Masonry Work
Stonecrafters was one of three quotes I received, and was the cheapest. They are a very busy company as a result. It took a little bit to schedule and was delayed a couple weeks due to weather. The contract was just a faxed quote followed up by an invoice after the work was done. Very informal and at times we seemed unsure of choosing them due to this. It took three days to install. My one concern was that the install occurred during a period of weather that approached 25 deg overnight, which according to the building code requires special treatment of the grout and curing of the grout. I voiced this concern and they said they have not had problems in the past and warranty their work for one year. It has been a cold winter so I will check it out this summer for grout breakup. But other than that concern they did a great job and we continue to get compliments on how great it looks - we couldn t be happier with the way it has transformed our house!
