Welcome to Specialty Stump Grinding! We are locally owned and operated out of Elko, MN serving the South and Southwest Metro area for all your residential, commercial, and rural stump removal needs. Bob Novak, the owner and operator of Specialty Stump Grinding, started serving customers in central Minnesota in 2000. In 2017 we moved our operations to the south and southwest metro area. We continue to serve these areas taking pride in our integrity, reliability, and high standards of customer service. Our turf friendly equipment can handle all jobs both large and small. We have equipment to get into tight spaces and gated back yards taking care of all your stump removal needs. We take pride in a job done right. We are a fully insured business and will work around your schedule working days, evenings, and weekends to provide you service as you need it.

Bob is a wonderful man, he understands the stump removal business and has a very pleasant demeanor. He explains what is being done and is willing to discuss pricing which I found to be really fair. He mentioned that he has a brother that has been in the business for over 40 years so his knowledge base is there. I highly recommend Bob as a tree stump remover!

Bob came the day he said he would both for the estimate and the project. He kept to the estimate and had me review his work before considering the project complete, to be sure I was satisfied. He also was flexible, taking out another stunk while her was onsite. Very good pricing too. I'll be using him again in the spring.
