The online scheduling was easy and intuitive to do and made life SO MUCH EASIER than constant phone tag or waiting on hold that you find with so many companies. They called when they were on their way, showed up on time, did the job. Very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Price was dependant on volume. They got to our house, eyeballed our stuff and gave us a price. It seemed in the ballpark. They packed it up and took it away. They were prompt and easy to work with.

They are extremely polite and they are very prompt. They don't want to make me do a thing. I just point and they do it. They are so reasonable. They don't charge by the hour. They just charge by what is loaded. They are very fair. They charged me for a half truck once and it seemed to be pretty full.

I called 1-800-Junk after researching them on Angie's list and viewing their website (it is hard to find the prices, but they are there). I had a rough idea what it would cost to remove some old desks, office panels, and misc materials. They set up a time convenient for me; called when they were ready to come over and gave us an estimate. The estimate was a little lower than my estimate and the final price was closer to my estimate than theirs. We had taken all the debris outside so it was ready to load (our choice to do that). The crew was professional and worked quickly.

Great. They came within a couple of days from my call. They were on time and very professional. I didn't have the stuff separated from the things I wanted to keep. They were good about checking and taking only what I wanted them to. They did all the loading and it went very quickly. The original estimate was higher than the actual cost because it took less space than estimated.

The work that was performed was fine-I have no problem. But I would probably not go back to this company because of the high level of frustration on trying to understand how they price their service. If they gave a "per cubic yard" cost or gave an indication of the size of the truck (on the web page-you can check what a number of different fractions of a truck load look like-but no indication of cubic size of the truck and no indication of cubic size of a pile to stuff). I have another junk hauling job that needs to be done (at a different location) and I have already received a quote on a dumpster. The only thing I would consider doing is calling 1-800-Got-Junk and have them come out for an estimate and then send them away. I know based on the dumpster pricing and the amount of stuff-they will be much higher than getting a dumpster. But it would give me an indication to try to figure out their secretive pricing. In the world of sales-the person selling something should have a goal of taking pain out of a prospective customer's life. In one sense they took the pain out of having a pile of junk in my front yard. In another sense they inserted a lot of pain into my life by not being able to give me any information on how they priced anything until they were at my home.

I called just before noon and less than 4 hours later Derrick and Bryant were here to collect the items. Our main problem was disposing of an old basketball hoop but they made light work of it. What a great service!

I'm not very satisfied. I called to ask questions about how the service worked and ended up booking by phone. I mentioned in the phone call that I wanted to book on-line because I could get a $10.00 coupon. The man told me not to worry, that he would send me two emails, one an order confirmation and one the $10.00 off coupon. I received neither. During the phone call I was told that I would get an exact price at the time that they eyeballed my junk, and was told that they would call me 15 minutes before my promised 2-hour time frame to tell me at what approximate time they would arrive. After I described what was to be removed, I was told it would take about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. My appointment was set up from 1:00 - 3:00. Well, I called about 12:00 to confirm that they had my cell phone number as I was not at the residence, and I was assured that they had the correct number to call me. No call ever came. At about 2:15 I called them and they told me I would get a call back soon. They did call back in about 15 minutes and told me that they would arrive in about 15 minutes, so I left where I was and met them at my apartment. They came with a truck smaller than I expected and it was already half full and not neatly packed in. They came upstairs and looked at what I had and said, "Well, it's at least 1/2 load, maybe 5/8" -- they couldn't give me an exact estimate. I had also been told that I wouldn't need everything boxed up, that they would be glad to remove things from the cupboards, etc. However, when the men were there, they seemed stymied by the fact that I had no boxes or bags to put all the odds and ends in. They were very slow about everything they did, and spent time looking at my things, and asking, "Are you sure you want to get rid of this?" and, "Oh, what's this? Maybe I would like it" and and repeated conversations and discussions about my stuff. I wouldn't have minded if they kept working while doing so, but they were not in any hurry. A lot of the time was spent having to rearrange everything they already had in the truck to fit my stuff in. They ended up taking three hours.

Excellent. Made an appointment online, they called to confirm, and the day of the appointment they called and said they could come early. They arrived with a half full truck, so they put some of my stuff in, empties the truck, and had to come back. They worked hard. The best part is they did what they said they would do. Arrived on time, charged what they said they would charge, and were courteous and efficient.

I booked this job online which was incredibly easy; great website. The afternoon before the job, I received a phone call to confirm my appointment. On the day of the job, the crew called to say they were running a little early and asked if it would be ok to come earlier. When they arrived they looked at the job and gave me an estimate and made sure I understood the pricing. They filled an entire truck in less than an hour. They swept up the basement floor after finishing. The actual cost was less than their estimate. The three gentlemen doing this job were friendly, hardworking, and professional. This was a great experience. It was really amazing what a great job they did. They got rid of a lifetime's worth of junk in an hour. I would definitely hire them again and will recommend them to friends

Mark and Shane arrived on time. They were polite, very professional and great to work with. We have a huge house that we're cleaning out, and they worked the whole Saturday cleaning out 3 trucks worth. They thought it was only going to be a few hours, but when they found out that it was a larger job than expected, the manager moved other teams to cover their later appointments. They came out with a larger crew on Tuesday and hauled more items. I'll have them back out for more work later. We couldn't have done it without them. We were really impressed!

Derrick and Bryant arrived at our house. They were friendly and courteous. They both came in and asked to view all the items that we wanted hauled away. They checked out all the items and then gave us an estimate before they started. They hauled out the huge sofa sleeper without knocking anything off of the walls, or damaging anything! They were brilliant! They took the bed frame, picnic table, and metal swing. They were quick, precise, and gentle while removing all of the items from inside of the house and outside of the house.

Perfect from start to finish. I called the 1-800-GOT-JUNK number and they hooked me up with someone local. That person was able to come out the SAME day to get rid of my junk. There was no extra charge for how heavy the items were. Great guys, courteous and professional. We couldn't believe how easy it all was. The company even sent a thank-you note later.

I scheduled on-line for same day service on their excellent website. Two men came on time, gave an estimate first before hauling, hauled junk from side of garage, side of house, front of house. Also hauled an old workbench up from basement. Clean truck, uniformed workers, clear estimate with no surprises, easy scheduling, prompt, and they will haul from wherever the junk is, so you don't have to handle heavy stuff. It was expensive but worth it.

They came the same day I called, gave an estimate and completed the job within approximately two hours. They were courteous, hard working and thorough. Because the logs were larger in diameter than they were authorized to remove, the workmen called their supervisor/owner, who authorized the exception.

Checked their website and then called them to find out how there service worked. Booked a 2-hour pickup window on-line. They called fifteen minutes before the scheduled time and showed up at the start of the two hour window. They gave me a price after looking at the mountain of junk. I accepted their bid and had them go ahead and load it up - took them about 15 minutes. They wrote up the bill and I paid them using their Angie's list coupon and my credit card. The two young men were neatly uniformed, very courteous. An altogether pleasant experience. I plan to use them again when we start work on some remodeling we are going to do.
