Think Stucco

Donnelly Brothers, through my general contractor, matched the existing house stucco for a new porch addition. They were a well- oiled machine in how they masked off the area and prepared for the actual process of applying stucco. And it is a perfect match. Must to my surprise, one of the workers remembered that they did the original stucco job on the house before I owed it! And they were thorough in the clean up.

Three men worked for two days. They were good, they cleaned up, and they worked very steadily.

The stucco looks fabulous and we have had many compliments on the job, the crew was great and seemed to like what they do. We have since noticed a crack in the stucco surrounding the area where we had them fill in an old door opening. We are currently trying to work with the company to get that resolved, as we were told up front by our sales rep/project manager that this should not occur.

Donnelly Bros. were able to work in our short timeframe, were on time, good communication and reasonable priced (even came under the original bid).

This company was the best company I've ever hired for anything, seriously. The man and his helper were very careful of all the landscaping and tender shoots coming up through the ground right where they were working. The price was amazing. They found an additional piece of stucco falling away when they got here, and since I was at the cap for what I would spend, threw it in for free. Great work. It looks awesome and none of my heirloom peonies or vines were damaged.

THEY SEEMED VERY EXPERIENCED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY HAD BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS. THEY WERE VERY GENEROUS WITH ADVICE ON REPAIRING FOR OTHER AREAS IN THE HOUSE. THEY WERE EASY TO TALK TO WHEN THEY WEREN'T EVEN DOING THE JOB.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH. THE CREWS WERE GREAT!

WE DID GET THREE ESTIMATES AND THIS ONE WAS THE HIGHEST, BUT WE KNEW THE DONNELLY REPUTATION WAS GOOD, SO WE WENT WITH THEM. WHEN THEY STARTED TEARING THE SIDING OFF AND THE ROT WAS FOUND THE JOB BECAME MUCH BIGGER THAN ANYONE ANTICIPATED. IT TOOK MANY EXTRA DAYS OF REPAIR WORK AND THE WORK THAT STARTED IN THE FALL OF 2004 WAS COMPLETED AT THE END OF JULY, 2005. WEATHER HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE DELAY. THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS INCREASED BY OVER $15,000.00 BECAUSE OF THE EXTRA REPAIR WORK AND WE WERE NOT KEPT INFORMED OF THAT AS IT WAS HAPPENING, NOT THAT WE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO ANYTHING DIFFERENTLY. MY HUSBAND WAS WATCHING AND KNEW WHAT THEY FOUND AND WHAT HAD TO BE DONE. NOW THAT THE STUCCO IS ON, OUR HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL, THE NEIGHBORS ARE ALL COMMENTING ON HOW NICE IT LOOKS. THE CREWS DOING THE WORK DID THEIR BEST TO PRESERVE MY GARDENS AND THEY CLEANED UP ALL THEIR MESS EXTREMELY WELL. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINAL RESULT.

WAS LATE IN COMPLETING WORK - BUT QUALITY OF WORK IS GOOD. SPENT THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE WORK THOROUGHLY.

WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A SIMPLE PATCH JOB TURNED INTO A MAJOR REPAIR. ONCE THE WORK STARTED WE COULD SEE THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD OBVIOUSLY PATCHED WITHOUT REPAIRING OLD DAMAGE TO FOUNDATION. JOHN WAS PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL. HE AND HIS CREW DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF REPAIRING THE DAMAGE PRIOR TO REFACING THE CRACKED AND BROKEN STUCCO. THEY TREATED MY HOUSE AS THOUGH IT WERE THEIR OWN, MAKING SURE THE REPAIR WAS SOLID AND RELIABLE. IT APPEARS THAT OTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE MAY BE IN SIMILAR CONDITION AND DONNELLY BROTHERS IS MY COMPANY OF CHOICE FOR THE WORK. ANOTHER COMPANY BID MUCH LOWER, BUT MY INTERVIEW WITH THE PROJECT MANAGER CONVINCED ME THE QUALITY OF WORK WOULD BE SUB-PAR. BE AWARE THAT WITH THIS TYPE OF WORK, YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I RECEIVED SEVERAL ESTIMATES FOR THIS PROJECT, DUE TO THE EXPENSE. I WAS INTERESTED IN USING DONNELLY BROTHERS BECAUSE THEY WERE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY SEVERAL NEIGHBORS. I LIKED THE RESPONSIVENESS AND SERVICE THAT MARK DONNELLY PROVIDED DURING THE ESTIMATING PROCESS. DONNELLY'S ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS THE HIGHEST I RECEIVED. WHEN I TOLD MARK THAT I WOULD LIKE TO USE THEM BUT THEIR ESTIMATE WAS HIGH, HE TOOK ANOTHER LOOK AT MY HOUSE AFTER THE SANDBLASTING WAS DONE AND REVISED HIS ESTIMATE DOWN SO THAT IT WAS MORE COMPETITIVE. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM OF THEIR WORK.

DONNELLY BROTHERS BID WAS THE HIGHEST OF THREE. THE JOB IS EXCELLENT, IT WAS WORTH THE HIGH PRICE!
