The one day of the year when you absolutely cannot screw up a delivery, they did. When I called to complain, they refused to accept responsibility for their non-performance saying it was a busy day and they "have over 500 deliveries to make."
Well, if you can't deliver, maybe you shouldn't take the order... And the curtness with which I was told was my money would be refunded was unprofessional; particularly for a repeat customer. Yes, I was irritated and it came through on the phone. However, I wasn't the one who screwed things up and I had every right to be p***** off.
To rub salt in the wound, at 6:04 pm on that Valentine's evening, I get an email confirming delivery, a delivery which would have been impossible to perform since the office was closed.
Getting my money back; or having a makeup delivery on February 15 is not sufficient recompense. This florist will not be getting any more of my business.
