"Thanks you for the review! Allen D. Hambleton"
The crew that performed the project was very nice and friendly. We appreciated the updates during the day and when they would be returning the next day. We also appreciated how nice they were to our 2 yr old lab and 9 month old son. The small little things show that the people who work for the company are great people.
Our project did take a little longer than the estimated time, mainly since our house is close to 100 yrs old. They were great at accommodating us into their busy schedule and getting the project finished quickly.
We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends and family.
"Hi [Member Name Removed], Thank you sop much for the great review! Enjoy your new windows! Allen D. Hambleton"
"Hi [Member Name Removed], I am very sorry about this and am not sure what happened. I know Justin was working with you on this and at one point he was having trouble getting numbers back on the Marvin windows. He claims he sent a proposal over but that clearly did not happen so I apologize on his behalf. As far as the repeated calls with no return call, these were not coming to the work phone, if these calls were made to Justin's personal cell and he was not returning your calls I sincerely apologize, we have had a long discussion about his. He is normally right on top of this stuff. It baffles me that this would happened, we depend on getting projects to make a living and for us to get a bad review over a project we did not bid out is horrible. I am beyond frustrated that this happened. I know it is most likely to late but if there is any way I could personally take care of this step by step I would be more than happy to. In an effort to make things right I would bid your project at 50% of our normal cost. Sincerely, Allen D. The reason I dinged their score is becasue they dinged my brand new wood door by opening it with the corner of the window panes as they brought them in the house to install. The door needed to be closed to keep the cats in and the cold air out while they worked outside for a half hour.
The lack of care resulted in 2 divots in my wood door and white paint transferred from window frame to the mahogany dark wood.
"Hi [Member Name Removed], I am very sorry to hear about this, it is the first I heard of it. I would like to do something to rectify the problem. I wish I would have known immediately. Allen"
I couldn't have been happier with A Pane in the Glass from the first visit by Justin and throughout the entire construction project. We were looking for replacement windows to replace our original 1950's windows. Living on a very busy road - reduction of noise was so much more important than energy efficiency. Justin was the only sales rep who seemed to understand that. He talked with us for quite awhile to understand what we needed, he then made recommendations, showed us a couple of samples and finished with an itemized estimate. He is the only rep we talked to who understood what we needed.
About 6 weeks later our windows were in and construction began. The first day was a crew of 4 or 5 men who were respectful, efficient and very talented in what they did. They covered all the floors with drop cloths and within the first hour they had removed several of the old windows and were already working on inserting new. They were even friendly with our dog Daisy - every single worker talked to her when they came through. She relaxed right away.
The next two days were pretty much the same but with only 2 - 3 men. By the end of the 2nd day all the windows had been replaced, on the 3rd day they did most of the finishing and worked on the outside. That 3rd day the weather got pretty bad so they wrapped up but returned within a week to finish up.
I love our new windows. We can barely hear the traffic outside now - in the past it could be so loud that you couldn't hear the television. I highly recommend A Pane in the Glass - they were the best company we have worked with in a long time.
We did have a couple questions about our windows after the installation - Justin came out that very afternoon to answer our questions. The customer service we received was outstanding!
