Tech refused to admit he put three deep scratches in the paint while installing one of the outlets. He lied. Sad, if one has to watch with them for two hours while they do their work; perhaps I should have. Fixed what needed to be fixed. He could have fessed up about the screwdriver wall damage. Customers don't like watching them work, and I'm sure they don't like it either. UPDATE 06/28/2018: The company brought over a check for $100 to "make things right"

It went well. The electrician was friendly, efficient and knew exactly what to do. The house was 19th Century vintage so it had some special issues, like the lack of an available grounded circuit, having a thick foundation in the way of running wires up into the wall, and an electrical panel that required some rearranging before it would accept a new breaker. But he quickly solved the issues and it passed inspection with no problems.

We've worked with Stafford before. We called them for an air conditioner inspection. On 5/10/18 Dustin reported that our 12 year old A/C compressor and fan were close to failing. We decided the unit was too old to repair, so we met with Jason to talk about our options. He sent us a proposal that include six possible air conditioners; we chose the model that we thought best met our needs. The day the air conditioner was to be installed we got an email with photos and short bios of the technicians. The showed up on time. They spent some time explaining what they were doing and why (new code requirements); they explained how to use the new thermostat we needed (since the A/C was a Two Stage model), and explained the wiring changes and the care and maintenance of the new A/C. We appreciated how thorough they were in their work and their explanations. They cleaned up both inside and outside. Stafford set up the city inspection, and the inspector came out on time. Everything is fine; no problems at all. We've used the A/C a few times, and are happy both with the new thermostat and the A/C. Our new A/C qualifies for an Energy Rebate, so that's a plus as well.

They were able to schedule me for same day service. The technician took extra care to "hide" the line for the switched outlet behind existing cabinetry. He was efficient in his work, and very professional. My cost was slightly more due to adding an ARC fault breaker to my setup. Additionally, there appeared to be a mixup with scheduling the state inspector for the inspection. I paid for the permit, but had to call and request the inspection be scheduled. In the end, I would use them again.

Very impressive company and will be my new go to with electrical and home updates. Installed two new bathroom fans and did great work. Small mishap with the lower bath fan ceiling but they have been very responsive on fixing it. The techs have been great. I would highly recommend!

Service person explained everything they were doing and taught me about my furnace. I appreciated the time and effort. This stands in sharp contrast to another company that was basically trying to con me into a new furnace. I was so impressed that will hire them for more work this year.

Everything went very smoothly. Of course they pull network wiring the same way one pulls electrical wiring, including in right angles, so they're not recommended for jobs that must meet the highest standards in networking. But for my small in-home office it was just fine.

Dave came within an hour of being called to give us a second opinion after we lost all power to our house and were quoted $4500-$8000 from Randy’s Electrical. After troubleshooting he quoted us $800 for the same job. Although we later discovered it was misdiagnosed and we wouldn’t have needed to replace any wires, it was unfortunately too late to undue work on the wires that was started. Regardless, the difference in bids and the promptness of being able to do the work that day was a blessing. No one wants to be out of power in January in MN:). I would highly recommend this company for their fair pricing, promptness, professional and ethical service starting with Peggy their scheduler and ending with Dave the electrician.

It went great. Jeremy was the tech and was very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He clearly explained the problem to me. The flame sensor had to be cleaned. It was a cheap fix and I was definitely satisfied. His assistant was Gabriel, who was also very courteous and professional. I also had Jeremy look at our gas fireplace, in which the pilot light would not stay lit. He believed that it was due to a possible obstruction in the chimney, so they pulled out a ladder and climbed to the top of the chimney. Jeremy said it was frozen solid so they would have to wait for a few warm days in a row before they could come back and deal with it. They did not charge me for this, which I thought was nice, as it took 2 guys to handle the ladder and it was well below zero with the windchill! Overall an excellent experience. I was very impressed with Jeremy and Gabriel, and will hire again.

The entire process was great. We've used Stafford Home Services previously for other light replacements and electrical work and have been very pleased with the results and this time was no exception. Everything from scheduling, getting the free on-site estimate, having questions answered, and the installation was done promptly and professionally. Chris was very patient and helpful as we decided on the appropriate height for each fixture and happily made adjustments-a real pleasure to work with. We would definitely use them again.

It went well. Jeremy and Gabriel (and later Dustin) came in to do the work on one of the coldest days of the year. They were very professional and what they were doing, showed me the cracked exchangers. Working with the front office was also great; Peggy and David were very responsive and thorough in explaining things and helping me with the scheduling and financing end of things. I would have wanted the concrete patch to be a little more "finished" but it's doing the job and the work appears very thorough. I would easily recommend this business to others.

Jeremy was great. I woke up with no heat, and I called several companies, including my usual one, who supposedly had emergency service. Jeremy called me back right away and was able to get to my house within a couple of hours. A couple of the companies I left messages with didn’t even bother to call me back, including the one I usually use. Jeremy patiently explained the problem to me and gave me a few tips. I will be switching to Stafford Home Service from now on.
