Tree trimming and tree removal were fine, but the said the stump would be removed and it was not. They claimed they would come back to do it as they did not have the stump grinder, something that was not discussed when quoting the work. Repeated phone calls have been ignored. Update: This company is too much trouble to deal with, but if you have problems do file a Better Business Bureau complaint.

I come home from work and there is a group of tree trimmers in our yard. They had approached my S.O. while he was in the yard. I'm like "Who are these people and how much is it going to cost $$" we had not gotten estimates. They worked hard and did a good job and cleaned everything up. But............. we decided we wanted a pine tree removed in the back yard. My S.O. agreed to pay an additional $200.00 which included stump removal. It got dark and they did not have the stump grinder. They said they would come back and take care of that on March 18th (written on our invoice) when they didn't come back and we call, sometimes we would hear back sometimes not. The flowers started to come back so the next time they did not come when THEY said they would I said tell them will wait until September. Calls where made, did not keep track, in October after a couple of calls two different people stated we should not have paid for the stump removal until it was done. The man we dealt with was gone now and that's not how they do that. I see that a previous reviewer had the same problem in August.... They have not come back to grind the stump. I'm going to solve the problem by making the stump in to a coffee table and build a patio around it.

Pro Tree Service was working at my neighbors so I went over to ask if they would have time to trim my front yard tree. They agreed to come over when they finished at my neighbors. The supervisor and I looked at my tree and discussed what needed to be done. We agreed on a price of $200.00. I asked if they had a stump grinder and he said they would have one tomorrow and the charge would be $25.00 for that. They started on the front tree and did some thinning and started to clean up. Since it was late in the day I assumed they were done for the day and would be back tomorrow (since we had discussed the stump grinding). They came to the door and requested payment. I wrote a check for the $225.00 stating that we were paying for the grinding now so we wouldn't have to write 2 checks. They never came back. I have called their office 6 times and they never returned my calls. I wrote a complaint to the Better Business Bureau who also tried to deal with them. They never responded to them either. If Pro Tree Service is in your neighborhood, do NOT have them do any work for you. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of work and the fact they accepted payment for work they never intended to do. I should have known better.

I contacted and requested a quote for services from Pro Tree Service, and received a prompt response to my call for an estimate. The estimate was competitive. However, when I called back to ask for a revised estimate so I could better compare all estimates I had received, I never received a call back. So, I eliminated Pro Tree from consideration.

We were satisfied. I had fear that a job like this wouldn't go well or there would be some kind of damage. Didn't happen.

They did great work when they were there.They did not grind a very large stump even below the grass grade.It was covered by woodchip mess so we did not notice it until I went to clean the area up to lay sodThis tree was about 3.5 feet around so a very large stump.I called them and told them of this problem.He told me he was going to follow up with us and they never did.I had to take my chainsaw and "try" to cut it down.I was able to some after going throug 3 new blades and much hard work.I had to bring in extra black dirt to build up the area to try to resolve the issue by making a slight hill in the yardnot what we wanted to doI would consider using them but do NOT pay them in full until everything is completeThey also said they would cut off a VERY large branch on another tree that was dead and they did not to it. They also left many sticks everywhere and we got them to come back and clean it up some more after they left.

We were approached by company representative in neighborhood and he was completely knowledgeable of individual trees, trimming needs, etc. He was thorough in describing what they would do, how, gave a history of their company, and quoted a price. No pressure to agree to anything and gave a cell number to call if we were interested. Called back next day and he again reiterated job they would do and completely remembered our yard, tree needs, etc. Came out next day and did exactly what they said they would do. All crew members were very nice, professional, and hard workers. Clean up was great.

A crew was in the neighborhood and stopped my husband who was mowing the yard to see if they could do some trim work. We don't normally accept this kind of offer, but we had some work we needed to have done and had already received one estimate for the job so we asked them how much it would be. Their quote was less than our orignal, the day was perfect, they were already here, so we said 'go ahead'. They did the work - it was done quickly - and they did exactly what they agreed upon - they cleaned up the yard and were gone - we couldn't tell they had been here except that the trees were trimmed. They did a great job.

Reid showed up at our home, said they were doing work in the neighborhood. We had him take a look at 2 oaks that we were concerned about. He originally told my husband one was dead for sure. Later he told me that maybe they were both ok, they would take them down later at no extra charge if they did not leaf out. Original bid included 1 of the questionable oaks, another big oak and 2 small trees to be removed, and 10 trees to be trimmed. 1 guy showed up to do all the work. We had to leave and when we returned we saw that they cut down the wrong tree and did not trim our maple. It took 1 month of calling every week before they came to cut down the correct tree. We showed them the 2 original oaks that we had been concerned about that were now obviously both dead. We were told Reid had been let go and if we wanted those 2 oaks down it would be an additional $700.00. Of course, we declined.

I am very pleased with the work. My neighbor was getting an estimate and I asked the bidder to bid my job also. He provided a written estimate and a copy of their insurance certificate (without me even asking for it.) I checked Angie's List, checked the BBB and called their insurance company. Everything checked out and they performed the work the next day. Their price was much cheaper than 2 other bids I had done last year. They were performing 3 or 4 jobs in my neighborhood. One of the jobs removed a large tree. The company had about 25 large tree "chunks". They were going to chip them and I asked if I could have them. They moved them onto my property and stacked them for me. (I will need to split them but it will make nice firewood.) I told them I wanted 5 trees on the side of my house trimmed. They bid 5 trees. When they started I realized I meant 6 trees. I forgot one. They did the 6th tree in the original bid. They didn't have to do that. Troy(leader) and his crew did a great job.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND CLEANED UP THE MESS BEFORE THEY LEFT. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

VERY GOOD TO WORK WITH. THEY ARE FROM LITTLE FALLS BUT DO BUSINESS IN THE CITIES. THEY ARE VERY PROMPT! THEY TOLD US THEY WOULD BE HERE ON MONDAY, AND WHEN I GOT HOME FROM WORK ON MONDAY, ALL THE WORK WAS ALREADY DONE. THEY ALSO OFFERED TO CUT UP THE APPLE TREE SO WE COULD USE IT FOR FIRE WOOD. THEY EVEN STACKED IT FOR US.
