Very punctual, showed up and plowed the snow very well. He was able to come in within a few
hours of my phone call.

There was no work performed yet.

I purchaed a Big Deal to check my roof and make some repairs.  Not only did they do that, they installed a chimey cap I had purchased while they were up there and reinstalled a turbine vent that had come loose, but not before getting out the squirrel that had gone in through the vent hole.

Chris does a really nice job explaining what needs to be done.  He did a nice job communicating with us during the project.    They are very focused on quality and stand behind their work.  We ran into a few minor issues, but Chris was very responsive and took care of the issues right away.
They take a lot of pride in their work which can be hard to find these days.
We did get a second opinion and they concluded at least half of the roof and fascia need repair.  We did decide to do the entire roof rather than half.  The prices of the two companies were competitive.  We went with Patrick Miller because of their reviews and our comfort level with Chris.

I wasn't home during the time the company came to visit my house, so I didn't get to meet the team of people or person. I guess he did some sealing of leaks and told me I needed more work done on the roof for the leak. He later emailed me an estimate for that project if I wanted to pursue it in the future.

I left a message for Patrick to set up a time to come take a look at my roof; he was quick to respond and we set up an appointment.  He was timely, professional and was willing to answer questions.  I purchased the "Big Deal" for a roofing assessment.  While he was on my roof to look it over, he did plug up some areas with caulking.  Though my roof is fine, Patrick noticed that my chimney was in need of some major repair in the next 1-2 years.  He offered to write up an estimate at a later date if I wanted.  No pressure, just information, which is what I wanted.
When I am ready to have my chimney repaired, I will definitely contact him for an estimate.  He has a good manner about him and he knows his business.

Pat showed up on time, very professional, did look at some things on the roof, but didn't have a tall enough ladder to get up to the roof on the back of the house.  I asked him for a proposal to do some repair work on some areas where the house and roof came together (some gaps) and also to replace some wood facia on the side of the house.  He never got back to me.  Very disappointing.  He clearly was looking for large jobs.  Mine was pretty small.  Wouldn't use him again.

This company did an outstanding job and will need recommend them to anyone.

It went well. Chris wrote up the estimate and the project was seamless from start to finish. Chris explained the fact that Patrick construction was a master shingler and the quality of the work was pure craftsmanship. He was correct. All the workers were respectful and their cleanup was superb! Thank you!

It went really well. Chris and his crew worked really hard and put a really nice roof on. The were were very conscientious  and cleaned up  the yard after finishing. Cris was determined that we  were happy with the work performed.

I missed the late September/early October deadline for the "Big Deal'  roof maintenance and sealing, but decided to have Patrick inspect my roof at the full price anyway because of a few concerns I had. Patrick came on time and got right to work. He quickly looked over my roof and vents and sealed about 6 nails. He even took pictures to show me the areas I was concerned about and reassured me that my roof was in good condition. To my surprise, he said that there was no charge for the job. What a awesome
surprise! This job could have cost me $399 (full price). On top of all this, he was courteous, very professional, and helpful.  If I decide to have my gutters upgraded, I would not hesitate to call him.

Pat was very nice to work with he gave us an honest answer on the condition of our roof and did not try to sell us anything we did not need.  I will give Pat a call when I need to have more work done on my roof.

Patrick Miller Construction kinda seemed arrogant. His prices were extraordinarily high. He didn't listen to what I wanted. The remarks I found on Angie's List about him were right. He estimated $2300 higher than the other company.

Sealed, patched the roof and provided the report. It was a deal through Angie's List. Good communication

Date was set for a presentation and P. Miller's individual was prompt, knowlegeable and courteous.
I was NOT able to convince my association's board that they should approve the purchase of a new entry door.

These are beautiful doors - made to last a lifetime with the warranty to back it.
Had to take another path.

The guy who came out was on time and very friendly.  He spoke to my wife about what he found and showed pictures.  He said the roof would likely need to be replaced.  I tried calling him to understand his recommendation and get a quote for the recommended work my self.  He was pretty difficult to get ahold of and in the beginning would never answer the phone and only call me back while I was at work despite my leaving my work hours on his voicemail.  We finally did connect and he was very pleasant on the phone and even emailed the pictures he took to me.  He recommended the new roof and I asked for a quote -- he said he would need to put that information together.  I said ok and asked him to email it to me.  After three weeks and asking several times over the phone and via email for the information, he has refused to give me a quote.  He originally wanted to meet even though I told him, that probably wouldn't work out given how hard it had been to even get him on the phone.  Once he found out that was the case, he called several times asking to stop by.  I told him that I would not be home when he was asking to stop.  So he continued to call another few times, but at this point, I wasn't interested in having them do the work.  It's this simple, when a customer asks for a quote -- give it to them.  Had he just given me the quote over the phone the first time or via email the several times I asked, he likely would have been hired.  If it was that hard to get a quote, how difficult would it have been actually working with them?

In the past I have had awful luck with contractors, not always the contractor themselves but who shows up at your door on any given day. This time I was looking for someone who had a majority of their own equipment & hopefully a high % of staff on payroll. Patrick Miller Construction was it!! Employee's & hires were phenomenal. Patrick & his crew (Chris was awesome) were professional from start to finish in every aspect, you can tell they are invested into the company. They executed all repairs ahead of schedule & went the extra mile in dealing with the insurance adjuster & quickly facilitated all paperwork required to make sure claims went thru. I was surprised how many times Patrick was on site despite the amount of jobs they had going on at the time. Usually no matter what, you as a homeowner will have some work to do upon storm damage happening. The only thing I had to do was sweep some sheet rock dust out of my garage. Upon Patrick learning this his right hand man Chris, not some temp, came out & power-washed my garage floor. I can attest they know their trade, the industry, take pride in the work being completed correctly & look forward to someday utilizing his services

The work was done quickly and cleanly

The contractor showed up and explained what the would do. After examining the roof and sealing any/all areas, he came down off the roof and showed me before and after photos of any work he performed. He made recommendations regarding our chimney and asked if I wanted a quote on those repairs. I was never pressured to buy any more services. He was pleased with the condition of our roof and did not try to sell me anything I did not need.

A year ago Patrick came out and gave us an estimate on the replacement of our rotting frame and door.  We had to put the project off until this year because we decided to remove the decking around the door ourselves.  Patrick came out again July 30th of this year and we came up with a different estimate without the deck removal and added the window removal and siding repair.  On August 15th Patrick and Phil came right on time and performed a miracle on our door and siding.  They tore off the rotting frame and reframed in a more appropriate place, they installed a quality steel door that looked fantastic, they removed the window that should not have been and repaired the framing and house board and sided the house.  When they were done they cleaned up perfectly.  Both Patrick and Phil were fun to talk to, had great ideas, used quality materials, worked hard all day and answered all our questions.  We are extremely happy with their work.

Unfortunately, my finances at the time prevented me from proceeding with this project.  However, I do hope to do this project, with Patrick, in the future.
