Vehicle smelled terrible inside like coolant. They claimed they couldn't find anything wrong and that the best tech looked at it. This isn't the first time they've told me they couldn't find a problem (and after bringing to independent Rover mechanic, problems were found and fixed appropriately).

My spouse would take it in, they would drive it and report no problem heard or found. They might leave a message on the answering machine, or maybe not, for weeks at a time. Try try again; on the next occasion spouse drove the car with the mechanic, who said "OK, that's a transmisison noise." Still no fix, though maybe they looked harder. All this was under extended warranty so you'd think they'd work on it. An actual transmission mechanic has since fixed the problem.
