I met with John Daly who was professional and went above and beyond in reviewing the best possible installation for our home. He is super knowledgeable and did everything he could to respond to our concerns and requirements. I highly recommend him.

These guys are wonderful people and great to work with! They really go above and beyond, where do I start...Firstly, Midwest Radon does things right. I had multiple bids to install a new radon system in our house we just purchased as the levels came in higher than what the EPA considers safe. They guaranteed radon levels below 2 pCi/L, which was the lowest levels when comparing bids. Secondly, Jack, John, and Mike are all professional and flexible to the homeowner's needs. Communication and timeliness was not an issue at all, they kept me informed and showed up when they said they were. Midwest Radon told me that they will pull the appropriate permits, and get an electrician to install the outside outlet to power the system. Not all of the other contractors were going to pull the permits and get an electrician to do the work, these guys do it the right way! Not to mention, Midwest Radon's bid was extremely fair, considering the additional cost of the permits and the peace of mind that you get with someone from the city coming out to make sure the work is completed within code. Once the work was done, they cleaned up well. Other than the visible radon mitigation system, I couldn't tell they drilled two holes in my basement to complete the install. Lastly, I had an issue with a neighbor about the radon system. John and Mike were more than happy to make a trip to my house to figure out a solution (free of charge) that works for myself and my neighbor, which we ultimately did. Never, did I feel dismissed by them or I wasn't as important as someone who is about to pay for a new system. I'm confident that if I ever have any other issues, I could call them and they'd be willing to do anything reasonable within their control. The biggest shame is that these guys only install radon mitigation systems, I'd be comfortable using them with any work that needs to be done in my house.

We shopped around and Midwest Radon Specialists was the only group of five I contacted to actually come out to look at my home first before giving an estimate. I really appreciated that because we have a slightly odd home with an upper level that was added later, and planning a decent route for the mitigation system was a little unique. During the home visit the proposed plan was very well explained to me and I felt good about the interaction. It took us a couple of months to move forward with the project on our end, but that wasn't a problem for them and they got us added to their schedule. During our delay, I purchased a digital radon detector and the readings on that were above 30pci/L the week before the mitigation system was installed, so I was a little concerned with what level the reduction would get us to. The actual install took ~2 1/2hrs and seemed to go very smoothly, and the installers were very professional and answered all the additional questions I had for them. It's been 3 days since the install and the levels are down below 1pci/L now. I'm very happy with the interactions I had with and the job that Midwest Radon Specialists did and would recommended them to anyone else looking for radon mitigation.

We worked with two different employees on the system activation. Both were professional and very easy to work with. The work seems to have been done well, and their follow-up testing showed a huge drop in radon level in our basement (from about 5 pCi/L to less than 0.5). The whole experience was hassle-free.

My spouse and I agreed that John was professional, prompted, detailed, and a really nice guy; we were confident of his trustworthiness. (We didn't get the same sense from the other company as the guy we met with was inexperienced, didn't problem solve, and had an ego.) John heard what our priority was, made great suggestions, and explained the technicalities of radon mitigation in detailed. We were confident in John's expertise. He installed the system in our main area of concern (our basement level art studio & room addition), and he made sure the system is out of sight as well as in an area that's most effective (taking air out from under two separate slabs). Technical expert, great problem solving, professional, and a nice guy. Highly recommended. A very positive experience.

They were in our home for almost a full day installing a radon mitigation system which means they were on all 3 levels of our home. They did an excellent job. They were prompt, courteous, cleaned up after themselves and overall it was a very positive experience. I would highly recommend them. In fact a realtor that we were working with is changing who she recommends for installing radon mitigation system to this company because she was so impressed with their work.

They were there on time and they picked up the unit on time. They were clear in their explanation of the levels, they were courteous, and they gave a detailed Easy-to-Read summary of the levels as well as other details picked up over the testing.

It went fantastic. I have a small house with two small children. My radon concern was urgent. John was there with in 24 hours. We were all gone during that day. I came home and assumed he didn't make it because everything looked just as I left it. But, he did come. I was very impressed with John's service and John himself!

***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*** Services were performed in a timely and professional manner by Midwest Radon Specialists. As a new homeowner and new father I needed to know if my house/geographical area has or has a history of Radon. John performed a radon test for my home and provided general/historical information before all work was done. My home did not require a Radon system installation however John showed examples of previous work which appeared to show great craftsmanship and care for the Home.

They did a wonderful job, the work looked very professional and they got the levels super low. The thing that impressed me the most, and why I chose to go with them is they explained everything to me, so I could understand the different options - The only thing I knew about radon before that was, I had to install a system in order to sell my house - very pleased

They installed a pipe that removed the radon gas. They did it in such a way that it was not visible. They explained each step and why it was taking place, never talking down to us. They worked fast and cleaned up perfectly.

I was in the process of selling a home and discovered that there was a radon issue. The home was over 100 years old and the issue of radon was completely new to me. Midwest Radon provided me with helpful information, efficient solutions, and a great end result in a timely manner which resulted in a successful implementation of a mitigation system that enabled the sale to move forward. They understood the need to move quickly due to the pending sale and also were mindful about installing the system in a way that had the least impact on aesthetics to the exterior of the home. Now that radon was on my radar screen, I elected to have my current home tested and discovered that I needed a system there as well. Midwest Radon delivered once again delivered.

Great experience. I did not know much about radon before. After the test was complete, we got a detailed report about radon and the significant health risks if undetected. They explained the results in a manner that was easily understood for a complete rookie on radon. The test was quick and easy. I feel much more comfortable in my house knowing that the silent effects of radon are not harming my family. I would recommend Midwest radon to everyone.
