Every thing went well from the start to finish. Friendly, efficient stress people and installers. Very satisfied. Also did a window at daughter’s home before ours. All Good.

EXCELLENT. Upon inspection, they discovered the same issue we did. They stayed as long as it took to understand the issue and, ostensibly, were only there to offer an estimate. However, they actually fixed the issue and we never needed the estimate. I would highly highly recommend Pane in the Glass. Great problem solving. Professional. Informative. Courteous.

Salesman was competent and gave me several options to match these windows to windows that were installed earlier by a different contractor (and different manufacturer that has since gone out of business - Peachtree). Crew was very good and workmanship was fine. The only concern and dropping of grade for professionalism I that I asked one of the crew when they arrived at the house if a building permit had been obtained and if I could see a copy of it. This crew member said he couldn't see a reason why the permit wouldn't have been pulled but he didn't have a paper copy of it to post at the job site as my city requires. I had discussed this with the salesman initially at the time the contract was signed for the work and he told me that the permit would be pulled and I would pay for this separately at the time of installation as he didn't know how much my city charged so this fee would not be part of the bid/contract amount. On the day the windows were installed and I had a final run through with the foreman before paying the remaining balance (we had put down 50% with the remainder due at installation), I asked again if a permit had been pulled and how much I owed for the permit fee. The foreman wasn't too concerned that apparently a building permit had not been pulled and said "all the city does is come in and see if you have enough smoke detectors so I shouldn't worry about it". I know this is not true as other inspections by my city have been quite detailed. I still don't know if a permit has been pulled. but I wasn't charged for one so I am going to assume that it was not done. I addition, these windows have a "lifetime guarantee" and the foreman told us that we would get the manufacturer's warranty paperwork within several days. It has now been over a month and no paperwork has been received. In spite of the good salesman and installation crew, I can't recommend this contractor due to their rather cavalier attitude toward following building rules set out by my city and the fact that they never provided any written confirmation of warranty of materials as promised.

The process was very smooth. Everyone we worked with was very responsive, which was refreshing since many of the other companies I called did not want to bother with only replacing one window. The quote came back only a couple of hours after we met on a Friday afternoon. The price was reasonable and their timeline was shorter than the competitors I received quotes from. There was a minor mix up in the window that came (to be clear, a packing error by the window company and not A Pane in the Glass), but they were able to locate my window and get a new maintenance window scheduled very quickly. Adam and the rest of the crew installing the window were great to work with and kept me informed throughout the process. I'd highly recommend this company.

We were very pleased with A Pane in the Glass. Right from the beginning, Kevin was very professional with the evaluation of our project and very detailed in explaining what they would be doing and the products that they offer. We even kept asking for additional services, such as the front door, and they were very open to discussing it and working it into the project.
The crew that performed the project was very nice and friendly. We appreciated the updates during the day and when they would be returning the next day. We also appreciated how nice they were to our 2 yr old lab and 9 month old son. The small little things show that the people who work for the company are great people.
Our project did take a little longer than the estimated time, mainly since our house is close to 100 yrs old. They were great at accommodating us into their busy schedule and getting the project finished quickly.
We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends and family.

We unfortunately broke a window right before a holiday trip. It was a long wait to get several companies to even come look. Kevin from Pane in the Glass came out quickly and provided an estimate and accurate timing for install. Kevin kept in touch throughout the process and even though we had a small issue with the replacement glass, it was fixed quickly without extra cost to us. Really great to work with.

I needed repair on an emergency basis as I am going to be out of town for the next week. I called Pane in the Glass and was immediately scheduled for a home evaluation and estimate. Kevin arrived promptly at the scheduled time and carefully explained what most likely would have to be done and what he estimated the cost would be. The estimate turned out to be not only reasonable but spot on. No extras, no surprises and the full nature of the problem couldn't be known for sure until the siding was removed. Casey and Spencer arrived at the scheduled time two days later and spent two and a half hours resolving the problem. Kevin checked in with them at the start to make sure we are all on the same page. They did the repair, explained in detail all that they did and cleaned up well when they were done. Everyone I dealt with in this company was friendly, respectful and seemed genuinely eager to accommodate the needs of their customers. I definitely recommend them and I would/will hire them again.

A Pane in the Glass did a full replacement of all my original double-hung windows, replaced 2 patio doors, and some custom insulated glass along with siding work on my 1920's house. The crew was extremely professional and always kept the job site clean and neat. They worked hard to stay within my budget and were very reasonably priced. The quality of the materials used and the craftsmanship was outstanding. The project was completed on time and within the original bid! I highly recommend this company as the experience was great.

We had several windows replaced in our older (built 1957) house.  The windows were unique sizes, and some were difficult to remove.  All work was done quickly, neatly and the end results were exactly what we were looking for.  We will be using them again as we have more windows that need replacing, and we are very satisfied with the value and quality of the work.

Wanted bay window repaired, but was told that may not be an option, asked for estimate to replace window along with several basement window replacements and installation of egress window. Was told we would get estimate by end of week but heard nothing. Left several voicemail messages that went unanswered, provided no further information contact.

"Hi [Member Name Removed], I am very sorry about this and am not sure what happened. I know Justin was working with you on this and at one point he was having trouble getting numbers back on the Marvin windows. He claims he sent a proposal over but that clearly did not happen so I apologize on his behalf. As far as the repeated calls with no return call, these were not coming to the work phone, if these calls were made to Justin's personal cell and he was not returning your calls I sincerely apologize, we have had a long discussion about his. He is normally right on top of this stuff. It baffles me that this would happened, we depend on getting projects to make a living and for us to get a bad review over a project we did not bid out is horrible. I am beyond frustrated that this happened. I know it is most likely to late but if there is any way I could personally take care of this step by step I would be more than happy to. In an effort to make things right I would bid your project at 50% of our normal cost. Sincerely, Allen D. The sales person and employees were pleasant.  Sales person knew immediately I didn't need a new window as some others had suggested.
The reason I dinged their score is becasue they dinged my brand new wood door by opening it with the corner of the window panes as they brought them in the house to install.  The door needed to be closed to keep the cats in and the cold air out while they worked outside for a half hour.
The lack of care resulted in 2 divots in my wood door and white paint transferred from window frame to the mahogany dark wood.

I couldn't have been happier with A Pane in the Glass from the first visit by Justin and throughout the entire construction project.   We were looking for replacement windows to replace our original 1950's windows.  Living on a very busy road - reduction of noise was so much more important than energy efficiency.  Justin was the only sales rep who seemed to understand that.  He talked with us for quite awhile to understand what we needed, he then made recommendations, showed us a couple of samples and finished with an itemized estimate.  He is the only rep we talked to who understood what we needed.

About 6 weeks later our windows were in and construction began.  The first day was a crew of 4 or 5 men who were respectful, efficient and very talented in what they did.  They covered all the floors with drop cloths and within the first hour they had removed several of the old windows and were already working on inserting new.  They were even friendly with our dog Daisy - every single worker talked to her when they came through.  She relaxed right away.

The next two days were pretty much the same but with only 2 - 3 men.  By the end of the 2nd day all the windows had been replaced, on the 3rd day they did most of the finishing and worked on the outside.   That 3rd day the weather got pretty bad so they wrapped up but returned within a week to finish up.

I love our new windows.  We can barely hear the traffic outside now - in the past it could be so loud that you couldn't hear the television.  I highly recommend A Pane in the Glass - they were the best company we have worked with in a long time.

We did have a couple questions about our windows after the installation - Justin came out that very afternoon to answer our questions.  The customer service we received was outstanding!

I had one broken double hung window that I have been trying to get fixed for some time. I emailed A Pane in the Glass Construction early one afternoon and Allen called me back that evening. I explained I only had one window-not much of a job for him. Despite this he said they would come out and take a look. Two days later they showed up right on time as scheduled, got it fixed in less than an hour. I sincerely appreciate their great service and would use them for any larger job in the future or recommend them to others.
