When we called Midwest Radon, our call was quickly answered and we easily scheduled an appointment to have our home tested. During the conversation, John was very informative. When our test was complete, these guys came out and made an estimate same-day. Our levels were only very slightly above the point where mitigation is recommended. John was completely forthcoming about this. We highly appreciated the fact that it did not seem like he was pressuring us into a sale. The work was done quickly and efficiently. They ran the system through our closets and attic in such a way that no one would ever notice the system is there. They provided a couple of options and relevant pricing on how the system could be arranged. Again, the process felt honest, authentic, and transparent, end-to-end. This is a local, father-son partnership, and you can tell these guys take pride in both their work and their word. Highly recommended, and I'd use them again if I ever move.

The work was done quickly, the workers were very friendly, and everything was done exactly how we were told it would be done. The electrician they sent out to install the outside outlet was also very professional and prompt. Compared to the other estimates we received, Midwest Radon had the best price and the most sensible solution. We would recommend them to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

It went perfectly...especially since our readings came in low and Midwest recommended that no work was needed, we are in the "safe zone"! We were happy to hear that and happy that we weren't upsold on anything we didn't need.

John was great from start to finish. I was concerned with the looks of the piping going outside the house like many systems are. John was able to run it through the house and out the roof. He even painted the roof vent to color match the other vents. I was also concerned about the noise of the electric motor that moves the air making an irritating noise outside. He was able to put the motor in the attic to eliminate that problem. He also listened to my concerns about getting the radon to as close to zero or zero as possible. John stated he could run two lines into basement floor exhausting out one vent to accomplish that. After making the first hole he found dry sand and decided one hole would be sufficient air movement. After installing and a 48 hour test we found he was right. We had zero or very very close to zero for readings. I would certainly use him again.
