Minnesota Regrout & Tile

Zenon came to my house on a Saturday a few days after contacting him about a few issues I was having in a tiled shower and bathroom.  He educated me on why the issues were happening and recommended solutions.  He encouraged me to try to fix it myself since the primary solutions would not be difficult, telling me the exact products to use and steps to take.  He even offered to call a supplier and order the proper color of a product for me to purchase.  While these fixes won't fix the poor craftsmanship by the original shower installer (tile and curb slanting out rather than toward the drain...they did not install it), he didn't think the cost of ripping out the floor and curb was merited in my situation and recommended other solutions first.  It was nice to have an honest person not try to push a sale.  I will certainly call again for any tile issues in the future and would be happy to hire him if the price is right.

We have used them twice and i am getting a bid for the third job. They are outstanding.

The tile person was supposed to show up at 9:00 to meet one of us and explain what to do. He showed up almost 2 hours early, and  we had to run home from work to meet him. When we explained the timing issue, he went back into his car, as if to wait until the correct time. His English was not at the level where communication was easy, and we convinced him to come back into the house and start working.
We had an issue with the shower where we suspected some leaking and mold, and thought that they would look into this issue and repair and re-grout, but we just got a re-grout. We did not hear about any investigative work done, and if there was mold behind the tile, it's probably still there.
The job took 2 days, and when we could use the shower again, it leaked into the floor below (ceiling was dropping). We explained what was happening and the owner stopped in to look into it. It seemed as though the lack of moisture during the repair/dry period, the seal around the drain had shrunk and water was getting around the drain. He fixed it for us at no charge.
They did a great job at the re-grout. The communication could have been a little better.

Contractor was a little tardy 1 day.  Otherwise, great work.  Workers respected the integrity of the historic bathroom trying hard to salvage the irreplaceable tile.  Cleaned up well. The owner came to the job site to meet me and review the work.

We had an ugly old kitchen that I never thought could look nice.  We decided to have granite counter tops installed but had to have the old and dated tile backsplash removed first. Then Ivan went to work creating his masterpiece, a beautiful Travertine tile backsplash. Zenon's crew is incredible.  They are artists and perfectionists. My ugly outdated kitchen looks incredible now.  In addition, they prep the area well with tarps and plastic wrap and then clean everything up at the end of each day.  That is something you don't see anymore, quality work with great customer service.  Our next project with them is in 2 weeks, we are having an entire bathroom redone.  I would not use anyone else.  Kudos to Zenon, Ivan and Alex.

His two employees, Ivan and Alex were awesome.  They are true artists.  They acid washed the tile and grout and then applied two coats of a new color.  The loose tiles in the bath had to be removed and reset. All missing or damaged grout was repaired and/or replaced.  The end result looked amazing.  Both areas look new and the tile does not looked dated anymore. The most important of all is that they draped the areas well and cleaned up everything at the end of each day.  I would highly recommend them, they are true professionals.  Even the staff at "The Tile Shop" spoke very highly of Zenon and his company. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

The experience was pretty good. Generally it was a pretty good job overall. I don't really feel strongly one way or the other.

Our workman, Alex, was impressively professional and did wonderful work. It looks beautiful! I would definitely recommend the company. 

We had some chipped grout, which he fixed( did not need to redo all the grout). We had one bathroom that needed to have the grout cleaned and resealed. The second bathroom, he resealed, but said it did not need a big cleaning. Very reasonably priced and quick.

Returned calls promptly. Project done within one week of my initial call. Gave good design advice. Looks beautiful. Owner came to check on work. Gave info on upkeep and what to do if any concern in future.

While we were not able to work with Zenon because of timing issues, I was very impressed with Zenon's responsiveness, expertise and pricing.  I will keep in him my rolodex!

Somewhat slow on some communication links. Arrived when originally scheduled, though had missed message that scheduled time was not optimal. We were able to adjust and the job was done professionally and was of very high quality. What was to be accomplished was clearly communicated and the timing of the need for optimization was as well. The job site was well cleaned up and the site was left optimally ready for a tub resurfacing. We would recommend to others without reservation.

Excellent advice on design, choice of materials, aesthetic.  Workers were outstanding--particularly Piotr and Ivon for very clean, considerate demolition, installation of drain and plumbing.  Peter (Pavel) did some truly outstanding work with the cutting and installation of difficult large stone in a diagonal pattern.  I was truly impressed by all the work and interface with the owner, Zenon start to finish.

I thought they did excellent work. It was a very pleasant experience. Alex was the one who did the work and he was very good.

Owner wanted to come "preview job to get proper materials."  Told us he'd call in a day or two to schedule work; never heard from him again.

Owner sent letter of apology and returned in full our Groupon purchase price.

I removed the carpet and the floor was in a condition that they had to spend a day preparing the floor to be tiled.  It took them five days to finish the job.  They use a grout and a sealant that is permeant and will not require resealing.  There is a five year warranty on the entire job.  Angel, the man who did the work, was always on time, worked so hard and did a great job.  I was steered in the right direction in my selection of the tile by the owner of the company.  I am very pleased with the results.

I contacted Zenon to come take a look at some grout that needed repair, cleaning and sealing in my home. He was able to come that week and showed up time. Nice guy and seemed to know grout pretty well. He said he'd call me with an estimate, and after a week without hearing from him, I called to check on it. It appeared he'd forgotten - he apologized and said things had been really busy for him, which I understand, so I overlooked it. I reminded him of what the job entailed, he gave me an over the phone quote for $750, and I scheduled with him for Dec 17 - which was about 3 weeks out. I called him on Dec 16 to confirm, and he then said he'd booked me for the 18-19, which was definitely not what we'd arranged. Very frustrating as I'd altogether waited a month for the service, arranged to have everyone out of the house on that day, and cannot accommodate the change in scheduling. Zenon is a nice guy, though I can't speak to the quality of his work, the scheduling and follow-through left much to be desired.
