 + 8 moreWork was complete in less than 2 months--quite amazing! And the finished product is wonderful! Our goal was to be complete before Christmas. Patricia's connections with her subcontractors (flooring, cabinet, and granite professionals) was evident. They were very responsive to her requests even in a busy season where everyone wants their work complete. Patricia made the limitless options seem much more bearable. We discussed options and she brought us samples and let us choose. It sounded like she would adjust this based on her client (some people would prefer all options and others would want her just to pick one). While I know she had other clients to balance, I always felt like we had her full attention throughout the project. Now that the kitchen and our smaller design changes throughout the house are complete, I am thrilled with the results. The house and the kitchen flow much better. The kitchen is much more functional and it is far more beautiful than before.
Description of Work: Patricia helped us rearrange furniture in our home and helped us choose paint colors. Her ideas of flow and colors were wonderful. She also rearranged bookcases all in preparation for putting our house on the market. Patricia also served as a designer and contractor as we remodeled our kitchen. She presented the design idea in it's entirety and executed to completion. The scope of the work included changing from a U-shaped kitchen design to a more open floor plan. We needed new flooring (wood), additional custom cabinetry to match existing (included an island, pantry, and an enclosure for the refrigerator), new lighting, new granite countertops, sink, and faucet. Our scope grew to include new flooring in our mudroom and refinishing the wood in our adjoining study. Patricia also made recommendations on details such as colors, materials, granite, and cabinet pulls. Patricia provided professionals to complete all work and kept deliverables on schedule.
