 + -1 morePodany's customer service is terrible and their products are obviously not of good quality. I state this because the manager was afraid that if he opened a new box that the next chair would be defective as well. This was his reason for not exchanging my broken chair for a new one. I have communicated my experience and concerns in a letter, to the owner of the store but to date, not a single Podany's representative has contacted me to resolve this issue. This atrocious experience is the worst customer service I have ever received.
Description of Work: On June 23rd, 2006 I purchased a tall architect's chair for my office, which I was still moving into. One week later, my office was finished and I could start using chair. After two weeks of use, I noticed that the right side of my back was hurting a lot. It was shortly after that I noticed that the chair was tilting subtly, but significantly, to the left and that was the cause. Floor was level, and the chair was not. I went back to Podany's with chair only 20 days after purchase. They would not exchange for another nor would they refund my money. The manager on duty evidenced less than zero concern about defective chair or my back problem as a result of their substandard merchandise. I was told to wait a week for chair to be repaired. I was also told that the repair may not fix the problem and if it didn't, they would only give me a store credit for furniture I do not need.
