It went well, no issues, and the house looked great when they were done.  I would use them again.

Don was very helpful with strong work values.very reasonable price.I would highly recommend AA painting.He even powerwashed my garage for no ex charge.

Don was simply fantastic in how he handled this job.  I called him with 3 days notice due to another painter canceling on me right before we were moving into our new house.  Don showed up on time with his crew, worked into the night and got everything done before our moving trucks showed up.  
I've been in real estate for 18 years, and when my personal contractor, who primarily does high-end homes, saw his work, he added him to his list as his new painter. 
Can't say enough about Don and his guys.  Professional, friendly, very reasonably priced, and his work speaks for itself.   I highly recommend AA Painting. 

From my initial contact with Don, he was professional, responsive and very helpful in understanding the scope of work that would be performed. We wanted to enamel the main floor of our home and I received a quote which he stayed true to. Both he and his workers were professional, personable and very knowledgeable about the enameling process. It was a 3 day job and Don kept us updated on the progress each day. In the end we were very happy with the results! It is such a transformation and we absolutely love the new fresh look of white trim in our home! We enjoyed working with Don and have already booked him for another project later this year.

Painting two coats on the existing painted cabinets with 21 doors and drawers.  Finished in two days minimizing the loss of  the kitchen use.

Don and his crew were very professional and punctual.  Don provided very valuable input in choosing colors and accents.  House looks beautiful.  His price was reasonable and he was very honest about giving right opinions.  We will use AA Painting for next project and recommend Don to our family and friends.

We did have an issue but it was resolved so it worked out fine. Had them remove wallpaper and possibly was going to paint but I just had them do they wallpaper removal. I know I wasn't happy with the scheduling but I think part of it was Angie's List when they sent out the special and so many people responded to it making it hard for scheduling and I do understand that. But I remember us kind of setting up a time and then he called early and said he was coming out tomorrow and I had to try and clean out the whole room when I got home from work that evening so he could be out there the next day. I think he did a good job taking down the wallpaper and it took a long time.

Don was very peofessional, punctual, as well as helpful and his prices were very reasonable. He went above and beyond and to be honest I don't think that our renovation would have been as successful without his help. We hired someone that did a very bad job on the drywall and Don was able to help fix many of their mistakes and make the place look amazing. He also stained our stair railing as well as much of the trim and installed it himself. I have hired Don 3 times now for various jobs and he has cemented himself as my go to person for any type of painting work we need.

 

Renovation is very difficult projects for me to do because, I have 9 years old child with one little dog to take care of them.

I've been waiting to do this project for long time and I think I  planned very well.

The reason, I hired AA Painting Co have excellent reviews and price was fit to my budget.

AA Painting could also schedule over the weekend, It was perfect to start my project and excited to see transformed my beautiful  home.

I could stay my sister's house while construction is going.

 On Sunday afternoon, I was stop by home to see how far project is going well as scheduled.

I was pretty impressive that how they do Prep and Finish work.

It was AWESOME detailing work!!!

All the furniture and appliances were covered with clear plastic and masking tape,  all the floor was cover with some kind of protective paper  and also covered with big white drop cloth on my wooden floor.

Caulking was done neatly brushed line on wall and woodwork are sharp as cutting with blade.

All the wall was repaired and sanding prime ready to do finish coats.

Seems like whole walls are sanding before finish coats, accent dark color was covered without roller mark, clean line, ceiling repair could not see the area that was damaged by water and flaking textures...

I went through final check up; All the garbage is removed vacuumed all the floor and all the light fixtures are back on right place, touch up paint cans are labeled clearly for future.

I hired AA Painting to do exterior painting this Spring also.

Very few painters I received estimates from could paint and do the carpentry that was necessary (framing and stain the wood).   I did not have to coordinate with two different guys, fantastic.  He worked with our schedule, not easy to do.  His crew was professional, polite, on time, quiet, and did not leave a mess.    He doubled checked the colors, and stained the wood to my liking, again not easy to do.   They moved the furniture, took everything off the walls, prepped the walls, and repaired the ceiling in less than a day.    I was amazed they completed the job in less time, started on Friday afternoon and completed the job Sunday night.  Don recommended going with oak trim, not pine.  I'm so glad I listened to  him.  The patio door needed custom framing, not a standard size, the trim he choose was fantastic.  The entire trim work is fantastic.  It was worth the wait to find someone we liked and trusted.  

Called and they were able to come the next day. Did a good job. Did a color match for the laundry room paint. Took their shoes off when entering the house, used plastic protections and cleaned after they were done. Was happy with their service. Will use them again.

We were unable to get the service scheduled. I needed the work done soon after I purchased the deal which was during their busy time. They recommended I get a refund because they could not accommodate me. I appreciated their honesty but was disappointed they couldn’t commit.

I have worked with Don and AA Painting for years. He came to my home to provide an estimate for an interior paint job and install an interior door (which he had already purchased on my behalf). After not hearing from him for a month, I contacted him regarding the status of the estimate and was told he was now too busy to do the job and that I should find someone else. After working with someone for more than 10 years I would have expected better customer service. I have referred many customers to his company. Very disappointed.

Extremely clean, accommodating.  Left no mess what so ever (a big deal when wall paper is removed).
Patched walls, even repairing small areas.
Painting has even lines, including corners.

This project was purchased as a special offer on Angie's List.  Very flexible as to scheduling; they adhered to our vacation requirements. They were very efficient; they arrived on time and completed the job with two men in about 5 hours. They cleaned up the two rooms before leaving.

We needed some painting done quickly in order to get the house ready for market.  Don was able to come out to give me an estimate almost immediately and completed the work in a day - less than a week from my first call.  And at a very reasonable price.  The only 2 criticisms I have is that the painting was a little patchy on the stairwell that needed touching up and there was a large chunk of carpet on the stairs that was somehow torn out during the job.  I didn't bother bringing either up with Don, however, because the patchiness was minimal and something I could easily correct myself, and also the carpet is being replaced (of which Don was aware).  I would certainly use the company again in the future based on price and ability to schedule quickly.

Don Shin and team were incredibly awesome to work with. From the start, the bidding process, Don was very professional providing a detailed electronic statement explaining services and associated costs. Don's communication throughout the process was great. What impressed me the most about Don is his apparent sense of pride in his work. It's important for Don's customers to be happy with his work. I had 5 contractors give me a bid and I'm so happy that we decided to have Don do the work. My house needed some work before it was painted - we had rotting siding, rotting window frames and Don replaced the siding (matching it perfectly), fixed the windows. The painting is perfect. He power washed and stained the deck which wasn't in the original plan but it needed to be done and Don made time to complete. Don's pricing is very competitive. I highly recommend Don and team!

I purchased a big deal for 8 hours of labor (2 men for 4 hours) for painting or wall paper removal for $199. I purchased this mid-March 2014. Don quickly responded to my purchase within two days. He asked me for details on what type of service I needed and if I had a particular time I needed it done. I let him know I wasn't in a rush and gave him the details of the job. I was concerned when I didn't hear back from him a week later so when I sent him another email, he apologized for not responding immediately but he had a huge response from the big deal so he was overwhelmed He promised he would contact me when my ticket came up as they followed a first come, first serve policy.

Don called me May 13 to schedule my wallpaper removal. They were available the next morning! He did remind me that the deal was for labor only and I needed to provide some supplies such as masking tape, painter's plastic, patching compound, etc. Since I wasn't able to pick up those items, he offered to pick them up for me and I would reimburse him, which came to $40. The convenience of not having to pick these items up was worth the $40.

Don and his team arrived promptly. He verified with me exactly what I wanted done before the team started work. They taped all of the woodwork and covered the floors and doors with the plastic to protect them from the dust, debris and patching compound. The two man team members were very polite and worked hard. Once they were done, they moved my refrigerator back into place. If the project was a little smaller, they would have sanded where they patched and then painted the entire area but it was more important for me to have all of the paper removed.

I would definitely use Don again!

We were very happy with the work AA Painting did for us.  We are first-time homeowners and were nervous about spending money on painters, but this was well worth the cost.  Don came over to give us an estimate, which to our delight was at least 10% cheaper than a couple other painters we looked into.  He came over with two of his guys and they finished the project quickly and quietly.  They were very polite as well.  We originally had planned on painting a couple of the rooms ourselves, so we already had those rooms prepped with plastic on the floors.  Don offered to paint those rooms for a couple hundred bucks extra (it's possible that it could have cost more if we did not have the rooms prepped).  Don also volunteered to clean our foyer window free of charge.  Overall, it took the three guys 1.5 days to finish everything.  Don also patched up a big hole for us in a separate room, free of charge.  We highly recommend AA Painting.
