They were really nice, gave me a tour of their boarding facility. They were friendly and called afterwards to make sure she came out of the anesthetic ok.

Our 19 year old male cat lost his partner cat of 18 years last fall. He's been somewhat depressed and has stopped grooming himself. He was overgrown with his winter coat and his claws were in need of a clipping. I spoke with CAROL, the fabulous groomer at Mendakota Animal Hospital, and she agreed to treat our cat very tenderly and not stress him out too much. Frankly I was worried that if he got too freaked out by the grooming, his little heart would give out. Carol couldn't have been a sweeter soul! Our cat warmed up to her instantly. She ended up having to comb out all of his winter coat before she could bathe him. He was done after only a few hours and we got to bring him home sooner than we thought we would. He is so much happier now. We can tell he is more comfortable than he was before. He looks and smells wonderful. I can't say enough good things about Carol and Mendakot. I will go back to them again for cat grooming!

The staff is nice and generally don't have to wait long but the prices seem to continue to increase where it is becoming to costly to see this veterinarian.

Called them up last minute to board my yorkie while I went on a trip overnight. Explained to the staff that she hadn't ever been away from human contact that long and I was worried. They said they weren't terribly busy that day or the next and so would give her plenty of attention. I called them on my way home the next day saying I would be arriving VERY close to closing time...they said they'd wait for me! I did arrive before closing (just barely)...and the three gals at the desk were playing with Bailey and said she had been out with them most of that day and day prior. They must have been telling the truth...my dog was WORN OUT :) .. and, she wasn't skittish of the staff at all... Bailey slept hard that night.. I could tell she'd had a very fun adventure there with the staff. Price indicated above is the charge for two nights (if animal stays past 11am the next day there is a second day charge- this was explained to me in advance) and a bordatella booster which she needed anyway. THANK YOU!

It is a clean facility. I love Dr. Ernest Hinson; I think he is wonderful. He has gone above and beyond my expectation from a veterinarian. I love the staff there. They are all very friendly. They know my dogs and love them. It is just a very nice place.

It is close and convenient. The boarding is very good.

HAD A DOG A FEW YRS BACK HAD ALLOT OF HEALTH ISSUES,ALLERGIES. DOC HINSON WORKED WITH ME IN A GOOD PLAN OF CARE. 1 MED WAS EXPENSIVE SO I WOULD DO 2 WEEKS AT A TIME. ALL THE WORKERS THERE ARE CARING,SUPPORTIVE. WHEN I HAD TO PUT 1 OF MY DOGS DOWN DOC HINSON WAS VERY KIND AND SUPPORTIVE. MY DOG NOW IS ALWAYS HAPPY TO SEE HIM;.

The animal tech was very pleasant and thorough with information and answering questions. Dr. Hinson took time to greet my dog and make her feel comfortable. He also explained what he was doing and why. He then examined her and was very thorough. I was very pleased with our experience and the care they gave my dog. I have already recommended this clinic to friends with animals.

Dr. Hinson and his entire staff were wonderful! They explained everything they did and my husband was even present when they shaved the cat. They answered all of our questions, responded quickly with follow-up phone calls, and treated our cat with tenderness and respect.

Karen is my groomer and she is great. She does a really good job. We have went other places and they cut my dog's hair uneven. My dog looks good when she is done and isn't traumatized. Karen is really nice and I have seen other dog's come out that look good. The price and location is perfect. She is great.

Dr. Hinson takes his time. He explains what he is doing. He knows his stuff and is good with my animals. He is knowledgeable, kind, interested, and on the money. He is great.

It went very well. Willie behaved himself which is hard because he loves everyone. We were happy with our experience and would go back and hope for the duration of the dog's life, that vet will be his. We also had grooming services done. He looks really nice and we are very happy.

Dr. Ernest Hinson is my hero, truly. Last January one of my cats was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and 2 vets said I had no choice but to put him down. Dr. Hinson saved his life and almost 10 months later he is a happy kitty with a great quality of life. Dr. Hinson's knowledge and skills are unparalleled. He is intuitive, thorough, respectful and always takes the time to answer my questions, as I tend to do a lot of research. His staff are outstanding and as kind and caring as nurses or practitioners. I personally know of 3 dogs that have also had their lives saved by Dr. Hinson. I also bring my other cat in for preventive treatment and checkups. We have also boarded them on occasion, which is reasonable in price, and I always feel confident with the one cats' special needs. They also have convenient hours, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. weekdays and 8-12 on Saturdays. Price is very reasonable, but the care my cats get is priceless. If Dr. H treated humans too, he'd be my Dr.!!!

Dr. Hinson is amazing with my dog. She hates going to the vet, growling and nipping at the vet, which usually leads to muzzling and holding her down to give vaccinations. When we moved to the Twin Cities area, we picked the clinic due to the close proximity, not by referral, so we are very fortunate to find such a quality vet. I was "wowed" by Dr. Hinson's "bedside manner". I warned the front desk that they would probably need a muzzle, which they told Dr. Hinson. He came in and spent 25 minutes with my dog and me, mostly talking to me about her habits and letting her get used to him being in the room. After that time, my dog was at ease, taking treats from him! He was able to give her injections with no muzzle and no growling. He did not agree with muzzling and a man handling my dog, but rather getting to know her.

OUR DOG BECAME SERIOUSLY ILL WITH SOMETHING VERY MYSTERIOUS, BUT DR. HINSON AND HIS STAFF WORKED RELENTLESSLY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TREAT HER AND TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE OF SADIE THAT NOW THAT SHE HAS RECOVERED, SHE LOVES GOING TO THE VET! THEY ALSO HAVE BOARDING AVAILABLE. THEY TRULY CARE ABOUT THEIR ANIMAL PATIENTS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO TAKE THEIR PETS FOR MEDICAL CARE.
