PRESTON IS SOMEONE WHO KNOWS A LOT ABOUT HARDWOOD FLOOR REFINISHING, HAVING BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR OVER 10 YEARS. SINCE HE JUST WENT INTO BUSINESS FOR HIMSELF, THE ADVANTAGE OF HIRING MASTERPIECE RIGHT NOW IS THAT HE IS PROBABLY GOING TO BE DOING THE WORK HIMSELF. I KNOW WITH SOME OF THE BIGGER FLOOR SANDING COMPANIES IN THE TWIN CITIES, YOU COULD HAVE SOMEONE WORKING ON YOUR FLOOR WITHOUT A LOT OF EXPERIENCE OR SKILL. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK PRESTON DID--THE FLOORS LOOK GREAT AND HE WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. HE KNOWS A LOT ABOUT DIFFERENT TYPES OF FINISHES AND HE SEEMS TO HAVE STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT. HIS PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE ALSO, I DID GET A COUPLE OF QUOTES THAT WERE ABOUT 10-15% LOWER, BUT I GOT THE FEELING AFTER TALKING TO THEM THAT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
