school, he wasn't at Salon Intrigue then. When he first started out, it took probably four hours to do my nails. Back then it was called Armans. We were able to have wine and we could smoke in there, it was like a little spa treatment. Everybody comments on my nails. They are not thick, I hadn't been there for seven weeks and I had broken a nails but, nothing lifted, nothing like a fungus or anything. They clean their equipment, the brushes, tools, they clean them. A lot of these other places don't.

They are very good. Jim is the owner. I have been going to Jim for my nails for at least 36 years now. He is one of the best. Amy really knows how to cut hair as well. It is very clean, and they are on top of keeping the equipment sanitized.

Molly gives the BEST hair color and cut I have ever had! And Ce-Ce, the receptionist is great too! Highly recommend Molly!

I have been going to Salon Intrigue for years--the front desk staff are delightful and welcoming, the owner a hoot! My stylists are Elle for haircut and Ginnelle for color. I've been going to these two gals for over 10 years and they are a great team and very professional. I get compliments on my hair often and appreciate the skill these two gals have to help make me look my best. There are many good stylists at this salon and they recently expanded to offer other services.

I have been going to Salon Intrigue for over 10 years and they always do a great job. 'CC' runs a very good 'front of the house' and is very personable when she (and others) greet you for your appointment. They always have coffee, tea and goodies on hand. Elle Mueller cuts my hair, Ginnelle Ott-Edgett does my color. Both women have exquisite skills and I followed them to 'Intrigue' from Juut. Cuts have cost $80 (w/ tip) and color ~$150 (w/ tip). There are many fabulous staff here and I would highly recommend this salon!

Today I had the ultimate pleasure of experiencing one of SaraJane's facials at Salon Intrigue near Lake Calhoun! I am talking, facial joy! Have you ever wanted to put your bare feet in a beautiful bowl filled with rose petals? This was how my facial started! It was absolutely lovely! Then she massaged my feet! Just when I thought I'd blackout from the bliss I felt with the whole foot action, SaraJane quietly appeared at my head and began her work. Sara's work is focused. She has one thing on her mind and that ONE thing is... YOU or in this case ME! I will never want to be without one of her facials again! SaraJane is gifted with the ability to read your skin and come up with the exactly perfect elixir (my word) for your skin type! She is very intuitive in the way she works, as she glides different skin enhancing substances across your face. My facial was all about moisture and anti-aging! SaraJane applied all kinds of delicious real fruit and vegetable masks to my skin! This was FRESH ORGANIC! There was actually the option of using natural ingredients!! Super exciting! Then there was the hand massage...while the mask was busy nurturing my skin. Sara is a five star, every time, exceptional service provider. Her facials are excellent! If I had questions about any of the facial properties of the products she was using, she had knowledgeable and informative answers. There IS one other BEST part of my facial with Sara....are you ready for it?....YOU SHOULD SEE MY SKIN! Some words I used were...”Glowing! Radiant! Alive! Soft!” My face looked like I had gone back in time a little. I smiled for the rest of the day. You are going to want to have SaraJane get her hands on you! P.S. The woman has expert skills when it comes to waxing too! Absolutely AWESOME experience! As to the salon, everybody seems to consistently leave looking incredibly good! The staff are always friendly and someone is always immediately interested in knowing if they can help you as soon as you walk in! And, they are smiling when they ask you this! Love the customer service! The shop is always hopping with activity and everyone seems to be highly anticipating the services they come here for! The only downside, if there was to be a downside, is that you must always remember to either have cash or bring your checkbook! They don't take credit cards. I also got a dreamy pedicure from Mykal. Mykal has personality - he has the uncanny ability to get you to want to share with him everything you know, even if it's confidential!! It's a total treat fest getting a pedicure from Mykal! Mykal can engage anybody into conversation. He's got this way of talking to you so you forget about the fact that he's doing some type of sanding on the crusty areas of your feet! After experiencing Mykal it will be hard to even think of going to somebody else! This experience definitely went well too! My feet were feminine again and I had a blast having my feet attended to by Mykal!
