Very professional and thorough.

This is our second review for Dave Taurinskas of Reassurance Home Inspection. (612) 701-9672 Due to Covid19, and everyone buying new homes with the great rates, Dave is a little busy, but that does not stop him from taking time to talk to you on the phone. Trust us when we say he is very much worth the wait if you want the job done correctly. As per our first review, our home fell through and we moved on with our search. We found a home that we liked, built in 1985. We called Dave, and right away he remembered us. He was willing to work with our schedule to fit us in to his busy schedule. Once again Dave was amazing. He spent 4 hours going through the home. Very detailed, professional, and great pictures of the issues. When we arrived to the home he took us around the outside of the home, explaining all concerns in detail. Inside the home he did the same, and when my wife and I had any questions he patiently took the time to make sure we understood whatever the issue was. Both my wife and I cannot say enough about Dave. I can honestly say that we both have learned things that we thought we knew. Thanks Dave ☺ If you want the job done right, save you money in the long run, then you need to give Dave a call. You won’t be disappointed. REVIEWS ON GOOGLE AS WELL.

Very professional. Really know their stuff. Was able to get great detail about the house. Able to explain any issues and point out things that need to be fixed and give recommendations on how to help improve things in the house.

He was courteous and nice. Very talkative. A little too thorough which would be nice if it wasn't some things that really didn't matter or were clearly a lapse in judgement by the homeowners. Could have put those things in a "notes" section and not in the report making it a 70 page report. It was literally a 70 page report. Overall good to know stuff and helpful. Polite and answered any questions we had. Offered for us to call him whenever we needed in the future with any questions.

Very thorough

Dave was the most thorough home inspector I have ever used. He even included pictures so we could see exactly what needed to be done. He also has a website with names of people he trusts to do any job you need done. Most of these people will also give you a discount if you use them. He also makes suggestions on what products to use that work well in home repair. To top it off his price was lower than the other estimates I got. If I called him today to ask a question, he would be happy to take my call. This is one smart man!

Dave was beyond responsive. He answered the phone on a Sunday morning, when I simply planned to leave a message. Despite being very busy, he worked us in by that Wednesday. He did a 4 hour inspection, after which we met him and he explained the important details of our inspection for over an hour. He was very open to answering all of our questions and was clear that we would be able to use him as a resource, ongoing. He emailed a very well organized and easy to ready, 65+ page written report a day later with every detail of his inspection. I found him on Angies List and called because he had a couple of good reviews and was the nearest to us, because we were on a short timeline. He was so much better than the fellow I hired for my first home purchase. Dave is ideal for a first time home-buyer. We have now been in our home for 8 months and have heeded every bit of advice he gave. Our contractors haven't disagreed with anything.

Mr Taurinskas is focused, knowledgeable, and a straightforward communicator. He seems to love his work, and has an attitude of stewardship. The man for the job.

Dave is an excellent inspector. He took time during our walkthrough to point out every issue he found with the house, even the little ones. Very good experience. He made sure that he answered all our questions, and stressed that we don't hesitate to contact him in the future with any home maintenance questions. Would certainly not hesitate to hire again.

I called several home inspectors and chose Dave based on our phone conversation and price. I appreciated his candor before I selected his company to do the work, as well as throughout the inspection process. Over the years, I have worked with several home inspectors, and I feel Dave gave me the most useful information of any of them.
Although many home inspectors suggest the client spend the entire inspection time with the inspector, Dave said he preferred to spend the first 2 or 3 hours by himself completely focusing on getting to know the property. Then he would spend as much time as needed to talk with the client about what he found. When I arrived, he was finishing up his inspection. We spent the next 1 1/2 hours together going through the house as he pointed out all the areas that needed review, repair, replacement and monitoring. He also pointed out things that were positive in the property. He answered all my questions and assured me of his availability anytime in the future that I may have questions.

Dave goes above and beyond his duties as a home inspector and truly wants the prospective home-buyer to be fully aware of all issues before making such a huge purchase. I am more knowledgable about what to look for in home safety because of Dave. Dave made me feel confident in the purchase of my home because he was so thorough and honest... and all for a very fair price!
