Jason Mayer/Absolute Masonry removed cracked concrete chimney cap and top five courses of cracked bricks and rebuilt with new bricks and new concrete chimney cap. Very hard working crews. 24 hrs from start to finish. Looks better than new. Quick onsite quote, very easy communication to fit our project into their tight weather dependent schedule. Professional setup, work & cleanup. Highly recommended.

No category on here for chimneys, but we hired Absolute Masonry to work on the two chimneys on our 1887 Queen Anne Victorian in Minneapolis. Our roofline is very high and lots of difficult peaks and valleys. They rebuilt one chimney and took down one chimney to the roof line and then re-roofed over that spot. Jason reached out two days prior to the scheduled start date and let us know they could start a day early if we'd like. Great communication with Jason and his team throughout the project. Very professional. The finished project exceeded our expectations. After not raining all summer, it rained every day they were here and they still got the job done early. Exceptional value and quality. Even the cleanup after the job was done was very thorough. We ABSOLUTELY recommend Absolute Masonry and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

Presented professional and appeared well versed in cement chimney repairs, however the communication and customer service is non-existent. They frequently ran behind schedule and made excuses for not being able to complete the job when scheduled to do so on two separate occasions. We had a party with 100 people expected at our home where they left scaffolding up and the trailer parked in front of our house with plans to come back on a Monday to do the work. A phone call of our disappointment expressing this was unacceptable due to the amount of people who were planning on being in our yard the next day. This did result in a quick turnaround but we were provided this by the owner, "I forced my guys to work on a Saturday off. You were sent an email Friday evening telling you we would be there Saturday to accommodate your demands. The job was done to specifications. No pictures were taken. Had you asked for pictures prior to job completion, you would have received them. " It is my opinion, all of this could have been avoided if there was adequate communication and some customer contact. I would not recommend this company. I would pay the additional cost to find someone more customer oriented and one that stands behind their work and doesn't force workers to come in on their day off who technically could have completed this on the scheduled date but didn't because it was a Friday. Also- request post-pictures because who else can see their chimney top from below!

a fine job at a reasonable price

I appreciated the professional approach to my brick replacement project, the timely scheduling and excellent work done. They were on time, done quickly and left the area very clean and neat. The actual brick construction was perfect and exactly as promised for a reasonable price.

Chaise was very nice and professional. He and his crew worked hard and repaired my chimney better than what I expected. Their price was reasonable. I will for sure recommend them to all my friends.

I met with Jason. He understood my projects. They came right out and tackled the tuck pointing and the block repair work. They did an excellent job and left the site clean. I found the bid to be reasonable and competitive. I found them easy to work with and their work met or exceeded my expectations.

Jason reviewed the job and said I would get the estimate that day and I did. Wow!! Lisaâ s scheduling communication was great. Day/time that job was to start was spot on. The work was all done in one day. Tore down a short Chicago brick wall. Rebuilt the wall after tear down. Care was taken through out the day to keep the job site clean. Tarps were put down to catch all debris. Workers were friendly and answered all questions that I had. Clean up of job site was very good.
