recommend and hire John and his terrific team again!

First of all, Owner John responded the same day as my request. He diagnosed the problem and coordinated with another Angies list vendor(Mike at Spectrum Renovations) whom he had never met, and they came up with a solution to fixing the footings and installing the new service door. John scheduled the work to start within 3 days of the first meeting. He is a hands on guy and physically worked with his crew on the job. Very pleased with the new footings and concrete garage apron.Great job!!!

The went very well excellent removal went smooth the person operating bobcat was extremely careful, & was complete in less than a day - The cement looks great the lines (divides) in the cement were not saw cut but actually put in by a great group of craftmen that know cement work. Whenever you see an owner working rite along with his help you know you have pride in the craft & your business!

When the front step repair did not turn out the way they expected, they returned and did a much more complicated repair. I had amazing service and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

They were very efficient and came when they said they would with all their equipment getting the job in a timely manner. I had no problems with them and will use them, again. I will definitely recommend them, as well.

Concrete builders repaired a cement step and some large cracks on my driveway, did tuckpointing on my brick patio. John answered my call immediately and was able to come look at it the day I called. His bid was higher than others but he explained better, seemed honest and was clear about what I could expect. He originally said it would be better to use a cement truck so would do my work at the end of a day they were using one. They did not use a cement truck but mixed it by hand, not ideal but I expect John will stand behind the work. Work was done in a day, the guys were pleasant, seemed to to a good job and cleaned up after. Very nice.

They did a beautiful job. I found them from Angie's List and they worked out very well. They did exactly what they specified they would do and came in at the price they originally quoted me. They were very friendly and were right there to answer any questions I had.

Every item that we wanted done was completed. The entire process from bid to completion was top notch. The work crew made every effort to ensure a quality job and explained everything as they did it. If you have concrete needs, this company is phenomenal and we will use them for our next project hands down!

I called in the morning, and John was out just after noon to give me a bid. After he saw what needed to be done, he quoted me a price and said he'd do it right now. His crew came minutes later because they'd finished a job in the morning and I was close to his shop. Two hours later, they were done. Amazing! I'd definitely recommend Concrete Builders all around: personal, punctual, professional.

Im a big fan of owner operated enterprises. John Reichert is the owner operator of this business. He has many years of experience in the concrete business working as a foreman for one of the most expensive contractors in the twin cities. Now, with his own business, he offers top quality work at a much fairer price.

On separate occasions this Spring, I received prompt, reasonable estimates from John and the work was completed within a week each time. These were small jobs that a previous contractor would not consider. John was also professional, personable and his work met my expectations.

The process was great. John was very responsive and the only bidder that was on time to the bidding appointment! Throughout the process, John had great communication and updated me. Very happy I chose concrete builders!!

John, the owner, was terrific!!! A very pleasant and very experienced man. He did out patio and put in many cuts. It looks awesome!!! It took two days. It was a large job. We were and are very, very pleased. I was so impressed that I asked john to do a walkway for us that I had been wanting to get done but just never had the time to do the job by myself. His two helpers got it done in about 3 hours. He also reset our Arbors to level,, they needed one of them removed so they could do the patio.

Excellent. John was thorough and detailed as he walked me through recommendations. Gave me options along with pricing so I could do the most important work now and the "nice to have" later. Not the lowest bid but very competitive with the other companies on my list. John's knowledge/experience (and sense of humor) came through in our initial meeting which made Concrete Builders an easy decision. On demo day, John introduced me to the crew when they first arrived and made sure I was comfortable communicating directly on those rare occasions when he needed to supervise other projects. John and crew were GREAT to work with....always checking in with me when they arrived and before they left for the day. End product was a testament to their skill and craftsmanship. May have been a small and seemingly simple job but done very, very well. Curb appeal is much improved and I can't wait for warmer weather to give my garage and driveway the same makeover. Very, very happy. Highly recommend Concrete Builders!

OUTSTANDING! From first meeting him to finishing their job, John and his crew were thoroughly professional. They did a fantastic job and everything went exactly as John outlined when we first met him late last fall. We simply could not be happier with how the entire process went.

These guys are great! They were on time they kept the area cleared up, very systematic and how they do things. very glad I stuck with them after getting multiple quotes.

Look no further if you're looking to hire a company that you can trust to provide excellent quality, knowledgeable recommendations, integrity, and timely service at a fair price. John seems unmatched in his understanding of environmental effects on concrete in the Midwest. He plans his work based upon your specific land and environment conditions. Straight talker, no fluff, and no hard sell. He cares and educates not only on what is needed, but also why he recommends a solution; but also able to give options based on budget. After completion, my wife and I noticed a chip in the adjacent porch that we were convinced was a result of damage from digging up the old concrete. While John was sure otherwise, he came back and patched the chip anyway. I then found an old photo that showed that the chip existed prior to hiring Concrete Builders. I guess the beauty of the new concrete exposed other flaws that my wife and I had never noticed before! We laughed about it later with John who was more than gracious; but it just goes to show you the type of integrity you can expect from this remarkable business owner. Wish I had a whole team of contractors like John, and my home remodeling projects would be a piece of cake!
