"Hello [Member Name Removed]. I am very sorry that you were not happy with the price we charged for repairing your zipper. It appears that the price included replacing the zipper head and slider which also requires removing the seam at the base of the zipper and then re-sewing it. We always offer an estimate of repair before we go ahead with it. But, still, if you are unhappy, please stop into the store and we will gladly offer $30.00 off any new merchandise in our store. Please present your receipt or a copy of this paragraph to me, Susan Oxman. We always strive for customer satisfaction. Thank you."

Oxman's has Saturday hours, so it was convenient to drop the suitcase off. The suitcase was done and ready for pick up in a week. The case looked great when I picked it up. It seemed a little expensive--had it cost any more, I would have been more likely to replace the suitcase rather than repair it.

The quality of the work was well done. They had to undo and re-stitch. My husband thought it was a little pricey. I would rate them overall a B. I would use them again in the future.

They not only repaired the damage but fixed the design flaw that allowed the bottom half to be ripped off. The repairs were done quickly for the price quoted and they were professional all the way. So at this point it is better than new.

Susan repaired a backpack of mine which had come apart near the zipper. She fixed it in such a way that the zipper did not need to be replaced. The backpack has since weathered many more months of school. I will return to Oxman's if any of my other pieces of luggage ever need repair.

After reviewing the luggage Susan determined that there were structural problems with the suitcases, and my money would be better spent on new ones. She pointed out specific problems and showed me things to look for in a case. She also had several high quality ones there to show me, at competitive prices (I later checked on the internet).

I brought the suitcase in for repair. They said it would be a week and they would call me when it was ready. I ended up calling them to find out if the repairs were made. When I picked the suitcase up, the salesperson was helpful and friendly. There is also a nice assortment of travel accessories in the store and I ended up buying another small bag. The only real difficulty is parking. There are meters in front and parking in the back if you can figure out how to get to it.
