They came out in 24 hours with a bid, and began work a day later. The crew came on a Saturday to finish rough-in work. It was a pleasure to work with the crew. After 94 years of having sub-standard plumbing, everything is now up to 21st century standards. Good quality costs money, but it is worth it.

Not only was he on time, but he called to ask if he could come early! He was a friendly, personable guy, and he didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing that tub spouts wear out. It was a very fair price. I won't hesitate to use them again.

I decided to have a professional do this instead of trying to tackle it myself. I am very glad I did, and I am very glad that I chose Rand Lane & Sons. They did a thorough and professional job. I was surprised that did not have the type of replacement piece needed to do best job (would require another return trip; might still do that work myself); I had already purchased and the tech used some replacement parts; the tech was patient and diligent; the repair effected was adequate, though, as stated, might do some additional work myself; tech was personable.

The plumber arrived on time, was very friendly, performed the work quickly and offered advice as to how to avoid having that clog in the future. It was great!

Al was very knowledgeable and efficient. I was able to schedule a plumber with one day notice. The office help was very friendly. Home Depot charges $260.00 for replacing a toilet. Without a coupon with Randy Lane I would have paid around $174.00. Excellent service and price. Great job!

Excellent. Jim did the work with an assistant. They arrived early on the expected date and finished the job in 90 minutes. They were competent, seemed very knowledgeable (Jim figured out where the leak was from within the first 15 min). On top of all that, we got a 10% discount based on Angie's list. Will definitely call them again if needed.

The job took 5 minutes - they just had to tighten a washer. Due to the minimum charge requirements it still cost $90. Staff is very courteous and professional.

Al was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He quickly installed the new faucet and replaced the supply line, all in an hour's time. I am very happy!

Extremely pleased with their work - they came when they said and got the work done without delay. In fact, they saved me over $300. I had thought that one of my toilets needed to be replaced and had actually purchased a replacement. Al told me he could repair my existing toilet and there was no need for a new one. I called late on a Friday, and the soonest they could come out was the following Tuesday at 11 AM. At 1 PM the plumber called and said his first job wasn't going well and it looked like it was going to take the rest of the day, so they'd have to reschedule my appointment. Half an hour later their scheduling department called, and said the earliest they could probably come was the following Tuesday, but if someone got free on Saturday, they'd send him out. Friday morning I got a suprise call saying they had an unexpected opening, and could they come out now? All in all, very professionally handled given the unexpected delay. The plumber, Mike, did an excellent job and kept the plaster damage to a minimum, which was much appreciated.

Plumber called to inform that he was on the way at scheduled start time. He called again when he was close and arrived 1 hour late. Al was very polite and workman-like. Two hours later, the work was complete.

He was good! He did a good job. They weren't over priced either!

Overall, I was very pleased with the price and workmanship. I had a bid from another well-respected plumbing company that was more than twice the amount charged by Randy Lane. Part of the difference in price was due to Randy Lane's estimator thinking of a simpler was to do the job. The plumber that did the work was courteous and thoughtful. When I asked a technical question about the gas supply pressure, he investigated and modified his initial plan to assure the pressure met the spec of the stove manufacturer, and he did so cheerfully. Overall, this was a very good experience. I often do my own plumbing work, but I will not hesitate to contact Randy Lane for any job I don't wish to tackle myself.

Person on the phone was polite, but not very helpful when it came to getting an understanding as to how much the repair was going to cost and how it would proceed. I ended up using a different plumber who cost 1/2 as much and who was able to give us a price range as well as best and worst case scenario for fixing the problem.

I had a horrible experience with a different plumbing company, so I was hesitant to call another one. I used Angie's List this time, got a $10 discount, and received excellent service. They had to come back out to fix something minor, but even then they were out within an hour of my call and fixed it right away. That kind of quick response and pride in the job is hard to find. I will use them again.

Lane and Son's were wonderful. They figured out immediately what was wrong and made sure I got the help I needed. I would certainly call them for future plumbing needs.

Two plumbers came over and at first I was a little concerned that they would not be able to diagnose my problem (deep gurgling noises when water was draining out of bathroom sink & tub). However, lead plumber pieced the puzzle together and determined I had a "Denver cross" (my pipes were coming together in a cross formation) and that it must be clogged. Sure enough, he was exactly correct, the vent stack was completely plugged with 90 years of debris. He installed a new piece of pipe and a clean out trap. Solved my problem! Now on to find someone to repair the wall.
