Andrew was wonderful!   After the initial phone conversation, he had a an estimate to me within 3 days.   He was very accommodating to my schedule and pleasant to do business with.   
His workmanship is wonderful!  The outcome was better then I had hoped in both repair jobs.  He is professional, friendly, and very courteous.  He finished in a shorter time frame than estimated and the final cost was lower than the original estimate.  
I would not hesitate to recommend him and will likely contact him again with some upcoming projects.

Everything was perfect.  response to initial email was quick as was getting estimate and setting up time to complete the work.  On the day work was done, he arrived early (called first to make sure it was OK).  Did a great job and cleaned up.  Very courteous.  I most appreciate he was willing to do this small job that others were not willing to do.  Would hire him again.

Wow! I called Andrew around 10:20 AM and he returned my call at 10:46. He asked for me to text him my address and he would be to my house my 11:15. The guy showed up on the dot! How often have I seen that in this industry...not only did he show up on time, he knew what he was doing and fixed my leaking sliding door in the midst of a torrential downpour here in the Twin Cities. I would have never discovered there are plugs underneath a sliding door to let water drain. He found them and pulled them out and it took care of the water draining problem. He was very polite...even removed his shoes to walk through to my house.

Andrew responded promptly and gave me an accurate quote to provide the work needed.  He showed up on time, cleaned up well after himself, and did a professional job.  I'm glad that I hired him and I felt that the price was fair.  I will definitely be contacting him again when I need more work of this type done!

They were great; he was wonderful. I was not sure how the repair was going to be done, but he figured it out. He was prompt, did the work beautifully at a reasonable price and I would definitely use him again if I need his services.

Working with Andrew was a great experience! When he arrived, he talked through the work that needed to be done and the approach he'd be taking to get it done. Even with a couple hiccups, he was quick to think through the steps and never slowed down in his work. He was clean and courteous and came prepared with all the tools needed to complete the work.  It did take longer than he originally anticipated, so he needed to come back a second day to wrap up, but was able to work us into his busy schedule as soon as he could. My only complaint is that he is in such high demand. I would work with Andrew again without hesitation!

My old back steps needed to be replaced before winter. I called Andrew. i have utilized his service in the past, and he is my first choice for repair work. When I told him that I generously apply salt in the winter, he recommended a treated lumber that would handle salt better than plain cedar. He also recommended that the new steps be one foot longer to accommodate the railing, and this additional length is a great place to store the salt container. He completed the project in a couple of sessions and, not only are the 16' steps beautiful, but also they feel much more sturdy and secure than the previous steps. Most of all, I trust Andrew's work and judgement, and know that his recommendations are always in my best interest.

I called Andrew (who I had previously used on general handyman services) on an emergency basis for a window that I had a problem with (and snow forecast for the next day!).  He arrived promptly as promised, completed an emergency fix and allowed us to enjoy the remainder of our visit with out-of-town family. Andrew is a skilled, multi-talented, professional who has helped us on a few occasions and delivered requested services on time and on budget.  Highly recommended.  He is not cheap but he knows what he is doing and there is no time wasted.

We were extremely pleased with the service we received from the Melon Man.  I had called approximately 20 different Handy Man services that I had found on the internet and had no luck getting anyone to show up.  I decided to renew my membership with Angie's list and quickly found the Melon Man.  He performed the work that we needed on short notice and with the utmost professionalism.  He did a phenomenal job and for a very reasonable price.  I would highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again for future jobs.  I have already passed along his name and information to other friends.  I can't thank him enough!

Andrew did his usual great job. I called him to replace a wooden window in the garage with a new vinyl one. This had to be complete before the house was resided. Andrew found the appropriate window and installed it within days. His cleanup was fantastic and his price reasonable. I can absolutely recommend Melon Man for any handyman work.

Andrew is a skilled handyman.  A little expensive but you get what you pay for.  Work was completed on time and he did a good job.

Professional and personable and does quality work.

Andrew came out on time to give me the estimate.  He got back to me right away with his estimate and when he could start the work.  Andrew is extremely flexible because I kept adding on items that needed to be done after the initial estimate - which was never a problem.  I really appreciated his honesty and he did a fantastic job for us!!

Everything went very well.  He showed up on time for his estimate and recommended other vendors for jobs that he did not feel comfortable doing.  He showed up on time for the work he did perform, was pleasant and professional.   Will definitely be calling on him to do more work around our house.

This is the second time we have used Andrew for projects and will use him again in the future.  Contacted him about redoing a kitchen light which involved sawing off "legs" on the lite (best way to describe the lite was it looked like a table hanging upside down).  This was a huge job that took him most of the day.  He set up plastic from ceiling to floor to contain the sheetrock dust when he was cutting and vacuumed up the sheet rock dust daily.  After cutting off the 4 posts he had to reconfigure the light to hang pendant lights that we purchased.  He then had to patch the large holes that were made from cutting off the legs of the original light.  He had to return a total of 3 times to even out the sheet rock and ready it for painting (which we did ourselves).  He also fixed a crack along a corner wall in the basement.  He is very professional and will work with a client until they are satisfied.  We will definitely be using him again in the near future for projects.  We feel so fortunate we found him through Angie's List.

Quickly responded to my request, was able to schedule quickly, price quote was on target, and he cleaned up after himself. Was respectful enough to take shoes off at door without asking.

Andrew is super professional. He arrives as scheduled, does a great job and cleans up after the work is completed. He also makes cost-saving suggestions along the way. He's really great to work with. I highly recommend him.
